Always fun to see the daily drivers out pulling the sled. Last 2 times I did that with my old 1972 F250 I took first over the local daily drivers. I run it as I drive it daily. Some if the boys tried to make some special mods just for the pull and still lost. That’s why I have not done it in a few years no real local compilation

Best option if you have a half ton, un bolt that ttb, roll in an 05+ coil front, very little work to use them.. easiest for the 3/4 tons or early one tons is find either a kingpin or ball joint dana 60, both are awesome, and they 99.9% bolt in

The white bullnose with the raked stance and especially that blue dentside held their own against those squarebody Chevy's pretty good.
The rest of the Fords got stomped though lol

Also that bricknose suffered from what a lot of ifs Chevy's suffer from..... Can't have that issue if you grease the steering zerks.

They did. However, Seeing those old Chev squares makes me miss Grandpa's 74 C10. 350sbc, 4 on the floor with Granny low. That truck would pull a heavy camper like nothing was behind it. It was overall a fun rig.

Hell yeah..obs fords are the best..people that have never owned or worked a 302 or 351 really don't know how capable they are.. and don't believe the power ratings ford puts out there notorious for putting out lower figures then what there motors actually produce.. hell I've out towed many 360 dodge magnums and Chevy 350s with a little 5.0 302 in an f150.. and there some hard to kill engines..keep oil and a good tune up and they will run forever..
