Deku is falling and AFO pushed him but, what's worst is him abandoning everyone that could help him. Its just like Bakugo said, deku only cares about everyone else forgetting his own safety; even if it breaks him he'll never stop trying to save a life.
Wanna know something sadder if this was Marvel deku would have most likely said Fuck it and kill most villains(accidentally) instead of letting go amd doctor doom would most likely complain about AFO Winning
Remember that nasty wound on All Might's stomach that handicapped the use of OFA? He got that cause he done the same thing Deku is doing now, trying to do everything by himself. History is about to repeat itself.
@AVENGER at this point.... it wasn’t about being a hero anymore by Izuku..... his actions just all amounted due to uncontrollable emotions It isn’t that he’s protecting and avoiding danger It was just that he didn’t want to face the danger and wanted to cooldown and was in a state of near insanity At that point it Deku’s actions couldn’t have been just to become a hero anymore But the fear of losing something, himself and the people around him Bakugou on that note isn’t talking half witted or not being a hero It’s just Bakugou is probably trying to think it through more smartly He doesn’t want to lose his friend and is aware that what Deku was doing was going to set a massive toll on himself Despite Bakugou’s common raged personality I’m sure people are aware he is indeed in-fact cunning, smart and currently possibly more composed than what he used to be before.... (Based of my own observations and understanding, which is completely lacking) -just trying to point out that Deku definitely wasn’t being a hero anymore
Can we just all agree that at this point in My Hero Academia, Happiness doesn’t exist anymore. It’s just like the name of the recent chapter, it’s just scars, blood and mud.
@Icy thot I feel like at some point during the manga and anime when we get to this point all might will be the one to save deku one last time in some way may not be physical maybe so
Some anime fans right now: "Ugh...these arcs are so boring! When are we getting to the good stuff!?" Manga fans: "Trust us you should appreciate these light hearted 'boring' arcs while you can :( Happiness will soon be a stranger" Also I love AFO's twisted answer to 'talk-no-jutsu' being "well I'll just blow them up!"
@@trolllord1501 if he doesn’t even want to kill shiggy I doubt he would kill some random villain (unless it’s by accident somehow) but yeah that would be cool
Deku's costume is also transforming from a "quirky" setup, showing the ideal image of All Might as inspiration, but as he move away from this he becomes more messy looking and there is only remnants of his old costume remain, but he is no longer identifiable as Deku.
Honestly. At first his costume looked silly, but all the damage, the blood and even how Deku carries himself has turned that silly outfit into something intimidating
I get that Midoriya wants to protect Toshinori. But it's hard. Not only the food got wasted, Midoriya hurt Toshinori pretty bad. Even Stain is like "Damn!".
I think the next chapter Stain gonna have a rematch with Deku and then talk it out... what to be a hero? But this is my thoughts n opinion for next chapter
@@buckaroobonsi555 True, but you have to remember that All for One and all the shit he's done is basically forcing Deku to grow up faster than a kid his age should.
@@jackievang1906 People keep saying that, but I honestly have no idea wtf Stain could even do to Deku. Physically he's just an above average human. But Deku can lift several tonnes, sense any danger in his proximity, latch onto and bind whatever he wants, obscure people's vision with smoke, and move at speeds faster than sound. Stain could make short work of most heroes with weaker versions of just one of those quirks, sure. But all of them combined, and on the caliber that they are with Deku? I don't know man.
Deku and All Might's relationship is essential as the heart of MHA, especially in the beginning. It has driven the inspiration of Deku for his hero journey. Seeing how they both saved each other, a bond like father and son. And seeing things like this hurts. I knew the angst was coming, but it came full force in this chapter... my heart. lol Deku and All Might coming in *strong* with the Peter Parker and Uncle Ben vibes -- the angst of where this may lead...
“He doesn’t even look like a hero” reminds me of how hard you can be working towards something, get no credit for it then be brought up all the mistakes you have made in the past.
People seem to think he’s turning into a villain. He’s been under a tremendous amount of stress, and decided to be alone because of it, but I don’t think anything on earth could make him quit being a hero.
People need to get used to the fact that a soft and bubbly Deku is not coming back in the way he was earlier in the series. Even though his classmates will come to help him with the pain and stress he is feeling it doesn’t mean that we will see a happy go lucky Deku ever again. Deku is not naive anymore to think that a smile will save the day. Society is so fickle that they abandon their heroes in the face of this great danger, yet have the audacity to claim Deku doesn’t “look like a hero”?! Who cares about looking like a hero, the people don’t deserve his smile anyway for the way they casted aside their heroes. Deku’s destiny is to clash with AFO in a titanic battle, and with respect to the threat and evil that is AFO, we need a more serious Deku, one that would be willing to put down AFO for good.
I completely agree. I don’t think we’re gonna get that Deku back either and I don’t really mind. I just want him to be okay. The way he’s going right now I see him going berserk and injuring himself beyond repair or dying in the final battle between him, AFO, and shigaraki. I’ve always been kind of glad that he never took on the whole “symbol of peace” image that All Might had going on. His method of saving everyone and thinking that peace was gonna last forever made the people expect too much from heroes and the heroes themselves all looked up to him as someone to always depend on. Now that they’re left to do everything on their own, it seems like the enemy is so much stronger but in reality, the heroes now are just weaker because of that co-dependency. But what Deku’s doing now isn’t much better. Trying to do everything on his own is only making it harder for him. On top of the fact that there’s not much the other heroes can do, he’s pushing away the only people that helped ground him and let him know that someone is always there. And he’s letting the fact that he has 6 quirks go to his head. Even when the previous wielder warned him about how he was gonna use the quirk, he did it anyway and it backfired. That faux “100%” isn’t gonna help him much against AFO and I hope it’s not too late when he realizes. (Sorry for the long comment. Not even sure if it makes sense😭)
It’s true AFO is a being that will only be stopped one way and for that to come true Deku must cross threshold and sadly the only way to do it is to say farewell to the deku we met even IF he were to smile and be happy again it would most likely be like seeing a ghost from the past
He will recover, he always does. Besides, a hero must easen others with a smile, if he can't bring himself to do that anymore, then he will never be the number one hero.
I always loved Deku, his shy and insecure but smart personality was so unique and refreshing to me from a lot of shounen mc, and his development has been freacking amazing like you don't see this kind of development in a shounen mc, but at the same time it's depressing as hell seing my boy this broken and the worst part is that AFO probably hasn't even fully toyed with Deku yet, he's definitly toying with his food just like he did with All might and the rest of the OFA users.
Eren from AOT was great to watch tho he descended into madness but that not who we fell in love with. Eren is like heisenberg from breaking bad to where we watched him fall but still felt for Walter white. Deku is more like jax from sons of anarchy he is the hero always and we are always rooting g for him but he is having to do horrible things to protect the ones he loves. Which is a harder protagonist because we know hes pure and it what hes doing is for the right reasons but ultimately only causing pain and hardship
As all might stated "without sacrifices you never become a true hero" deku might be dark and trying to shoulder all burden. He will never stop saving people. A real definition of a hero.
Deku is starting to experience the dark side of being a hero, the dirt, the grime behind the scenes that the public doesn’t see past the cool poses and glory. Deku is becoming the Batman of the BNHA as he is sinking deeper into the shadows of being a hero
That's the thing....When Deku told Eri that her quirk is not a curse but a blessing it felt so emotional cause it's the same thing Deku tells himself everyday at times probably even Almight thought OFA is a curse bur Deku never think that he thinks that OFA is the blessing he needs to achive his dreams and probably that's why my boi will complete OFA that quirk will be truly his
I think deku’d story from starting as someone who had no quirk and scared to someone who will do whatever it takes to save someone and how strong he is one of my favorite stories
Who could of imagine that Izuku is turning himself as a villain without being a villain. Sort of like a Anti-hero or a anti-villain. It’s really sad to see Izuku like this. I Can’t shake the feeling that something bad is going happened...
Deku is almost dead in the eye with no smile. The only to bring that is to have him say “I am HERE” but that can only happen when he reunites with his friends specially Uraraka, Bakugo, and Iidea
Nana abandoned her son, and her son died in the process. Toshinori abandoned Nighteye, and Nighteye died in the process. Midoriya abandoned All Might, and All Might will die in the process. T_T.
Remember when this used to be a silly anime about a boy trying to get through superhero school while breaking every bone in his body? Good times, huh? Also, Midoriya legit looked like a demon from hell in this chapter. Can you imagine what this scene will look like animated?
Honestly, I'm expecting it to look worse. There's a certain type of visceral rawness that Horikoshi's art always manages to convey in these scenes. In the anime, unless they really go all out with the art 24/7, they'll probably keep their smoother lines and shading like the anime normally has. For scenes like this, I find that kind of stuff doesn't work nearly as well.
How did Deku’s dorky, all might inspired, bunny looking costume become devilish. I think it’s a really cool way of showing his shift but kinda impressive they could make the original costume look entirely different
Honestly I was waiting for this. Even before everything went to hell I knew that deku would one day reach the point where he feels completely stressed out with too many fires to put out. All for one just accelerated the time frame. The manga art on demon deku though is simply sublime. His frayed clothing, broken arm bracers and black whip make him look absolutely sinister. But yeah at this point while I love deku’s development I really hope the man gets a ducking break because he needs it.
I truly love how much Mt. Lady has changed. When she first showed up in the first episode, she was one those people who became a hero for fun and for their own pleasure. But as time went on, she took the job of a hero more seriously and I love how she hasn't given up on being a hero and decided to help deku.
Right? Underneath the shell of a woman who wanted to be rich and famous for being a hero, was an actual hero who wanted to do good for those around her. And that shell has cracked open and fallen off.
What are you taking about? We never got her personality from the early chapters getting to know her. We've just got to get to know her. I don't see character development as much as we are getting more knowledge of characters we knew nothing about.
Theory: Deku distancing himself from All Might will lead to Nighteye's prophecy. Deku will get his fire back, to avenge All Might. To carry on the legacy.
Bro when this point in the story is animated, there are gonna be some tears. Manga is good at some things, but the anime…. It can really hit hard. Because anime has voice acting, and score. And they say you use those, can be heart wrenching.
Yeah when we get to this point in the anime probably in the next season it's going to look freaking amazing hard strings going to be pulled you'll be edge of your seat maybe literally maybe not can't wait to see
Death arms was really one of the first heroes we saw and the one who berated Deku for trying to be hero, now Deku facing the challenges head on while Death arms just quit, I hope we get an interaction between them
@Selcouth Jesus, thinking about it, their characters are surprisingly comparable. Simple enough for a kid to think of it, but it's still there. They're wimpish protagonists who slowly go to the dark side, becoming more and more serious.
I think death arms also feels guilty since he was the first one to yell at deku, for doing something a hero was meant to do. Now deku was the one who protected people. Death arms sees a child who carries the burden that the heroes were suppose to. A child seeing the true horror of being a hero against villains.
Not sure if anyone realized it, but MHA focuses on characters hope through their eyes. the series started with big eyes deku and even in S4 with muscle boi fight, when deku was about to give up hope, his eyes lit up again with the heroic spark. now, in the most recent chapter you only see the shadow of a barely visible pupil and when walking away in the last page, his eyes are no where to be seen
Deku still has the heart of a hero, but his demeanor and actions reminds me of a villain... a villain like Stain, or for a better term, turning into an anti-hero, and that last panel proves it. His desires to beat All For One and Shigaraki are overpowering all other thoughts; it has gotten to the point where he literally left All Might in the dust, leaving his classmates behind, leaving the school he so desired to enter, all because of the amount of burden he is putting on himself - he's strangling himself at this rate! I get his rationale, he doesn't want other people in since he is basically the only one who can actually beat AFO and Shigs but he doesn't even realize the pain and harm he is causing to the others around him and himself, he is falling into tunnel vision to beat AFO and I honestly think that is his plan. I think AFO WANTS to break Deku like this to cause him to snap, and what better way to do this is to kill All Might right? Thanks for listening to my little rant.
I think you got it all wrong, Deku ain't anything close to an anti hero, Deku's being realistic that's all, but he isn't rejecting the help of other heroes, only All Might as he's the most vulnerable one, imo Deku understood that he needs to be this symbol of terror to scare away the villains, basically Batman but less brutal, as Deku ain't beating villains to near death or breaking their bones, when Deku talked to the predecessors while in coma, he was still the same guy as always, a full fleshed heroe, his mentality haven't changed in that regard, he still wants to find a way to save Shigaraki (I definitely see inspirations from Avatar) without killing him, but I do get the point that if All Might died, Deku would definitely lose it, just like he lose it when Shigarki stabbed Bakugo who didn't even died, that's one of Deku's worst flaws
@@josuegarro5437 exactly Deku before was always side tracking so close to the end goal but teetering on it, now he's straight to the point although he lowkey will have a screwed up mental in the aftermath of the AFO and Shigs (if he does survive.)
MHA fandom a years ago: Deku is a weak protagonist, he is too soft and is always crying instead of actually doing something useful😤 Fandom Now: I miss the times when deku was softer and smiled more😢 I would say y’all do not know what you want but then I’d be hypocritical 💔😭
I like both Deku's. Not early season 1 Deku, but since season 2 and beyond Deku has been great. This Deku is probably my favorite though. I love myself a good old damaged and emotionally stagnant protagonist.
I agree that everyone gets punished for their misdeeds. For example, All Might has to watch Deku go at this all alone and make his presence known that "he is here". All that pressure on Deku has had great effect, as well as watching everyone that he cares about end up in situations where they almost die. So in a sense, all might has to watch someone he deeply cares about and go off and be alone due to all the pressure that he put on him at the beginning of the series. What I'm scared of is this: we've already had three fake out deaths within the last few chapters. All Might almost dying, Lady Nagant (sp?) almost dying, and each of the heroes from last chapter almost dying. I don't think there will be another almost death right after this. I'm just scared that Toshinori might die almost as like a karma punishment towards Deku for saying and acting such ways. Almost like the universe is saying, "You want to be alone? Now you are." And I'm emotionally not ready for that. Especially since Toshinori is my favorite character.
This is exactly what I suspect. The author is setting Deku up in a situation where he did the one thing he never wanted to do, tell of all might, and then he's never gonna get to take it back. It's scary that it might happen tbh :(
It's most likely going to happen, but I hope it doesn't. It'll be the eye opener for Deku that he shouldn't be completely neglecting the ones who care for him.
A darker Deku is what we needed. He’s been through more shit than anyone his age should go through and to be honest I think Deku is going to die or be even more mentally scarred.
@@hannahettinger9088 just because you stopped AFO and those in front of you doesn’t make you the greatest hero. It makes you an efficient hero and durable force of nature
It honestly broke my heart to see that one of the first pro heroes we ever saw since the series began, had given up hope and hung up his costume. Not because deatharms was weak willed or was only in it for fame and glory like the others, but because the overwhelming negative criticism was too much to bear any longer. Something that is very relatable and can happen to those in real life, for those who have jobs that expose them to social opinions. I can also tell that mount lady seeing her good friend and coworker she worked alongside with give up must’ve really hardened her will and broke her heart. It’s honestly shocking that this serious and badass woman I saw in this chapter; was the same comical glory hog we saw in the beginning of MHA. It truly shows how not only the main characters, but also the side characters change and develop as well. I just hope we eventually see deatharms regain his hope and return to being a pro hero once again.
I predicted this last week about dark Deku. In this chapter it’s hinted that a mentor or someone that can help you emotionally will help you through being the best hero you can be. With Danger Sense not going off, I feel like Stain will be able to see Deku’s struggle and offer guidance to him. I’m really curious on how Deku’s classmates will act toward him. Also that question that Toga asked Uraraka in the war, I’m curious if this Deku will have the same answer or will he still be that good hero and give her a great answer?
That's a good theory. I'm also expecting a Stain and Deku interaction once again. Even if it starts off between Stain and All Might. Also in terms of his class mates i think they may come in the chapter after the next but it will start of with them discussing the letters they were sent by Deku. Bakugo may explain it and then Ida or Uraraka will suggest they go after him. Even if it means that they have to break the rules. Deku will swoop in and it can go from there
I agree with all of this. Besides, All Might was supposed to talk to Stain in Tarturus, but with everything that happened and all that is happening now, he never got the chance to do so. Now's a good a chance as any.
It was already Bad enough for Izuku to leave U.A and his friends especially Ochako behind to stop All for One and shigaraki but Now he leaves All Might behind??? Man All for One is literally The Devil for All of this Hell he unleashed upon Japan and it's heroes. Imagine if he succeeds, he'll spread this across the world
I think it's needed tho, you need to lose everything in life and struggle in order to understand everything around you, or atleast the things you encounter. He wouldn't have grown if he stayed in U.A. or with all might. This is what it means to come of age, he will HAVE to leave because the black and white perception of hero and villain wasn't going to cut it, it's not all mights age anymore. Endeavor was a hero yet he was an abusive ass father and toxic as hell but people still respected him regardless because he's a "hero". You can be surrounded by people but only you will be able to deal and understand your burdens
Remember when this story was about life at a school of superpowers, kids having dreams to become heroes and casual classes and training + an awesome sports festival and inner school festival? yeah, good times... 😔 "I hope your'e celebrating while you can All Might. Because very soon, this temporary peace will come to a violent end!" We had no idea how true those words were.. 😢😭
My prediction:All might will die saving deku, his last words being "Never Fear For I Am Here" either saving deku from all for one or some other villain. Going out like a true hero, moving before he can think, living up to his words of self sacrifice. It's the only way I can see this ending.
All Might can no longer watch over Deku... Is it Stain's turn to show the boy the way forward? If this young, fallen hero wishes to sail the wicked and haunted seas that exist beyond his world's end, then Deku is gonna need a captain who knows those waters...
I was really sad when I read this chapter. First, I wanted to see how everyone escaped from that explosion. Feels like a cop out. Also, Deku abandoning All Might like that is what hurt me the most. I think he did it because he doesn't want All Might to die and All Might being around all these dangerous people coming after Deku may lead to that. But All Might is right, Deku needs to rest for a bit. I'm honestly predicting that the heroes do call for help from the rest of Class 1A just to try and get Deku back to being himself. I can imagine Ochaco finally catching up with him and just slapping him for abandoning everyone who's trying to help him.
So Ochaco and the others are going to leave the dorms eventually...right? Izuku's so goal oriented that he's not stopping to rest or eat. I'm not going to lie, he didn't have to let the lunch go to waste. He could have taken it and left all dark and brooding. The fact that people see him and wonder if he's like afo or is a nomu, because of how rough he looks, the intensity in his eye, even though he's there to help saying "I've heard he's covered in scars, blood, and mud!!" is worrisome. I'm guessing a reunion with villains he's faced in the past may also lead him back to the light...and maybe a clash with Stain will motivate him. Because Stain may be crazy, but he's not wrong about the hero world, there are fakes who barely do anything and just want the fame. He chose to save Izuku, because he saw him like Nagant saw him even when he was ordered by Shigaraki to kill him he saw his potential to be a true hero.
Loving the character development, every hero must go through the travel to find their own self, we must appreciate the balls and vision any writer to do an arc like this.
Gonna be real wit y’all. My heart sunk when he said he didn’t need All Might. It’s not just because he wants to protect his mentor, I think Deku is on the exact path of stain. It almost feels like he’s after All for One for revenge. It doesn’t feel like he’s fighting for a noble cause anymore. I really hope Shoto or one of the classmates come to his rescue. Deku needs a hero bad. Last chapter I said I liked the dark Deku but I never thought he’d want to leave all mights side. Pretty amazing tho he can achieve 100 percent now, well atleast that’s what he is claiming. Idk I’m worried. This chapter really put concern into me
He also said you dont need to worry about me anymore, hes pushing all might away cuz after lady nagant 1 more death and he will break hes already at that point but he just needs 1 more setback now. It also parralels to the scene of nighteye trying to stop all might in the hospital but all might needed to be a hero and pushed him away
@@sidharthakarsh5833 but All Mights knows how bad it affected their relationship. Ugh I just don’t like seeing Deku suffering like this. It’s like what nighteye said about all might. If you keep this up, you’ll suffer an unimaginable death. Obviously we know Deku will become the greatest hero but Horikoshi def got me wondering how lol. I’d love to see Bakugo just blow up some sense into him. Deku is going a little too Batman. He needs to remember that fighting alone, he can’t be saved himself.
I don't believe deku is turning evil, I think horikoshi wouldn't make deku become a villain all of a sudden. Deku is simply caving from the pressure put on him, and him damaging his body for others without break. It's also not helping that he's away from his friends
He’s not a villain just driven by serious purpose. Think about the responsibility he has now, basically the only power strong enough to stop AFO and save his mom, friends, and everyone. He doesn’t want to lose them. That’s a stressful situation for a kid no less
But he will lose everyone if he keeps shutting then out. Sir nighteye tried to help all might, but he keeps ignoring him and air night eye ended up dead in the process. If deku keeps pushing everyone away then it will be worse.
Damn this is scary. I can see why Deku would put everything on his shoulders to protect everyone but as Ururaka once said, who protects the heroes when they’re hurting. I know it wouldn’t only be Ururaka but I’d like to see her lower his guard down and bring him back to where he was mentally and emotionally.
I think even uraraka and class 1-A will have a hard time to bring him back to his senses, because he is just so stressed out and sleep deprived. He has a lot of pressure in him.
@Pedro Ortega Her saving him would be a huge death flag for her. AfO will definitely take note and target her just to break Deku. I hope Deku is strong enough to protect her if that happens...
Am I the only one who’s sad about Death Arms quitting? I mean he was another of the first heroes in episode 1 and was Mt Lady’s team or something, he was in the sports festival and caught Slidin Go, he isn’t a big character buts it’s probably only me
@@DiogoJ1 stain's logic is always gonna be twisted but he is right about one thing. Being a hero in the hero society are always considered a job. Fame, money and all other perks of being a hero, who doesn't want to be a hero? It's one of the most stable jobs in the hero society. But people who always want these petty things, are always gonna break. The title of being a "hero" is just given because it's a "job". It's considered a job. But All Might's view of being a hero is what it's supposed to be. Not just for money, stability, or fame. It's for saving people, not just winning against the bad guys. Endeavor would have been a great example but he did found his purpose as to why he's doing it. Its not about being number 1 anymore. The same thing can be said about Bakugo.
That scene where All Might falls while chasing Deku, definitely made my heart drop. Didn't expect that from Hero Academia, so that was hard to swallow. Horikoshi-san depicted a very good scene of what it would show and feel and it strikes you down *hard.*
You know what makes this worse. That in the end, with the news coverage and all the pictures and videos that were most likely taken of Deku, imagine how his class will react. Imagine Todoroki, Ochako, hell even Bakugou.
I'm heartbroken. I do feel like Deku is playing into All for one's hand. This man loves playing games. And the boy is falling hard as fuck. It was amazes me that Deku could tell Allmight, his idol, to not worry or stop following him. Screams red flags. He needs to chill. I'm interested in what Stain has to say about it. Maybe, he'll show Deku so tricks. Give intel.
I agree, after all they were colleagues that worked closely, behaved similarly and were rivals in a way, I'm sure she was a bit of a mentor to her. It'd be like how All Might dying or Bakugou dying would end up affecting Deku. In fact I can imagine the ones who were hurt more than Mt. Lady by it were Aizawa and Yamada and then the students of course

@@ZayOsirisGaming or possibly stain. We literally see him at the end of the chapter approaching all might. Given that we haven't seen the UA students for a while, except for the text and call shoto gave in this very chapter, we can probably rule the students out as possible candidates, unless we see one of them getting closer in a certain chapter.
This chapter honestly made me tear up. I didn't start feeling emotional when Nighteye died or when Midnight was found dead. While I felt sad about their deaths, I didn't feel like crying. But to see Deku leave behind his role model and fatherly figure hurts far more. All Might is essentially the only semblance of normality he has left in his life at the moment since All Might has consistently always been there for him. While I understand Deku is parting from All Might for his safety, it still hurts to see Deku leave behind his mentor.
This chapter definitely shows that MHA is not your typical shonen. It is a masterpiece, one of the greatest out there. I know it’s going to be in a while but I can’t wait to see this arc in anime. Deku always had the support of friends and mentors but now he has pushed everyone away for their own safety. He’s gonna go full Vigilante from now on and the reunion with his classmates in the future is gonna be epic or reaaaaally sad !

The black wips around him on the last page seems to be supporting his body, for he is not really able to walk propely without it. If thats the case, damn... Take a break, boy :c
Either way, i can't wait to see Stain and Deku talking again and it was EPIC to know that he can use 100% OFA even though he may take external damage (kind of/maybe not anymore)
@@ihavenolife3117 been talking about it ever since the first chapter after Deku woke up from his discussion with the users of OFA. So this is exciting to see how it progresses, especially with a direct interaction with Stain once again. I won't even mind this time if there isn't much combat again because Deku needs further development. Kind of a stepping stone to climb from rock bottom
He still can only use 45%, He use pseudo 100% OFA with the help of 3rd quirk "fa jin" so he can mimic 100% OFA without using 100% OFA itself just like in deku vs lady nagant chapter
@@yoyok7609 it wasn't made clear in this chapter. Yes we saw that in the fight with Lady Nagant but in this instance i don't think it can only be that. AFO doesn't underestimate Deku so he wouldn't just send anyone to assassinate him. It would have to be someone really powerful and Deku beat him almost instantaneously. Sure Deku probably used the Pseudo 100% but the translation didn't make that clear so i wouldn't be 100% determined that it's only Pseudo 100%
Something keeps bothering me, in all honesty. This reminds me of when All Might left Nighteye, then returned when he was passing on. For some reason, I keep thinking that the same thing might happen with All Might. Where, yeah, Deku’s leaving him to protect him, but also thinking about it, All Might really doesn’t have any form of way to protect himself anymore. With Deku leaving him, it makes me think that if anyone is putt off guard, there’s a chance that All Might could end up dying, by the hands of a villain.
All Might did defeat those 2 villains sent after him before somehow. Being around Deku who actively has assassins sent after him is also extremely dangerous though.
@@pepsi-4275 I know, but also if he’s left alone, some villains might see that as an opportunity to go after him. But, yeah, being around Deku is also a risk, I guess, as well. But, right now, he doesn’t have much defenses to protect himself, and if everyone’s busy and their guard goes down, people might see it as an opportunity. Especially considering AFO wants to break Deku’s spirit, and one way he could possibly do that is by killing the person Deku looks up to and cares for, not just as a mentor but also like a father figure. That’s why I was worrying, tbh.
@@pepsi-4275 Also, yeah, he did stop the 2 that came after him before, but he isn’t as strong as he once was. He’s more vulnerable now, more than ever, in his weak state. So, there’s still a possibility he could die by the hands of a villain, or even AFO himself, if everyone’s put off guard.
@@Lukie2131 I don’t think it’s typically him going crazy, but rather he sees leaving All Might as a form of keeping him protected from Assassins, since most of them are after Deku. I think at the time what was going thru his head was that with All Might being vulnerable, and him being around Deku with all these Assassins and AFO after him, that he’d be in more danger than not be close to him. So, as an act of trying to save or protect him in his own way, he told him to leave him alone, basically. The problem is tho, even when All Might isn’t around Deku, AFO or just Villains in general look for possible opportunities to still gl after All Might. So either way, he’s in danger.
the outside is starting to mirror the inside. Deku is slowly going insane because of all that is on his shoulders. He reminds me of Percy Jackson. They both have the same fatal flaw of personal loyalty. Deku has taken the role of a leader in a war he never wanted to fight in. With everyone looking towards him for guidance and strength, He cant allow himself to cry; to look weak. He has to keep everything inside. the only difference is that Percy didn't push his friends and family away. Deku pushed his friends away to keep them safe. the tie for his friends to stand by him is coming very soon, I can feel it. If Deku's friends cant save him, then no one can.
Present Deku also reminds me of Steven Universe. He has the exact same situation growing up to a teen. He tries to help everyone amd understands everyone, but when it comes to understanding him, he pushes everyone away and breaks. I think in future chapters Deku is going to break apart and explode. And it's going to be a spectacular sight.
Deku is inspired in a way by spider man/ venom. Creator of MHA has said, thus mostly all his powers are kinda spidey like. Spider sense (3rd quirk if I'm not mistaken) Venom like symbiote powers (black whip)
Even overwhelming negative criticism has a degree of value. Assimilate it as fuel to the passion to create. Art (entertainment) is an odd thing.turn passion to art and whether it evokes a negative or positive response; it fuels thought, feeling and response. That is the truest form of art.... to inspire no matter the connotation.
Me as a very young manga reader , some of these “small” retirements and quits by these hero’s we know and love ❤️ really hits hard on me and some of these new character developments are good and sad and making me heart melt and break.Thank you for making these videos for us.😊(sorry for my grammar mistakes)
I really am getting a bad feeling about things to come. I hope that Stain is simply the one to remind Deku what it means to be a hero but I feel the message may have to be beaten into him with All Might’s death. When that comes, it won’t be a fun chapter.
@@theanimerapper6351 if that happened that would just destroy me and so many readers, seeing the main character beat up his friends from what he thinks is the best solution that's going to be so sad
I nearly cried when All Might and Deku spoke in this chapter and seeing Deku’s terrifying appearance. Horikoshi is one of the best storytellers I have encountered and I can’t wait to see where this story goes.
The panel with Dekus face looks absolutely amazing. It looks like a twisted version of All Migts glorious smile. And specially when he looked back at All Might you can clearly see the pain in his eyes.
My prediction is that Deku will figth All for one and All Might will be watching on TV when he sees he's not going to win he goes to eraser head whit Eri and gets his old body back, then he proceeds to go to battle and he gets deku out of there whit an inch of his life but he figth All for one and dies
I'm all for dark deku. Like Jesus that art is fucking out of this world. But yes i agree my feelings have been beaten, by a dead horse being beaten. Like bro the part where all might dropped his food, my heart bro. God this is my favourite story of all time seriously, you cant not love it.
Ik right? It’s a really good amount of GOOD writing, amazing world, and well-written characters that are pretty diverse and have their own lives and goals. I get attached to the side characters. recently I’ve been emotionally drained, especially after deku rejected all might. You pretty much said it.
The ending page for this chapter was incredible. When reading this i thought this is Demon Deku but regardless he looked bad ass and Black Whip especially made this even cooler although i wonder if he is still talking to the previous users of OFA
As evedent by eri
Remember that nasty wound on All Might's stomach that handicapped the use of OFA?
He got that cause he done the same thing Deku is doing now, trying to do everything by himself.
History is about to repeat itself.
When did Bakugo say that 😮😮
@AVENGER at this point.... it wasn’t about being a hero anymore by Izuku..... his actions just all amounted due to uncontrollable emotions
It isn’t that he’s protecting and avoiding danger
It was just that he didn’t want to face the danger and wanted to cooldown and was in a state of near insanity
At that point it Deku’s actions couldn’t have been just to become a hero anymore
But the fear of losing something, himself and the people around him
Bakugou on that note isn’t talking half witted or not being a hero
It’s just Bakugou is probably trying to think it through more smartly
He doesn’t want to lose his friend and is aware that what Deku was doing was going to set a massive toll on himself
Despite Bakugou’s common raged personality I’m sure people are aware he is indeed in-fact cunning, smart and currently possibly more composed than what he used to be before....
(Based of my own observations and understanding, which is completely lacking)
-just trying to point out that Deku definitely wasn’t being a hero anymore
Can we just all agree that at this point in My Hero Academia, Happiness doesn’t exist anymore.

Deku and All Might's relationship is essential as the heart of MHA, especially in the beginning. It has driven the inspiration of Deku for his hero journey. I agree.
It’s what Endeavor is facing now if you think about it. He is an extremely good parallel for Bakugo, yes, but for Deku too. Maybe

You got my respect

Facts. Deku is actually pretty unique but people call him generic just for being nice 🗿

Thanks for listening to my little rant.
more like a vigilante

Well I know one thing deku is like so much stronger than bakugo honestly I think bakugo's gonna be scared of HIM

just like AFO knew he would!!!

Sorry, but the truth hurts.
This chapter really put concern into me
He can achieve PSEUDO 100% through the use of Fajin.
Pretty sure he meant 100% as in what was showed in two chapters ago, that he used fa-Jin + 45% OFA to get power similar to 100% OFA
That’s what I meant lol. The makeshift 100 percent
He also said you dont need to worry about me anymore, hes pushing all might away cuz after lady nagant 1 more death and he will break hes already at that point but he just needs 1 more setback now. But people who always want these petty things, are always gonna break. The title of being a "hero" is just given because it's a "job". It's considered a job.

All Might can't fight. He's quirkless.
@@brutalman8438 He has it but at this points its like a tiny spark thats why he was able to use it for 3 seconds after the All for one figth
@@brutalman8438 all users never lose the quirk: they just lose its effectiveness. That’s why it can never be passed and regained
This is a legit theory
Deku was wearing his mask, but I'm sure he was crying underneath.
Also Deku vs Stain rematch?
I'm all for dark deku. Like Jesus that art is fucking out of this world. But yes i agree my feelings have been beaten, by a dead horse being beaten. Like bro the part where all might dropped his food, my heart bro. God this is my favourite story of all time seriously, you cant not love it.
Ik right? It’s a really good amount of GOOD writing, amazing world, and well-written characters that are pretty diverse and have their own lives and goals. I get attached to the side characters. recently I’ve been emotionally drained, especially after deku rejected all might. You pretty much said it.
I feel like this chapter was a tribute to Berserk mangaka,
R.I.P. Miura in all our hearts! ♥️
The ending page for this chapter was incredible. When reading this i thought this is Demon Deku but regardless he looked bad ass and Black Whip especially made this even cooler although i wonder if he is still talking to the previous users of OFA
