I've used DeVilbiss guns for decades now, pressure, gravity and suction feed set ups. Get the needle size matched with the aircap, what a difference it makes. I'm a Painter and Decorator, increasingly using spray method to finish internal woodwork on large refurb projects.
I'm new to pai ting and gonna paint my first truck. What do you mean get the needle size ro match air cap? I probably sound stupid but I'm so elneq amd just don't know.plus any tips?
Thanks for explaining the air caps! 5:36 Great video. Would be great to have a separate detailed video showing the differences in spray quality, compressor requirements etc between the aircaps.
Hi thanks for the video. I'm interested in the gti pro lite for waterborne automotive paint. I currently use a gti pro lite but have trouble with metallic silver or grey with alot of metallic. I was wondering what set up you recomend to stop getting patchy metallic finish?
Great vid mate. I've got a DeVilbiss GTi Pro lite (signature 111) and an Advance hd pressure feed. I spray mainly water base Caparol PU . I've got a Gentilin c330/24 which has a FAD 330l/min at (11.65cfm). and Air delivery of 5bar 200l/min at (7.06cfm). I take it the gentilin hasn't got enough cfm to power the guns?
Replied on fb to your comment, but yes at 2bar the gti with a te10 will used about 270lpm but the advance HD with 522 will use around 400lpm at 2 bar so you might struggle with that one.
