      We all have our story, and a lot of times people just don't ask enough questions about people. Like Adeline, I have not aged very much in 23 years. I'm 42 years old, and it has nothing to do with how I take care of myself. It has everything to do with my overall life experience. I was born and grew up in America, but I also lived in Scotland and England. When I returned after so many years, it was hard readjusting to American life, but I always remembered the people of my past that I left behind. They all got very old, I stayed the same, and even they have children in their 20's who look like my age. When I saw this scene in this movie, it brought truth to my life.
      I'm not purposely trying to remain young, but it just happened. I look very young for my age.The thing with Adeline is that this is a tale were looks can be deceiving. On the surface, she is a nice, young looking woman, but who know what she is really feeling on the inside. We are all not what we seem. There is a lot of sorrow. I met so many people, and traveled from place to place, but its only now at 42 where I'm finally blooming into adulthood.
      It seems like all these years, I lived but I never had a life. Now I'm looking at the world through fresh eyes.

    This scene proves that Harrison is a much better *_ACTOR_* than most people give him credit for. He's always labelled a _'movie star',_ which is absolutely true, but there's so much more to him than just firing off witty comebacks or cracking a whip or taking down bad guys. He can deliver beautiful, touching displays like this and make them seem totally natural. 💖

      Besides “The Fugitive”, this is the performance of Ford’s career! Lively is growing with each role she takes and she is going to be one of the greatest in a few years time. I think her next film was ( possibly) The Shallows and, she was incredible in that, really “acting” with her emotions in the face as she had hardly any dialogue.

    Yk, movies always make it seem like being young for so long isn't possible but there are real people who hold out more or less this well when they are super strict with their health, especially if their lifestyle is coupled with really good genetics. There's a lady who was famous about ten years ago for being 75 and still looking like 40ish. And wow yeah, she looked really young!!! And I'm mid-30s and I still get told I look like a teenager all the time. I'm seeing all of these people around me who are my age looking older and older and I don't seem to change. Tho that's no brag in my case at all bc I'm not able to be super strict with my health, it's a rather expensive to eat well all the time, but I just do the best that I can and use a really good herbal skin oil and also do have some lucky genetics... So yeah, youth can last a long time if you're lucky and/or careful.

    She definitely should've married William, told him, ran away together, had kids together, run away together if necessary Later on. While husband grew old & kids grew old, William can always just say Adaline is my youngest sister out of our 7 siblings bla bla bla. Definitely could've been together. So stupid of running away due to her condition.

    • @AlwaysIfy
      @AlwaysIfy 5 років тому +11

      So, the beginning of the story was set like in the 1900's and the main character is (Adaline) but fake name is (Jenny). She got into a car accident during her "young" age which magically cost her life. She basically stopped aging as time went on. She met a guy (William) during the 1900's and they FELL IN DEEP LOVE 💔 But I assume Adaline had to leave him because HE'D BE AGING WHEN SHE COULDN'T. So time went ON & ON, everyone aged but Adaline. She met this guy (ELLIS) who happened to be William's SON & they fell in love. OF COURSE, Adaline didn't know ELLIS was William's son soooo, that's why when William saw (Jenny aka Adaline) he QUICKLY called her Adaline cause that's the girl he fell in love with in the 1900's. (Jenny aka Adaline) continuously denied the identity but William deep down knew something was absolutely wrong and that was HIS Adaline from the olden days. So in this scene, William notices the SCAR on (Jenny's aka Adaline) hand and that's when it ALL HITS HIM. William remembered stitching Adaline's hand back in the 1900's and the EXACT SCAR AND POSITION was there! That's when he DEEP DOWN KNEW that was HIS Adaline!!
