I bought an original GTi pro lite a little while ago, then bought a copy some time later just to see what they're like, to my surprise there's no telling them apart performance wise! Even the parts are interchangeable to a fashion, you can put the OEM fluid tip and cap on, the needle will also fit but you have to get the OEM bushing as they're slightly different diameters. I probably won't buy another OEM gun again for a while now I know, sure they're a little off cosmetically compared to the original, but they work just as well as the genuine gun!
Wish you would have filmed that blind test. That would have been very interesting to watch

Actually China have alot of their local brand spray gun and works very well with reasonable price . 60 pound for a fake spray gun is rather expensive 😅😅

yeah i have the same, got over 10 pistols right now, 2 are "fake" but to be honest i cannot tell the difference, painted over 250 cars in my life and have enough experience, have special edition sata's but also use some lightweighted cheaper guns on projects, finding replacement parts can be difficult but havent had any issues so far. espacialy if u are new into painting, u can start with ebay guns that are from china or lower budget guns to learn painting.

Why doesn't Devilbiss file complaints with the proper people and force these fake guns and their sellers off of the markets?
Because to actually hunt down Chinese underground companies that are breaking the copywriting/patenting laws is almost impossible and is definitely not worth the time and money.
@@HackMasterBlaster yeah u shutdown 1 seller, he will: start over again 5minutes after, or 25 other chinese guys will open an ebay shop. u simply cannot stop it.

Sometimes it’s not too good to be true
One time spray won`t tell anything. Those fake guns may work nice a few times, even months. They will rust, and seals will be crumbled inside.. Do not buy them if you paint more than few times per year.. Those fake guns will ruin many good brand! (sorry my English)
