I live in Vernon Center NY. Grew up on a small dairy farm and our summer fun was taking a tractor to our county fairs tractor pull. Oneida "Boonville" Madison "Brookfield" and Herkimer "Frankfort"

@@mikep7810 we used to bring our 4020 with a farmhand loader on it. Always had to pull in the heavier 10500 class. did well against them. It was too much work to take it off for one day of fun, still needed it the next day for work.
Pull looked good. Wish they would do that down here in North Carolina. I would put my 5288 in and see what it would do. Got it turned up to 200 hp and it is a hoss. My brother does have a light pro stock named Southern Smoke that he pulls. Hope farming your was is better than it is down here for me
I haven't but people always tell me I need to go down. Usually at the end of the week of this fair I'm faired out lol. Maybe I'll swing down some night this year and check it out
Hahaha you can't fool me, Mom's tractor isn't a 4440. There's an intercooler stuck on the side of the engine that would be from a 46 or 4840. More than likely the fuel pump is off the larger model too. Good show. I love tractor pulls.
@@mikep7810 there are a few 4440 s running around with 4640 implants. Same 466 just has an intercooler. Trick is to make everything else live behind it at that power level. At least this way you have a 540 and 1000 PTO. 4640 1000 only.
It looks familiar to me. I've been to those Fairgrounds. I'll bet those green New Deal people wouldn't like those tractors pulling and making all that smoke Etc.

There were a lot of fords, a few cases, and some other brands. The majority of the neighbors though have the same brand of tractor
I like how the families come out to watch the tractor pulls.

I love them too, they are a fun time. I wasn't trying to fool anyone. The 4440 isn't mine so I have no clue whats done to it. I brought down the 4055
Here in Canada many years ago a pull guy put the fuel pump from an 8640 4WD onto a 4440. I heard the results were awesome.

Probably not. Pretty soon they will make a rule that says you can only pull a newer tractor with the DEF! lol
