Best scene in the whole movie, his reaction, great acting.
i agree
Yes, brilliant performance of Harrison Ford. What an actor!
It is, and so is hers.
Agreed. The emotion in his face and hers when she realizes who he is incredible
Agreed. This scene and this entire plot line with him takes the movie from generics polished glossy Hollywood love story to something gripping, novel, something you can’t even quite put the finger on
People don’t mention Blake Lively’s acting in this scene as much. I think she portrayed herself subtlety holding back tears really well.
Watched this scene a million times
Where can I watch this movie?
Age of Adaline
@@mustafaemad1140غبي كال وين اكدر اشوف الفلم مو شنو اسم الفلم 😂
@@marthaalmonte8644I just bought it off Google TV
@@marthaalmonte8644 You can find full version on UA-cam now. With subtitles. But should be easy/cheap/free to find online as well
I watch this because the Harrison Fords acting is mind blowing.
100% agree
He stole the show with the few scenes he was in 💯👏🏾
I felt so sad for Ford’s character when he learned Jenny’s mom died.
It seems the acting in this movie is top notch.
Yup best part he cried after this, he couldn’t hold his tears
Not a huge Harrison Ford fan, but this small role was as stellar as it gets. Amazing! The expressions, the voice quiver, the reaching for the chair at the disbelief of her passing. Amazing but controlled master class of acting! And a GREAT FILM!
Honestly think this is Ford's single best movie scene. Almost gets you crying for the guy who remembers the love of his life, and is probably close to a heart attack seeing this "stranger" show up in his house.
His poor wife in this scene though 😢 She's like, who the heck was this lady???
such insecurity on her part... "i cant beleive you never mentioned her" ... blahblah jelousy yikes she keeps looking at William with "you never looked at me this way" ohh insecure cnts
When a man goes through the excruciating pain of heartbreak, he often tends to keep his emotions and suffering to himself. This silent approach helps him to deal with his feelings and eventually find a path to recovery and moving on. However, even though he may find a way to heal, the pain of losing someone is not easily forgotten. The anguish he experienced upon hearing that she had "died" was just as real as when it initially broke his heart. It's a feeling that reopens the wounds and causes the heartache to resurface once more when he realizes that a person he shared a profound connection with is truly gone, gone forever.
The moment you recognize her, it's painful.
What a beautiful film, Blake Lively is mesmerising, anf Harrison ford is glorious.
He loved her so much that when he heard that she passed away, he had to catch himself with the wall.
I'm an old man now, and one thing that began to happen in my late 40s is that memories of big moments or periods in one life feel like they happened yesterday. Even though a lot may have happened before or after such moments, you can feel, hear and even remember the smell of the ocean or home cooking of these moments. I haven't watched the movie but he could have thought about Adaline the morning of that day.
Very good film. This scene is really intense.
It is not separations that leave a bitter taste in the mouth, but the things that have not happened. You say “what if it had happened”, but you only say it. It has already been done. And there is no going back. There is no making up for lost time and lost people. I think Harrison Ford has skillfully portrayed the emotions of the character when he learns that she is dead.
This movie is one I’ll never forget, watched it again recently.
I always liked Harrison Ford as an actor but his performance in this film really stands out for me, everyone really brought their A game for this movie
I haven’t even seen this movie before and this scene is intense and the acting fantastic see so much emotion in their voices and facial expressions. Top acting. Men never forget their first love it will always hurt deep.
Fortunately for me, I’m still friends with my high school girlfriend. All that heartache eventually turns to love and understanding as we grow older. We are both in our 40’s now and keep in touch through social media. If she was to pass away, a part of me would also.
Harrison ford just amazing in the scene
Harrison Ford's character trying to keep composure and Blake's character skillfully redirecting while keeping her composure. Great scene
Beautiful scene. This every single time gets me back to one and one specific person only. If she ever appears in front of me… I wouldn’t be able to say at this moment if I’d hug her, kiss her, cry, or simply emotionally and physically collapse…
She left a mark in so many ways, and I only wish someone else (if not her) could reach me in the positive ways she did
I know the feeling buddy. Never met anyone like that since, and that was a LONG time ago.
I understand completely.
I saw this scene for the first time and it made me want to warch it. I ordered it last night and yes. This scene is the best part of the movie and the music really sets the tone.
Master Best acting
Both facial reactions on their questions and responses are amazing! I can imagine their thoughts in processing before each responses.
UA-cam suggested this scene for me, I have never heard about this movie before. This scene just blow me away and made me to watch the whole movie.
There is no question, this is the strongest scene not just in this film, but I think it is between the best scenes ever. (Though the movie “just” 7/10 I think.)
Actors are brilliant, I feel like I’m between this company in that room. I believe the characters consternation, fear and pain.
Can’t watch enough times. Superb!
Imagine seeing your first love's daughter and tell you that your first love died
it's about how a man loves only once
In turkish we have a saying for this kind of situation, "You grow old with the one you're together with, you die with the one you have in your heart". Spectacular acting 01:52
the most cruel part of this scene is....
When Willian heard Adaline was dead years ago, he knew... the question which haunted him for years, won't be answered.
"Why do you leave?"
Loved this movie❣️
Son's choice is same as of father ❤
Seen the thumbnail and thought Harrison Ford was an interesting cast for a Harold Shipman biopic
Yes
Um filme inesquecível, amei. Blake Lively linda e talentosa, arrasa. 💖🙌👍
Heart memory is strong
I feel she has better chemistry with the father than with the son. I didn't really like Elli.
I agree. It felt like like the Elli thing was a one way street tbh. Didn't really FEEL like she loved him, whereas he was head over heels for her, bordering on creepy at the beginning of the movie.
And this is over if the reasons why I've liked older men in movies always!! So passionate!!
Lady Deadpool origin
Did you know her! How did she perform it's really amazing 😍
This is 🔚 of the pain
When your son , have your exgirlfriend
Movie name please
Has anyone else experienced this?
I hope nobody did
Yeah, yesterday, crazy
May be in future coz i am on the way
Not old enough yet so idk.
She asks did you know her!
plot twist she is her daughter and his son is her brother now 😂😂
She says she passed away
Harry, hoy duermes en el sofa....
Did you know her?
Legit though this was about the Neural Networks.
Lady Deadpool and Red Hulk.
And his wife current wife is about to start an argument because she want to know about who's this Madeline no matter how long ago it was because a jealous person is always be jealous person
When he realises he's been living a lie all this time. 😢
Only made it half way through video, then turned it off ! a knee jerk response to lying, my conditioned response to today’s MSM
Yeah amd now I want to see it because there's obviously a tremendous reason why he would still remember after all the decades.
I don’t understand what you mean by this
Great acting from all of them ❤
