Think of what this means for Deku, though. The stressors of the fourth user’s life were enough to force him into isolation because of how bad danger sense was. Think of how bad it’ll be for Deku, especially considering the fact that he’ll be in so much pain emotionally since he knows when people are getting hurt but can do nothing to help them. I have a horrible feeling that his mental health is going to spiral and he’s going to go dark on us. Imagine how scary that will be for his classmates too, and especially Bakugou. He’s known him the longest out of everyone and has never seen him like this before. And taking into account how much he cares about him now, it’ll be awful for him to watch Deku sink into a state of constant anger and fear. He also will probably feel like he has no right to help him, either, since he spent years making him afraid. It’s going to be hell for everyone, and I’m both excited and terrified.
And Deku has to literally KILL someone, too! Friendly reminder as well that he is a *child.* He is *sixteen.* This child is being asked to kill someone. Even if they are the worst villain of all time, he is still going to have to take someone’s life. Imagine how traumatic that will be, not only for him but for the people who see it too. Jesus Christ this series got dark...
@@julietf3360 technically, it's easy to kill a person, both physically and mentally, if a situation calls for it. We have empathy, sure, but not enough for our own self destruction. Then again, this is Deku we're taking about.
All these moral plot lines are getting quite overused in my opinion. Steven Universe, this is war. Avatar the Last Airbender, this is war. My Hero, this is fricking war. The only one I understood was ALTA since Aang was raised in an environment where killing someone is the ultimate sin driving his people into becoming vegans. If this were All Might, sure, cuz his relation to Nana might cloud his judgement. Deku really has little to lose especially since Shigaraki is an unknown variable. Is he being controlled by AFO? Then, sure, have them find a way, but he's made it pretty clear that destruction was his goal either way. He killed like half of the standing heroes and let a huge number of them resign. He's a kid, but remember, kids are just as capable of killing as adults. He might see this as a dishonor to All Might which was one of the only reason I'd see as an excuse, but that's still pushing it.
If they made Deku into a friendship is power sort of dude at the end, I'm gonna riot lol.

He finally got to speak to them all, I loved every personality the users had, but how one for all killed some of the previous users shocked me. One for all will be gone. But out of everything that happened, I had no words when nana shimura asked him to kill his grandson. Her own grandson, that completely turned dark.

I’ve said for a long time that Deku would never be able to pass the quirk on to another quirkless user, with it gaining even more strength it would blow up any normal person (like it almost did Deku at first, until he was in great physical shape.) The twist that it kills off a user that already has a quirk is pretty brilliant on Horikoshi’s part, guaranteeing Deku to be the final user will give the end of the story real weight and significance.
It makes a beautiful kind of symmetry that OFA can finally end and it’s users rest once AFO is finally permanently defeated.
It will only get stronger once he's mastered OFA and can train it. Otherwise it won't get any stronger

Y’all are forgetting that this is really no longer her grandson, this is AFO’s Successor, this is no longer the boy who wanted to desperately become a hero even with the rejection of his fathers ideals, this is the guy who now has All For one and wants to reshape the world in his own image, he is A truly villain, mercilessly killing all who stand in his way. That is no longer her grandson that is a completely different person than what he was, even having a new alias, being Tomura Shigaraki, Tenko shimura died after AFO took him in
Besides that, she literally tells Gran "I don't have a son." Implying that her attachment would not interfere with her hero work so either way, she's come to terms that Shigaraki is her grandson in blood and nothing else. This also comes into the "Heroes hurt those they know for strangers." mentality her son developed.
If I'm being honest, All Might probably became her replacement for Kotaro and that's just fricking sad. Especially on how she probably believed that she failed the both of them. I'd like to have a flashback if Kotaro and All Might ever met. That would be cool

@@DatLeo47 That has been a prevalent theory for several years now, but it’s never been stated in the manga or show. Until now they’ve always been extremely cagey about anything that could indicate All Mights age. To my knowledge the closest thing prior to this is when Cementos said that he’s 31 and grew up watching him on the news.
I actually predicted he was 50-58 years old since a lot of characters have grown up watching him and even characters in their 30s and since Gran Torino was like 70 something. I knew All Might had to be like 10 or 20 years younger than him.

For a simply term, those people who has weak/strong quirks possibly they couldn't handle the one for all for that long ,they didn't have a high capacity of quirk for their body, hence they already at their limits while those people are quirkless potentially they could have a high or limitless capacity of quirks like deku & all might but the only differences is it's depends on which is worthy to be hero/holder of OFA.
From what I understood, it doesn't matter whether your quirk is weak or not, but a matter of if you have a quirk or not.
It says here that because all might is an empty cup, he not only managed to live longer, but also make it like it's his natural quirk. Which explains as to why all might always says
"When I got OFA, I knew how to use it right away"
Which is why in deku's case, he is having difficulty because the quirk is still patterned to all might.
Taking the water and a cup analogy, it might be like the water (ofa) has already taken shape in all might's cup and when transferred to deku, it's still raking a while to fill the nooks and crannies of his cup hence why as time goes on, he gets better at using it..

This about to be a whole essay about my endgame OFA theory but I would appreciate it if you all could read it and give me your thoughts. TL;DR: Deku will sacrifice OFA to defeat Shigaraki and AFO.
With the reveal that Deku will be the last holder, that OFA should only be held by quirkless people and even then it has evolved to the point even them can’t handle it and that OFA consumes the life force of a quirk user thus killing them, then it has basically confirmed in my mind that Deku will become the worlds greatest hero by sacrificing One for All. We know that Shigaraki was already experiencing the quirk singularity when his body was breaking down during the fight with the heroes. Granted he was at 75% and getting attacked but the fact remains that his body began breaking down due to his body not being able to handle his power. We know that Deku is against killing but at the same time knows that there’s no other way to defat the AFO quirk unless is destroyed. So what if Deku defeats Shigaraki and All for One by giving them the OFA quirk in the final battle? There’s a couple reasons why I think this. First, we know that OFA is a power that’s meant for a quirkless body. We saw that the 4th user had OFA for 18 years. Since the power was growing longer than usual with a user, OFA began to slowly kill the 4th. Because he already had a quirk (Danger Sense) plus OFA, his body couldn’t keep up and OFA drained his life force. Killing him from old age at 40 and cracking his body on his last year alive (the scar on his face). Second, the 4th got killed by an incredibly weaker version of OFA and after 4 other users the quirk has only gotten stronger. Third, All Might was stated as the reason OFA is as powerful as it is now. He cultivated the power for 40 years and didn’t suffer side effects because he was quirkless. But, we saw with Deku that the power has grown so unstable that not even a quirkless body after extensive training can handle its full power. Third, we also know that Deku is going to be the last user since OFA can not be used by normal people anymore due to how strong it has become. If Deku cultivated the power the same time as All Might did (40 years) and tried to find a successor it would be impossible. We know that only 20% of the world population is quirkless meaning that since is 20% as a whole, that includes older people that were not born in Deku’s generation and since we only ever saw another young quirkless person (Melissa) that leads me to believe that most of the powerless people are from previous generations like All Might. This number gets smaller each generation meaning that in the future by the time Deku is ready to retire, the quirkless population might either be non existent or be so small that is like 5% of the world population. Plus, even if he found a strong quirkless kid, the power would be so great that even with training they would explode and if he gave it to a kid with a quirk not only would they explode but if they managed to survive then they would probably die instantly from old age. So this leads me to believe that Deku in the final battle after realizing there’s no other choice decides to let Shigaraki steal OFA. This would lead to Shigaraki dying on the spot since his body would not be able to contain dozens of OFA amped quirks. This would make it so Deku didn’t kill Shigaraki but also couldn’t save him, learning that not everyone can be saved. It would be a intermedium between saving Shigaraki and being unredeemable. With OFA and it’s history probably being public knowledge in the future, Deku would be recognized as The Worlds Greatest Hero because he defeated “The Demon Lord” that has ruled Japan for a century at the cost of his own quirk. Bakugou could then become the number 1 hero and the strongest while at the same time having an internal monologue recognizing Deku as truly the best which would bring his arc full circle from rejecting Deku as weak to accepting him as strong. Todoroki could become the number 2 Hero while at the same time using it as a way to redeem his father’s sins while forgiving him and moving away from his traumatic past. This would also be looked as Shoto cleaning up the mess his father created and thus being looked as hero that surpassed Endeavor. Deku would then become a teacher at UA. Filling in the role All Might had as Foundational Hero Studies Teacher and thus becoming the successor to All Might in more than one way while at the same time having multiple successors of his own. He would also be perfect for this role due to his years of hero analysis and his notebooks could be used as the textbooks or the Hero course curriculum and thus further cementing his legacy as the Worlds Greatest Hero. Finally, we know that Horikoshi originally planned to have Deku give OFA to Bakugou so they could defeat AFO and Bakugou would become the number 1 but also recognized Deku as the greatest. Although he scrapped that idea, with the recent reveals and the quirk singularity occurring, I think Horikoshi might have altered the ending so Deku loses OFA and Bakugou still becomes the number 1 Hero but in a different way than he originally planned. If you are thinking why would Horikoshi would take OFA from Deku is because it ties in with his character. Deku is supposed to be the ideal hero and from what we’ve seen, his greatest strength is not his power but his sacrificial nature and his ability to inspire others. Public knowledge of his selfless act of giving up OFA and defeating AFO would not only make him the greatest because he defeated the villain but because it would inspire others especially heroes to follow in his footsteps and put others before themselves thus making a society greater than All Might because instead of everyone depending on a single hero. Heroes and citizens alike would put others before themselves and would make a society that puts heroism first instead of popularity so when the next villain rises they can stop them together and society won’t crumble like it did with All Might’s retirement.
I read all of that and all I can say is...wow. I can see all of this happening
Afo is a quirk that has the capacity to handle thousands of other quirks without destroying the body so no ,I don think having 9 more quirks(ofa) will kill shiggi

someone on twitter said that the whole "its your power!" is now coming in a whole circle. we know, that (well most of us) thought of dekus quirk as all mights quirk just 'passed' even deku himself did this sometimes in the anime/manga, it happened more frequently after he started getting quirks from the past users. but now he is the only one who can use it til its full potential, he's literally the last one with this quirk, making it his officially since he can't pass it onto anyone. its HIS quirk. not all mights, not the past users, its dekus.
Bakugou is lucky that he only had that quirk for a few minutes otherwise he'd probably die in a year or 2.
And with how much bakugo pushed himself he could possibly croak in less than a year

The two past users in the corner caught my attention because typically when we someone is forced to put their face in a corner like that it is a sign of shame, or that they ate there to contemplate their actions. So this makes me wonder if those two were users who misused the power of OFA. Not necessarily villains but they may have done things they shouldn't have so they are being punished by the other users until they can make up for their mistakes by assisting Izuku.

There's probably a slight chance of that. Knowing Deku he would probably try and save Shigaraki giving him a second chance in life. Maybe he'll try and go find out why Nana Shimura wants him to kill Tenko. And it's Deku, he'll never give up until the good intentions he wants to happen, happens.

1: If, and this is a big if, deku does decide to kill shigoraki( sorry for spelling) then it comes to two outcomes. Worst case scenario he dies while killing AFO and the cycle stops with deku. The second, he survives but will hold onto the power until he dies, but as insurance, he saves a single follicle of hair just in case of something big like AFO appears again.
2: will he tell the people who’s close to him that he’s playing a dangerous dance that he could die and could deku handle the morale of his acting of taking a life even if evil. How will his friends handle it? Not to mention his mother.

Yeah considering MHA is sometimes a comedy genre.
I am a pessimistic person. But I have been kicking this theory with my friends for a while (and it got me kicked out of group chats) but maybe Deku becoming the greatest hero isn't him being #1. Hero can be seen as anything to anyone (Stain to Toga for instance). Maybe it is Deku sacrificing his life to defeat an enemy (such as Shigaraki) and being remembered for that. Again, it isn't likely, but not entirely impossible.
He wouldn’t be narrating the beginning of this if he died. The manga is technically one big backstory being told by deku.

A few years ago I read a novel it had a very good line about a a power that's been transferred from generation to generation. It goes something like this,

Makes sense that Deku would be the last holder. Not only has the power grown to the point extensive training only allows you to use 5% but it would be impossible for someone to get OFA without their body exploding even with training, after Deku has cultivated the power even more. Also if we think about it OFA has become a quirk only quirkless people can possess and if only 20% of the population is quirkless that might mean that most of those in the 20% are older people since we only saw another young quirkless person (Melissa) meaning that by the time Deku is ready to retire and pass on One for All, the quirkless population will be so low that either they’re no more quirkless people or they’re like 5%.

I actually really really hope that the theory that the last two vestiges are somehow Bakugou and Kirishima are wrong. I really don't like the idea of time travel being in this series somehow and it would make their quirks completely irrelevant if Deku just had a suped up version of them. I had been hoping for an enhanced senses quirk, but the danger sense has that covered. I feel like Deku just needs a directly defensive quirk and a directly offensive quirk now. But both of them should be something pretty minor in their original form. I like the idea of the "offensive" quirk being something like a "flashlight" quirk. It's fairly innocuous, but by being amped up by ofa Deku could use it make laser beams or to do something akin to a dbz style solar flare, or he could even just emit light consistently from his body to make it difficult to look at him and target him accurately. As for the defensive quirk I wouldn't be opposed to something like a Magneto style ability. He could use it to make metal into shields or armor, but he'd still be limited by the inherent durability of whatever he's crafting out of.

I think the biggest reveal about this should be that the 2nd and 3rd users can't be Bakugo and Kirishima. Think about it. This chapter just revealed that quirked individuals can no longer withstand the full brunt of OFA. This means that Midoriya would have to be in a position where he willingly sends Bakugo and Kirishima to the past with the knowledge that they will die before sometime in there mid 30s or sooner (considering the 4th user died at 40 and OFA is much stronger). That and if they both were users Midoriya has Bakugo's quirk which to me would take away a huge chunk of Bakugo's character because Midoriya would have a OFA boosted Explosion making Bakugo much less unique.

yeah this chapter answers some of my questions but, I still want to know why he is able to have all the past successors quirks?
I've commented this before on a video but... but seriously I want to point out again that "if Deku is All for One's son this shows why he may be able to have many quirks without becoming like a nomu. This would mean that genetically his brain has the ability to function at a faster and Higher speeds then others. Maybe this is why One for All is showing everyone's quirk because he has the ability to function with all of them."
Doesn't explain why he gets hurt though. Quirks aren't just a mental thing. They're also a physical thing. A more likely conclusion would have to be Deku himself being a failed Nomu, in actuality, the first. I don't think AFO started creating Nomus before Deku was born, but this itself isn't a solid theory
But it also makes sense that Deku would be his son, if only to make the parallel between him and Shigaraki a bit more prominent. I believe that a manga chapter shows Deku's fear of becoming Shigaraki if All Might wasn't there for him. This would also make the "Little Brother" comment the AFO-controlled Shigaraki made, look like a foreshadowing
The outfit and the hair of the 2nd user look like a adult bakugou, horikoshi knew what he was doing when he drew that the theory might be true or this could be the biggest fake out in mha history that’s why he ain’t show the face😭

I've been debating about it and while I am unsure how I feel about time travel being involved in the series majorly, (It has always been involved minorly since the introduction of Eri) the second user is definitely Bakugo in my opinion. The third may or may not be Kiroshima. If it is Kiroshima; I would love for the theory that he looses to All for One, then gets modified and warped into Giganto Macia. If that all pans out (or even just some of it) then I'm pretty sure with the level of writing Horikoshi has been showing of recent years, tragedy will have to be added to the tags of this series genres.
The fact that if you have a Quirk already shortens your lifespan if you have One for All kinda helps the time travel theory. One of the problems it had was how would both Bakugo and Kirishima die quick enough so that their lifespans don't overlap with the series timeline.
Oh my god! This chapter was insane! The quirkless people have a better chance of inheriting One For All, and Deku may be the last successor of One For All however they said “may be” so there is still a chance the quirk may still be passed on in the future.
Well... Time shall tell. Or when Hirokoshi is interviewed about it & confirms it!

Pretty sure All Might said that his training with Nana Shimura wasn't as rushed as his training with Deku so he could control is about as well as Season 3 Deku. Though he never showed signs of breaking his bones or else there'd be a connection between the two. Then again, a lot of these characters are quite dumb if they haven't seen the way All Might favors Deku before. I think only Tsu and Todoroki have noticed and the others just commented on it offhandedly and nothing else

wait does that mean that mean 5% deku could use the last 4 months is weaker than the 5% he has now and does that also mean the power of ofa gets stronger not by how much people has had it but rather how long it has been about? Also although it was portrayed as a joke but danger sense seems quite sensitive, even alerting the hagake to thigs that wouldn't even be considered attacks and as we know it much more stronger with deku, the 4th user, even if not the primary reason, had to move into the woods alone, it doesn't seem to be able to be turned off

I'm pretty sure it was just his personality that made him leave society, well that and AFO. Uou see that little lightning showing up whenever his quirk activates, if the quirk is indeed an infinite duration then it would've stuck by him whenever but it doesnt. So it's safe to assume that deku wont suffer much from it if he doesn't activate it.
