Imagine you're practicing serves on a court, and homeboy in blue rolls up and asks if you want to hit. And he doesn't necessarily look like he balls so you're like, Okay. And then you get absolutely rolled.

I believe the commenter is stating he’ll beat most club level players which I agree with. 5.0 is a small league in Atlanta- not nearly as many players at 5.0 as there are in the other levels. Blue wins a lot- 76 wins at the time of this posting (he may have more now). How many people do you know have more than 70 wins at their respective tennis level after a few years?

Very well rounded and although he’s likely carrying a lot more weight now, he’s still light on his feet and really shows you how top players don’t get lazy and are constantly balanced, shuffling, and splitting.
I agree. Watching blue is like watching a ‘textbook on how to correctly hit all your shots’ come to life. It’s amazing. We are planning to get more video of him soon.

This is terrible, 95% of their shots are from the baseline, it's basically passing the ball back and forth until someone misses and the baseline player is almost always using the inferior 2hbh which is the only thing 2hbh' can do, they are useless rushing to the backhand side to the net, they cannot volley, they cannot reach a wide shot, they cannot drop shot from the backhand side using 2hbh, it's an inferior stroke, but if you have todays robotic boring predictable game of standing on the baseline you will see it every single time.
Blue hit on the rise and employed excellent cross court angles but orange didn't exploit blue's size and needed to be a little more creative, thank you for this, splendid amateur tennis. Gordon
Blue is amazing. It was tough to control blue's shots as they are fast and with heavy spin. Thank you for your suggestion. I need to do more against a better player.
You can't, blue is controlling the point from the start on every forehand, slice bh is good enough to be neutral so no Tennis Troll can't dictate. He's playing a guy that is closer to 5.5
I love when you play this guy. His game is so fluid and he's naturally gifted. I had to work so hard for my stiff looking game and he makes it look so easy.
Randomly clicked on this video and recognized blue shirt. Played 5.0 dubs against him (I'm a 4.5 at best but playing with a good partner, we're both in college) last week. Absolute beast, wasn't breaking a sweat. The amount of kick and sidespin on his serve was insane, set up so many easy balls for his partner. Feel and technique at net was impeccable. Watching this I'm pretty proud of the few baseline to baseline points I won against him.
Welcome to the channel! Blue shirt is amazing as you said. He hits a heavy, fast paced ball that's difficult to adjust to. Thank you for sharing your experience. It's cool to hear an opponent's perspective.
This former Division 1 is the player who impressed me the most in Troll Channel. Big serve, big forehand, great technique, heavy and fast balls. Extrene hard tennis player to play against.
Dude in blue is a great player that has developed excellent mechanics and kinetic chain. He's not fast, but as others have noted, he moves well. I am a 48 yr old mostly 4.5 with a few stints at 5.0 and in my experience I don’t pay so much attention to “former D1” or former whatever, as you get older things start to even out. Lot of factors include fitness and current level of play and competition. I’ve seen plenty of former college players that are not that good and I’ve see plenty of nobodies that kick ass. Just keep working on your game and don’t rest on past laurels. Thanks for the videos
he is a former futures main draw. big difference from former d1. u can see the crispness and explosiveness. tennis is a fitness game if u dont have strokes
"He qualified for the main draw at 2 ATP Future tournaments" That right there tells me all I need to know. Getting past 3 matches in the qualies is not something to take lightly and he did it twice ?!?!
He's not trolling, the draw to these qualies for the Futures (10k or 15k tournies) are littered w inexperienced wannabes, jr's and prospective college prospects testing the waters and or paid their entrance fee or were invited. Anyone w a collegiate career or a couple of years on tour should be able to tear through them, 3rd round of qualies a different story that's where you'll be tested if you're hovering between 5.0 trying to be 6.0 level.
people really don't get the pace, direction, and spin from just watching unless they really know what to look for. looks alot different in video than on the court! dude is a baller
My hometown has a guy that's almost 60 that's so much like this guy in blue. He was a divison 1 player as well in college. He simply beats everyone. I feel honored when he asks to play (stomp) me and I just hit 30.
You don't see an inside out fearhand that clean at the club level too often, that one at 2:41 is disgusting! Smart player that guy in blue, very winning style of play, knows how to win points. You did a good job too your serve has really solidified lately.
I still remember the 2:41 shot...I was not expecting that. I agree. Blue is incredible. Thanks for noticing how intelligent blue is- there’s a reason he can hit the shots he hits. Thanks for noticing my serve- the rust is coming off slowly : ]
Blue loved that pattern when he would take his forehand to your backhand starting with depth...and when you gave him a shorter ball he used more angle from his forehead to your backhand...then next opportunity he would rip a winner to your forehand or sometimes back to your backhand. He took totally control with that pattern. He has great strokes, patience, and great knowledge of how to construct points
There was nothing I could do to counter his shots. He was too good for me. He's style and technique are amazing. He devastated every short ball I hit to him.
The guy in the blue is great. I’m #1-ranked in my age in my section and I don’t know if I’d beat him. Fantastic control and enough power. I’d say he’s a UTR 10. I’m a UTR 9.
You have a really nice game, thanks for the upload. I think you could see some nice improvement if you focus on urgency in your recovery steps after a groundstroke. The footwork from the splitstep to the shot is great, but the recovery steps between your shots and the splitstep could use some work. Not just to help recovering defensively to a neutral position either, but being in a better position to punish short balls as well.
@Keshav Sundar the joke was about norrie losing to this 5.5. i was just saying to the joke that it would have been funnier with someone like tsitsipas lost to him. you must be fun at parties.
The guy in blue has some serious talent. His forehand is lethal, his backhand is solid, he volleyed well, against a guy like this you have to be willing to go up the line more on both sides to make him move to open up the cross court. Also, short and low followed by deep to make him move a bit more, preferably trying that on his backhand side when he isn't already in that corner ready to hit an inside out forehand. Also, a good offensive lob when he is close to the net as I can't see him backing up that fast. Finally, if he is hitting with heavy topspin, he needs some time taken away from him by trying to take his ball more on the rise and staying closer to the baseline. You were so far back it was difficult to get the ball out of the center. Regardless, that forehand he has is just awesome. Very smart player.
You make excellent points. Thank you for sharing them. I have to take more risks against better players. Thank you for suggestions. I’ll try it next time. However, if I make mistake (which is evident in video), blue makes me pay with that forehand. It’s an awesome forehand as you said.
@@TennisTrollChannel the only way to improve is to force yourself out of your comfort zone. Take the ball earlier without backing up as much will hurt in the short term, but help a lot in the long term. Work on moving forward. That's much easier to do when you aren't all the way back deep. I'm 50, was a 4.5-5.0 most of my life, but my flat game drives a lot of the modern players crazy because I rob them of time. I also change the pace a lot and go up the lines with different spins...but I try to stay as close to the baseline as I can as taking it on the rise and learning swing volleys is critical :).
I will give it a try. Agassi was amazing and hugging the baseline. Thank you for suggestion. I too don’t like people who hit flat also. watched it twice. First watch: I was amazed at blue shirt's hands and finishing points with the forehand. quite a few oooh and aaah moments for sure. really nice looking game with good mechanics, plus he knows where to be with some good footwork most times, despite his size. it makes for a fun play style to watch! watching it the second time, it's more evident that orange shirt didnt move him around as much as he should. easier said than done? definitely. Regardless, thanks for posting!
PLRNZOO thank you for the feedback and suggestion. It was difficult to move blue around for me. He hits such a fast and heavy ball. I was trying keep it in until I got used to his ball speed and spin. Unfortunately that never happened.

@@TennisTrollChannel I havent played since my last post. Hoping to hit with my father this weekend in clay, then back to matches next week. I was in a nice rythm of playing, hate when I go more than a week without playing...
Great match, Atlanta has so much tennis talent . I am only 3.5 but can't you use more drop shots to move him around? He hardly has to move. Also, try to make some videos on clay courts, clay matches are more interesting at this level.
Great suggestion on drop shots. His ball is very heavy (a lot of spin). It's harder to control but I will try more drop shots in future. It makes sense. I like your idea of using clay courts - we'll video the next match on clay.
He's pretty good at the net. Might be embarassing if you don't set it up right. Also I've seen some of these guys play live. The camera angle doesn't really show how heavy the balls are being hit. The arc and pace is a lot more impressive from the side for sure. I second (Third?) the clays courts idea
You is correct with the camera. Some asked why I didn’t make blue run more. His ball is so fast and heavy I was struggling to control it. It’s tough to come to net against a fast, dipping ball. I did a video on clay yesterday. Once edits are done, I’ll post it- aiming for Saturday morning. Thank you for the clay suggestion and sharing your thoughts. I enjoy your comments.
Great match and so glad you’re sharing you videos! All of us can learn a lot from this at any level. You have a similar serve to Becker, Monfis, and Roddick. You can improve this aspect and use it as a weapon as all of em has. Maybe more leg bend, toss closer to the Net and thrust toward the ball with your legs and more wrist snap. You prob know this already and your prob keeping it consistent since you’re playing a match but it’s great to get a free point here and there!! 👍👍
Blue has excellent form with his serve. It looks so smooth. In today’s game, free points are crucial. I agree. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and comment- they are excellent.
He’s a great player. I subscribe to his videos. I have received a couple requests from others with same idea. I think iRacer lives near Washington DC Area and I’m in Atlanta so not sure if it will happen. However, I am in the road a lot. If my travels takes me to his area in future, I’ll reach out to iRacer.
What blows my mind is that he makes so many super aggressive shots. Paints quite a few lines he really has no business going for. It's interesting to see how much variety there is at "5.0" etc. Great variety and consistency to go along with those snipes.
would you agree with me that your approach shot @0:53 was lazy? i do that a lot too and i'm trying to just hit groundstrokes instead of slice shots when i have alot of time and its not needed.
Indecisive may be a better way to describe. I wanted to hit a drop shot, but his ball stayed low. I was expecting it to pop up. I changed my mind and it was a disaster. Should’ve hit a drop shot. But you is correct, there are times I do get lazy or lose focus and waste opportunities. Thank you for excellent question.
@@TennisTrollChannel ah gotcha...yeah i think there are a lot of opportunities most people just hit a passive shot back on a slow weak shot instead of an decisive shot or drive.
hi man, first congrats for your tennis and your matches! really interesting to watch :) recorded matches are good to watch yourself playing this sport and improve what you can do better. I'm a first degree coach in my country (Italy, just to say) and, if you want, i can talk to you some tip for optimize your winning conditions during match like this. Very important is your footwork, you are often too much static and you are against a really good corners-shooter, you need to move better your feet to reach the ball. Other tip can be to try to shot in different corners, you often shot in middle of the court and your opponent can easy shot the ball where he wants and he makes sure to put you in truble. This is not good for your tennis. Well, see you next time dude. Good luck for everything!
Thank you for the excellent comments. I agree with your thoughts and thank you for sharing them. I hit a lot of shots down middle as I was struggling with controlling his pace and spin. I need to practice more against fast hitters with heavy spin (most players don’t hit with the spin and pace blue does). My footwork is lagging. I didn’t realize it till I saw video. Thank you for suggestions.
Guy in orange has no weapons, he hits a nice 50-60% rally ball that is perfect for a ball striker. Living in Atlanta myself (I'm a former player at University of Texas) I'm amazed at the lack of complete players like there are in ATL
Is Texas tennis better than Atlanta? I think our viewers would be curious to see. If interested in showing off your game, let's feature you in a video for the channel. We'll set you up with guy in orange and viewers can compare who smokes orange better - Texas or Blue Atlanta guy. Send an email if interested: TennisTrollChannel@gmail.com
That short angled shot at 1:14 was amazing. He struck the ball off his laces, got enough top spin, hit it soft and got that angle. That's a near impossible shot to get back lol.
The guy in blue is really good. Watch this again though. You don't make him move much (although he moves well). And all your balls land short and hang up. Hence the winners. This happens to me when my string is too tight. Great playing I hope to get to 5.0 like you guys.
I agree. I was struggling with his pace and heavy spin. He hits a different ball that is hard for me to control compared to most players. I’ll consider the string tension too. That’s a good point.
I used to play against a guy with a similar build to Mr. Blue. He was a top player in the region, had amazing touch and finesse, very frustrating to play against.
Agree - blue is amazingly fast with an all around game. On match point - he gets to a ball I thought was a winner - especially after 2 hours of playing.
very steady and good strokes (Orange) against very steady and good strokes with placement and power (Blue). Take a look at the whippy forehand at 2:40 and that's a big stroke. I'm closer to orange guy and am working on power on the forehand. Being able to put balls away is a great strength. Part of the whippy motion is getting the racquet head to bend backwards which essentially causes a larger whip, and the 2:40 forehand shows this. You can find some pros talking about this aspect if you search.
How the hell does blue move with that body frame? He doesn't even look like he's breaking a sweat at all. I'm way thinner and i doubt I can move that well.
Both players are strong but the guy in blue is very very good. Blue shirt guy hits a fairly heavy ball and moves it around incredibly well. He pulled his opponent wide repeatedly and followed with crisp shots into the open court. Good serve too. He's a legit player. Good serve followed with a good game. Hits aggressively with excellent placement and consistency. He will beat over 95% of league and rec players.
How is he even hiting that backhand so well for his build? Every big dude I've seen with a two hander is barely managing that thing compared to the forehand.
TennisTroll Channel extend through the shot more and you’ll get some of his heaviness. You’re not extending as much as you could on the forehand, which is why it’s more loopy than heavy. At least that’s how it seems to me
Thanks for the excellent suggestion. I think I’m trying to fight off his spin and trying to brush more when I should be ripping it. I’ll give your idea a try. Thanks for pointing that out- I think you is correct.
Dude in the blue is damn good. Solid, powerful ground strokes, great serve, great placement, lots of power. You would have to play a solid match to beat him.
I'm sorry but Fed would destroy this guy with left hand tied behind his back while smoking a cigarette. You need to watch Fed play live to get a glimpse of greatness.
Blue can definitely crack a forehand. You allowed him too much real estate in the middle. I'm not saying I could fair any better, but I'd be mixing in a lot of short angles and aiming for the sidelines. Cool channel, dude. New sub here.
Thank you for compliment. You is correct- was giving him too much to work with. Blue hits the ball so fast and with so much spin, I was hoping to keep the ball in. Tough to control a fast spin you ball coming at you. I wish the camera would accurately account for how fast blue hits the ball. But then again, when nascar is racing, it doesn’t look as fast on tv as it does in person. Thanks for you comment and do share any suggestions/ideas you may have.
When I get rolled it looks just like this. Blue shirt is always playing ahead, hitting in time and hitting clean shots with great depth pace and accuracy. He comes forward when available as well. Pretty much a nightmare.
Western can go farther. I think it's similar to Novak's. It's slightly more than semi-western, but not fully western. If you pick up the racket from the ground, that is my grip.
I would suggest you to jump when you serve. I know changing takes time but I believe you can do it. Plus more quicker feet and I see that he give you deeper ball than you do. They say if the tennis player get more nervous they bends their knee and leg spread is little bigger !!
I agree and thank you for the excellent suggestions. Have been working on changing serve to use more hips and to get off the ground in practice, but it’s not ready for matches yet. I need to figure out how to better improve footwork. That’s a common suggestion but it may be the one most difficult skill to change.
so much firepower with this guy you have to move him around but if hes dictating the point so hard to do ............tennis " whose doing what to whom "lol
Plan to show a couple matches of him soon of him playing others in a tournament we held. Unfortunately he broke his finger and he's out for a bit, but we do play to plan again.
Little bit of vertical tennis and I'm thinking blue dude's weapons begin to fade a bit. But yeah, he can snap that forehand. Service motion is smooth too. You're both real good. Cool channel. Subscribed.
The plus sized player is excellent. He takes the ball very early and hardly makes a mistake. He doesn't at all look like a near professional player but he is one!
@@TennisTrollChannel You're very gd yourself. Your game's complete and your bkhand is impressive. I agree his forehand is lethal. Takes the ball esp early and always ready to attack on that side. And he's very confident cos he almost never makes mistakes.
Nicely done blue. Forehand was on fire. Would be nice to see you a play someone at a little higher rating. My guess is orange is less than utr 9. He hit too many balls in the middle of the court to you, letting you control almost every long rally. Nicely llayed!
I think these are highlights only. If so, maybe orange won more points than it appears, but editor doesn’t include them cause they aren’t as exciting as blue blasting an amazing winner with his forehand.
@@toocool5064 true, but seeing how orange played in those rallies, plus his serve, especially his second serve, dont think he has enough weapons to beat blue. I post videos and sometimes even though I win, there are more highlights of my opponent than me.
Blue and I have been going back and forth since since high school. Several battles and many excellent memories; however, he is currently the better player.
Continuing to go through you videos, the players who consistently control points and beat you put drastically more focus into left/right placement on the court, whereas you are focusing too actively on hitting a clean shot and not much else. Every neutral ball you hit his way, he hit to the sides of the court. Also worth keeping in mind that the less court coverage an opponent has, the more value there is on placement. Was a fun match to watch, like the rest!
Thanks for the excellent suggestion. Didn't notice that before. It does appear I'm playing it safe and need to do more with it whereas the opponent is taking control when I hit a neutral shot. Thanks for pointing that out.
Agree with Dakota. But it also shows there is more to tennis movement than just physicality. Your opponent was obviously faster 30+ pounds ago. What hasn’t changed is the excellent anticipation and footwork. These play a big part in reaching a ball. It’s not uncommon to see fast players waste their speed because of a lack of anticipation and footwork. Like being slow to react to the starters gun in a sprint race. That being said. What only one drop shot? Yes he’d probably reach most of them but his approach shot would probably be weaker. Also psychologically it’s a lot easier to pass someone that you purposely bring to the net than someone who forces his way in on you on his terms. The feeling of being in control is far less. Also he proved he’s better at you at driving ground strokes from the baseline. You’ve got a more than decent slice backhand try using it more. Go back and look. The few times you used the slice it drew a slower ball from him. It’s harder to hit pace off a slower ball than it is a fast one. Players like him who have coaching behind their games are taught not to over hit slow low balls. They’ll try and set up the next shot with accurate placement. You’ve got decent foot speed to deal with a accurate but slower ball. If you keep your slice deep and low you can change the complexion of the rally. Lengthening the rallies could work in your favor. Move him around with the slice. In spite of what I said earlier about his great anticipation and footwork he’s still carrying around a lot of extra weight. That takes extra energy. Maybe you could get him tired. All players games suffer when they get tired. Not just the mobility factor but also the mind becomes less focused. Bad decisions happen. Basically they start to loose the very qualities that make them good tennis players. Watch some of Steffi Graffs matches. Few players could attack her slice backhand. Hitting a slice backhand is not a weakness it’s a surgical tool. Your failing to use a big weapon you have at your disposal.
Player in blue is strong, but I think he would lose to Federer. It'd be tight, probably lots of tiebreakers but Federer would edge him out in the end. Maybe this guy would take a set off of him. ....Or, if this guy really had that forehand going he might give Fed a run for his money, would be a great match though. Guy in blue reminds me of Nadal, when Nadal beat Federer at Wimbeldon.
TennisTroll Channel It’s crazy that as good a player as Blue is he’d struggle mightily to even win a few points against the top players on tour...in his current form anyway.
This is an interesting match. Very one sided and obviously the guy in blue is really good. But the guy in orange kept hitting the ball into the middle of the court. He was working hard to retrieve the ball right into the opponents hitting zone where he didn't even have to move. The few times he didn't do that, he actually won the point - Examples: 0:19, 0:32, 3:12, 3:38, 4:04
waterGardening you is correct. I hit a lot in middle of the court in this match. Blue hits a fast and spinny ball. Hard for me to control. I was hoping to get the ball back in play and eventually become used to his pace and spin so I could do more. Unfortunately I could not consistently keep it in.

Thanks for the videos
thanks for the comments and suggestions. Fitness is key.
he is a former futures main draw. big difference from former d1. u can see the crispness and explosiveness. tennis is a fitness game if u dont have strokes
This I believe - this dude in blue is legit
His technique is near perfect.
"He qualified for the main draw at 2 ATP Future tournaments"
That right there tells me all I need to know. Getting past 3 matches in the qualies is not something to take lightly and he did it twice ?!?!
agreed- impressive stat.
Yeah, that's more or less former top 500 level. Legit.
@@ChaunceyDos Haha no.
@@ChaunceyDos you trolling
He's not trolling, the draw to these qualies for the Futures (10k or 15k tournies) are littered w inexperienced wannabes, jr's and prospective college prospects testing the waters and or paid their entrance fee or were invited. Guy in the navy blue is a beast. Wasn't expecting that at the start of the video. Great tennis all around!
He has excellent form. I want to copy his forehand...and well...his entire game.
Just been watching this video on repeat -- can't get over how amazing blue's fh is
I agree. It’s one of my favorites. I’m orange, and even though I get clobbered, I appreciate how awesome blue is. I want his forehand.
Damn the guy in blue was ripping unbelievable winners out of the blue, especially when it seemed net clearance wasn't that good
Agree. Killer forehand. Wish I had it. It’s faster in person. Unreal.

That’s my dude right there in the blue. Super clean game all around. Happy to have him on my team.
He’s awesome. You must be too! Nice golf videos : ]
TennisTroll Channel he is indeed. Your videos make me want to get back into tennis. On a golf break now.
I’m sure your tennis team wants you back before the season starts again! If you and Blue want to play for video in future, let us know. It’s fun.
TennisTroll Channel yes definitely miss being out there. If I get back into it you know I’d be down to play and record. I’m all about that.
More tennis videos- awesome. Let’s see it! If similar level as blue, it’ll make a great video to watch.
people really don't get the pace, direction, and spin from just watching unless they really know what to look for. looks alot different in video than on the court! dude is a baller
I agree- great point about the video. You must be an excellent player too.
That last forehand was insane. Guy in blue it's a solid 5.00
I agree. Blue is awesome.
Really nice playing. When technique and strategy comes together seamlessly
the heavier set guy , amazing racq skills , great stroke technique , beautiful service motion !!
I think the moral of these videos is never underestimate anyone, and take all opponents seriously.
My hometown has a guy that's almost 60 that's so much like this guy in blue. He was a divison 1 player as well in college. He simply beats everyone. I feel honored when he asks to play (stomp) me and I just hit 30.
Some people just have an awesome game. Sounds like your tennis friend is amazing too.
The player in the blue shirt has some serious power. He hit some great winners. Player in the orange shirt is very good as well.....
I agree. Thank you for sharing your thoughts in comment. Blue’s game is awesome to watch.
Still my all time favorite match on UA-cam
You don't see an inside out fearhand that clean at the club level too often, that one at 2:41 is disgusting! Smart player that guy in blue, very winning style of play, knows how to win points. You did a good job too your serve has really solidified lately.
I still remember the 2:41 shot...I was not expecting that. I agree. Blue is incredible. Thanks for noticing how intelligent blue is- there’s a reason he can hit the shots he hits. Thanks for noticing my serve- the rust is coming off slowly : ]
That is solid tennis. Thanks for sharing the match.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Look forward to your next tennis video.
Blue guy moves slowly but his forehand is so powerful and accurate. The 2:40 shot wtf.
I didn’t see 2:40 coming. That was an awesome shot.
@@TennisTrollChannel yea out of nowhere
Blue loved that pattern when he would take his forehand to your backhand starting with depth...and when you gave him a shorter ball he used more angle from his forehead to your backhand...then next opportunity he would rip a winner to your forehand or sometimes back to your backhand. He took totally control with that pattern. He has great strokes, patience, and great knowledge of how to construct points
There was nothing I could do to counter his shots. He was too good for me. He's style and technique are amazing. He devastated every short ball I hit to him.
that backhand slice is amazing and he does it consistent i think its a throwback to the wood era
Agree - it's a heavy ball too. stays low and cuts. It's nasty.
The guy in the blue is great. I’m #1-ranked in my age in my section and I don’t know if I’d beat him. Fantastic control and enough power. I’d say he’s a UTR 10. I’m a UTR 9.
Thank you Steve. Looking forward to seeing your next tennis video.
You is correct- I agree. Thank you for pointing that out. Didn’t realize till you mentioned it and I watch it on video.
Big guy has some skills, could probably beat Cam Norrie
Agree - he is awesome technique. He gave me a beat down.
He is very good, but beat Cam Norrie, um, no. Be lucky to win a game.
@Keshav Sundar the joke would make more sense with like tsitsipas
@Keshav Sundar the joke was about norrie losing to this 5.5. i was just saying to the joke that it would have been funnier with someone like tsitsipas lost to him. you must be fun at parties.
This comment didnt age well.
One of the videos #1 in Club Team) features a player who hits all flat and I struggle. It’s rare to find someone who hits flat in todays’s game. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Great points. Guy in blue has a super clean forehand.

watched it twice.
Thank you to blue player and to all players of this channel who have been willing to post their tennis on UA-cam for all of us to enjoy. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments and enjoy the videos : ]
Yes, keep up the sharing, I enjoy it!
When is your next tennis video available?
@@TennisTrollChannel I havent played since my last post. Hoping to hit with my father this weekend in clay, then back to matches next week. I was in a nice rythm of playing, hate when I go more than a week without playing...
Maybe consider a video with your father- that’ll be awesome to see and something that can be cherished. Take care : ]
@1:40 MASAVA - make America serve and volley again
Can you please play with iRacer who is also 5.0 USTA. That would be great to watch you guys are playing together!
He’s a great player. I subscribe to his videos. I have received a couple requests from others with same idea. Great technique from navy shirt! TBH he plays better than my coach lol
I agree. Blue has excellent technique. I wish we had a radar gun to measure how fast the ball travels off his racket.
Reminds me of a guy I know also former d1, also big, similar game and very good
would you agree with me that your approach shot @0:53 was lazy? i do that a lot too and i'm trying to just hit groundstrokes instead of slice shots when i have alot of time and its not needed.
Sounds like me sometimes : ]
hi man, first congrats for your tennis and your matches! really interesting to watch :)
recorded matches are good to watch yourself playing this sport and improve what you can do better.
And maybe dropshot the blue more & offer different spins
Check out the slice at 3:05. It moves a foot away from orange.
Guy in orange has no weapons, he hits a nice 50-60% rally ball that is perfect for a ball striker. Living in Atlanta myself (I'm a former player at University of Texas) I'm amazed at the lack of complete players like there are in ATL

That short angled shot at 1:14 was amazing. He struck the ball off his laces, got enough top spin, hit it soft and got that angle. That's a near impossible shot to get back lol.
Cory I don’t know how to counter that. There’s nothing I can do but watch it go by and smile. Good observation.
Hope to see you at 5.0 soon!
You can find some pros talking about this aspect if you search.
blue has some really clean strokes
Agreed. His form is amazing.
My first thought.

Agree. Blue is even more dominant in doubles.
Match point is amazing. How did the guy in blue hit a winner on that shot?
Watch in slow motion, very impressive
How is he even hiting that backhand so well for his build? Every big dude I've seen with a two hander is barely managing that thing compared to the forehand.

TennisTroll Channel extend through the shot more and you’ll get some of his heaviness. You’re not extending as much as you could on the forehand, which is why it’s more loopy than heavy. At least that’s how it seems to me
Thanks for the excellent suggestion. I think I’m trying to fight off his spin and trying to brush more when I should be ripping it. I’ll give your idea a try. Thanks for pointing that out- I think you is correct.

I'm sorry but Fed would destroy this guy with left hand tied behind his back while smoking a cigarette. You need to watch Fed play live to get a glimpse of greatness.
That forehand at 2:40 though oh my god

@@TennisTrollChannel - and his backhand 😉

TT, how western is your forehand grip? It's about as far as it can get
Western can go farther. I think it's similar to Novak's. It's slightly more than semi-western, but not fully western. If you pick up the racket from the ground, that is my grip.
That last shot was unreal
That volley at 1m45s…. 👏👏👏👏👏 great hands
Good stuff 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Little bit of vertical tennis and I'm thinking blue dude's weapons begin to fade a bit. But yeah, he can snap that forehand. Service motion is smooth too. You're both real good. Cool channel. Subscribed.
Ron Harris thank you for the feedback. Blue can ball. Is forehand appears to be near textbook perfect in my opinion.
Nice content. What’s your camera set up for recording matches?
Old cell phone, selfie stick, and I duct tape it to the fence.
My man in Blue looks like he should be behind the grill with a beer in his hand. But he is a beast on the tennis court. Respect ✊🏼
@1StarProductions True that 😂

@@TennisTrollChannel You're very gd yourself. Your game's complete and your bkhand is impressive. I agree his forehand is lethal. Takes the ball esp early and always ready to attack on that side. And he's very confident cos he almost never makes mistakes.

Wow, that last winner.
That was an amazing shot. Second best of the match in my opinion.
Nicely done blue. Forehand was on fire. Would be nice to see you a play someone at a little higher rating. My guess is orange is less than utr 9. He hit too many balls in the middle of the court to you, letting you control almost every long rally. Nicely llayed!
Blue has a textbook forehand. It’s amazing.
@@TennisTrollChannel nice to have someone nearby that's good quality to hit with
Blu dude: The looks-can-be-deceiving guy
1:58 did he attempt to fake a slice and go for a one handed topspin or he just switches sometimes
I think he switches at times - my guess.
Blue is awesome. I agree. awesome style and superb power.
Tremendous troll comment sir although it would be more amusing if you were serious
Don’t think blue can beat Federer? Perhaps blue can beat Tsitsipas : ]
TennisTroll Channel It’s crazy that as good a player as Blue is he’d struggle mightily to even win a few points against the top players on tour...in his current form anyway.
I agree. Pros are several more levels ahead.
This is an interesting match. Very one sided and obviously the guy in blue is really good. But the guy in orange kept hitting the ball into the middle of the court. He was working hard to retrieve the ball right into the opponents hitting zone where he didn't even have to move. The few times he didn't do that, he actually won the point - Examples:
0:19, 0:32, 3:12, 3:38, 4:04
waterGardening you is correct. I hit a lot in middle of the court in this match. Blue hits a fast and spinny ball. Hard for me to control. I was hoping to get the ball back in play and eventually become used to his pace and spin so I could do more. Unfortunately I could not consistently keep it in.
That guy is incredible
