How I Make My Family Favorite Cheese Waffles | Great for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner 😋

  • Hello and thank you for watching! My name is Rachel and I love making videos about cooking, baking, and just about anything else! Today I am making cheese waffles for breakfast, they are a favorite and are good as a breakfast food but also for any meal. Eat them with eggs like we did or pair with a salad for lunch or some sliced meat and veggies for a light dinner.
    My recipes are in grams, I highly highly recommend investing in a scale for cooking and baking - it makes it so much quicker once you figure out the conversions (I kept a list on my food or just ask google, but now I know most without having to look). Here is the recipe I based my recipe on, if you want cup measurements, but I have modified my from this: www.loveandoli...)
    Recipe:
    223 grams all purpose flour
    20 grams potato, corn starch or rice flour
    1 TBL baking powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp smoked paprika
    1 tsp dried parsley
    1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
    1/2 tsp kosher salt (or salt of choice)
    3 large eggs
    1 1/2 cup buttermilk (alternative - 1.5 TBL white vinegar and filled to 1 1/2 line with milk)
    6 TBL melted butter
    170 g grated cheddar cheese
    50 g grated parmesan cheese
    Mix all ingredients. Cook according to your waffle maker instructions.
