Arty, i love the concept of you covering super high mmr ladder matches, but pls i need you to pay attention a little bit more on the minimap. At 14 minutes while you were staring at the 4th zerg expo in the middle left where nothing was happening, you could see on the minimap in the bottom right flash was making constant drops in the zerg main and natural. Your insight into the games is invaluable but please dont forget the other core part of being an observer.
Despite the result for flash its hearwarming how much the broodwar community its builded around respect. The dropships were really innovative and well executed.
Flash playstyle is so dynamic. He will use 1 dropship to send 2 drops, lift all his racks to re-arrange his SIM for the circumstance, consistently push with waves of bio. He lost but still pulled one of the most pro-active game I have seen from the scene.
i mean, he was down 20 supply in TvZ, so in a bad spot. He'd switched to mech so he wants to have 2-3 geysers, but was now going to be basically only mining from 1 base. Good time to gg
Speaking of all the pros being active, I was really surprised to see Rain in ASL. I was under the impression he'd basically retired from Starcraft and only rejoined again the one time because of something to do with his work.
Ive been playing starcraft since 99. I just played a game of sc2 today. The longest break ive taken has been 6 years. Starcraft is simply one of the best RTS games made to date.
It was Very interesting flash mech switch and it could have worked but Yoon was just brilliant with his ultra timing . Also his mutalisk control was superb

Rain strikes me as a guy who doesn't care about winning ASL but is so talented that he can just on a whim qualify for one and see how far he goes.
