I’m install those on my 2020 LTZ Silverado like a year ago. FYI,you can install it from the engine bay just open the hood stick your hand to change the light not have to remove anything
Great must do mod but just pop the hood and reach down from the top and it takes about 10 seconds per side and you need no tools. Great design by GM but should have been LED from the factory.
Well when you sell 100s of thousands of trucks and you save a few bucks not doing LEDs it quickly adds up. Especially if it's easy for the consumer to upgrade if they want to. And majority of consumers are happy with how it is. I like LEDs btw.
I agree with the process of popping the hood. Look down just below the headlights and twist tab. Take incandescent bulb out and place LED bulb in the slot. Reinsert and twist tab. Finally, test install. Total time and NO tools needed is approximately two minutes, max. Follow the old saying and acronym, KISS, Keep It Simple Silly. Your welcome and have a great day!
So I replaced signal light with led and now when I use them I get a notice saying check signal light not working. But they are working just blinking faster
Thanks for showing me these lights they are great but I have a better review for you. I installed my turn signal lights and reverse lights five or six months ago. A few days ago I noticed a reverse light was not working after looking threw the taillight I noticed the bulb had broken off and was laying inside the taillight housing. I emailed Lasfit basically wanting to purchase only one bulb. I received a email the NEXT morning asking if my address was still the same and they would send me a new pair out that day. What great customer service they have.
I installed those very lights a couple months ago and love them. I just popped the hood and reached down and did the quarter turn to pull the light. Replaced it, popped it back in, no fuss, no muss, no removing screws or anything! Actually did a video, have my 3yo grandson "helping" me...as soon as I get our channel up and running will be posting it. I've already installed these, the reverse lights and the license plate lights...so I'll give everyone else a chance to win! As for the next mod...not sure, but I would like to know if those mirrors were stock or something you added....
Went right through under the hood when I did mine, no fender well access needed. Was a GREAT upgrade and I used LASFIT as well, there are waaaayyy cheaper ones available on ebay but Lasfit is known high quality.
Not sure if yours came stock but I want to install a frnt camera that works with the existing headunit to pop on when your getting close to something while parking.
Just an FYI, I swapped mine out for LEDs yesterday and it is very easy to go through the hood to remove them so there is no need to take the screws out of the panel on either side of your truck
I'd love to see some more auxillary lighting on the truck. Maybe some light bars behind the grille or some rock lights would be awesome. Another awesome and useful lights are the bed lights under the railing. Love the videos and really give me inspiration for future projects for my truck!
Good video. I have replaced all of the incandescent bulbs with Lasfit too. I love their products. I was to reach my blinkers from the top under the hood. 2020 Silverado RST.
My 2021 High Country came equipped with OEM LED front turn signals. Don’t need to upgrade them, but the rear reverse/backup lights were incandescent and replaced them with Lasfit LEDs! If you have a High Country you cannot LED upgrade, the area where less optioned Silverados have the access circle with the fin to open is not there. Rather there’s a 5mm plastic hex in place of the fin. Upon looking closely at the lense from the front you’ll see there’s a fiber optic light bar instead. Glad I didn’t order the front LEDs!
Big fan! Replaced rear bulbs with Lasfit so nice. Also did the Rough Country Lights. Thought I would mention use a oscillating tool with small bit cuts strait and like butter. Have put the tailgate light strip in my Trail boss love it. They make a kit c55384 part number that allows you to pull 7 round connector off back so the 4 wire t plug behind bumper. No hard wiring. Would love to see a Tail Gate strip that is real bright.
You should do a leveling kit from rough country or the 3” lift and if that’s to high get the AL2 steps as well. I have the AL2s on my 21 RST and the family LOVES them. Or maybe audio upgrades like we did in the early 2000s but clean sound instead of rattles
Would like to see how to change the interior lights, dome and map lights. I want to change mine to blue, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to change them. That and hard wiring led light strips for the foot wells and under the seats
I have a 2020 Silverado and have put in level kit with new 35 inch tires but would like to see what mudflaps to go with because my tires stick out wider then flaps and causes mud streaks up the side of truck
Great video! You just sold me on lasfit for my 2015 Silverado. For your Silverado though, id like to see you tune it for more power and to see how much fuel economy you could gain.
I just changed mine out.. Loving your channel, my wife not so much 😂😂.. I have spent over 12,000 dollars in the last 3 weeks modding my 2020 TB all from your great ideas.. Of course my new 35-12.50-18 tires and wheels and the BDS 4 inch lift cost the most.. I’m not done yet😎🤝
I’m a little late to the party but I just made the swap on my ‘14 Sierra and while it took some doing, I was able to get it done and it’s awesome. I’m looking at doing the swap on the taillights as well but I may hold off for a bit because I already have LEDs but they’re not nearly as bright so I may have to get on that.
Love your videos. I have already done a few things to my 2021 just based on your videos. I did the license plate & reverse lights 2 days ago. What an amazing change. My street is a busy street and those reverse lights light it all up so people see a vehicle coming out now! So thanks!!! I would like to see a pedal commander or cool air intake and see if the performance change is worth it. Keep doin what your doin! Thanks man
Stillen Trupower air intake scoop and it should be compatible with the CAI cold air intake. A dyno run would be interesting with the easy bolt on upgrades. I don’t remember if you did a PCV catch can.
Dang those look sick. I’d love to see the boss get some love on the front lighting. More specifically some led driving lights and Wrap them smoked to darken the front out further.
I actually bought these when you did the reverse lights. I went off the link you posted and saw these bad boys. My TrailBoss is fully LED thanks to you brudduh🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Not sure what look you are going for with this beautiful truck. I have a 2019 Trail Boss and I have been trying to decide if I want a larger lift. Wondering your thoughts and maybe see a suspension upgrade with your truck.
I converted my '07 Silverado 2500HD to all LED (except headlights) 2 years ago, now it's time to do the same to our new '20 LT Trail Boss. I originally found your channel when searching upgrades for our Trail Boss and I came across your "Biggest Wheels & Tires on Trail Boss" video. I loved the look of those tires on the Trail Boss and want to do something like that on ours. Can't wait to see what you finally decide to put on permanently. Perhaps a leveling kit and 35's for the next upgrade! I'll be watching to see what you come up with. Thanks!
Continue with the blackout theme. What do you think about a slight tint on the 3rd brake light and tail lights? I have a black 2020 Silverado myself and have been toying with this idea. The huge bright red lights stick out soon bad!
LH, please help. I've watched several videos regarding the signal bulb replacement. However, on my 2019 1500 High Country 6.2 has no light access on the box. It has the harness with the red tab but no bulb insert beside it. Are You familiar with this setup or am I missing something. I see where the box is molded to have such a place for the quarter turn access point but it simply doesn't exist...!!!!!!
I would like to see you install the GM Upfitter switches so you can connect your current and future mods to 1 set of switches. I've done this on my 20 Trail Boss LT and was able to eliminate part of the wire harness GM required for the Baja Designs light bar you get through GM Accessories. This way, if you choose to add other lights in the future you won't be dealing with a bunch of different switches all over your interior. And, you won't need to run a bunch of wires to the battery. Just connect to the upfitter switches. Other mods I think would look good on your truck are the sport bar GM offers (will interfere with tonneau covers, so you'll have to be very careful with what you select here, also will require disconnecting CHMSL brake light at electrical center and wiring in brake light in sport bar), and the light bar that mounts on top of the sport bar). Maybe also get the A-pillar led lights GM offers.
I appreciate all the awesome content you provide. I installed the Lasfit back up light and plates LED and now all my 3 brothers ordered theirs as well. All thanks to you! I would want you to install some bull bars.
I have a 2021 Trailboss LT 6.2L. Midnight Edition. Do I have the same halogen bulbs also from factory or are they LED I can’t seem to find where I can check behind the fender liner
Did you have any issues with the truck not reading the new LEDs? I ordered some off of Rockauto and they blink fast as if they're getting ready to "go out". If you didn't have any issues with these, I'm going to order! Thanks!
U could just remove the bulbs from the engine bay it's way to easy to do it from there 😁 i replact mine it didn't even took five minutes ... All the best keep up the good Work 👍
I have the 2020 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss LT as you do, I replaced the factory bulbs with the LED’s you did(lasfit). I get interference in the radio when I use my turn signals. Did you get the same ?
Love to see you add a black Sports bar with 4 led lights added to it..... yes..... more lights! Just to piss off the neighbors lmao jk.. but yeah a sports bar be sick!! And will help when driving in wooded areas and back roads.. I have it on my truck.. comes in handy for looking out for deers.
I know I’m late but there’s an easier way to take the lights out without tools, just open the hood and stick your arm down to the turn signal and turn. It’s quicker
So now that you have had your trailboss for a while now do you think the 5.3 is enough power? I’m debating on the 6.2 but a little concerned about gas mileage and premium gas.
I’m install those on my 2020 LTZ Silverado like a year ago.
FYI,you can install it from the engine bay just open the hood stick your hand to change the light not have to remove anything
Your right i did the same on my 2020 Trail Boss. No need to go in through fender well.
Same here. No tools needed. Not difficult to access at all, and lots of room this way.
I noticed that you could do this after I installed them through the bottom.
Great must do mod but just pop the hood and reach down from the top and it takes about 10 seconds per side and you need no tools. Great design by GM but should have been LED from the factory.
Especially when these trucks are over 50k brand-new, maybe even closer to 60k.
Well when you sell 100s of thousands of trucks and you save a few bucks not doing LEDs it quickly adds up. Especially if it's easy for the consumer to upgrade if they want to. And majority of consumers are happy with how it is. I like LEDs btw.

So I replaced signal light with led and now when I use them I get a notice saying check signal light not working. But they are working just blinking faster
Have you ever swapped the interior lights to led?
Thanks for showing me these lights they are great but I have a better review for you. I installed my turn signal lights and reverse lights five or six months ago. A few days ago I noticed a reverse light was not working after looking threw the taillight I noticed the bulb had broken off and was laying inside the taillight housing. I emailed Lasfit basically wanting to purchase only one bulb. I received a email the NEXT morning asking if my address was still the same and they would send me a new pair out that day. What great customer service they have.
Are the marker lights already LED? If not how do you replace them?
I installed those very lights a couple months ago and love them. I just popped the hood and reached down and did the quarter turn to pull the light. Replaced it, popped it back in, no fuss, no muss, no removing screws or anything! As for the next mod...not sure, but I would like to know if those mirrors were stock or something you added....
Chevy really made it easy for that, lasfit didn’t even know it’s much easier than the method he’s showing
Yeah it takes about 10 seconds reaching down from the top and no tools.
The mirrors are stock
I was looking for this comment lol I did the same
After seeing these installed on your truck every Texas edition I see driving around looks incomplete. The crispness the LEDs add is amazing.
Went right through under the hood when I did mine, no fender well access needed.
Was a GREAT upgrade and I used LASFIT as well, there are waaaayyy cheaper ones available on ebay but Lasfit is known high quality.
Yea I did too
Not sure if yours came stock but I want to install a frnt camera that works with the existing headunit to pop on when your getting close to something while parking.
I read a lot about catch cans to be used on the direct injection engines also other options for in the grill led lights
Would love to see you put a leveling or lift kit on it.
The trail boss comes with a leveling it from factory
@@StreamerDad3D it comes with a 2" lift from the factory. Not a leveling kit, still has a rake to it.
Correct minor rake but still better than nothing
Just an FYI, I swapped mine out for LEDs yesterday and it is very easy to go through the hood to remove them so there is no need to take the screws out of the panel on either side of your truck
Have you looked into changing out the bed lights, how is it done???
I just replaced my turn signals in less than 5 minutes. No need to remove inner fender well liner. Accessibility is possible from the top.
I'd love to see some more auxillary lighting on the truck. Maybe some light bars behind the grille or some rock lights would be awesome. Another awesome and useful lights are the bed lights under the railing.
Love the videos and really give me inspiration for future projects for my truck!
Im curious. Have you considered changing your OEM LEDS for the LASFIT? Just curious how much brighter they would be
Good video. I have replaced all of the incandescent bulbs with Lasfit too. I love their products. I was to reach my blinkers from the top under the hood. 2020 Silverado RST.
Nice man did the same upgrade on my 2019 Silverado it’s been about 7 months and haven’t had any issues great product LASFIT
You should do a comparison of the different shorty antennas you can add. The long antenna is an eyesore. I have a 2021 Trail Boss.
Would love to see if there is a mod for the bow tie to be lit up.
There is one. Chevy offers it on their website I think it’s $300 or something not certain on the price.
Yeah it’s called a “Glow-Tie”
(I work for Chevy)
Have it not bright at all definitely a mistake. Have all the same setup as his front lighting wise. The bow tie was definitely a disappointment.
@@scottbartholomew8872 I have it too. And really like it. It’s just suppose to glow, not produce light.
My 2021 High Country came equipped with OEM LED front turn signals. Don’t need to upgrade them, but the rear reverse/backup lights were incandescent and replaced them with Lasfit LEDs!

I did the rear backup light and license light LasFit upgrade and I love it.

I have a 2020 Silverado and have put in level kit with new 35 inch tires but would like to see what mudflaps to go with because my tires stick out wider then flaps and causes mud streaks up the side of truck
Are the lasfit headlight bulbs any better as well?
Did you really do all that instead of just popping the hood and reaching down lol
Lol
Yeah I accessed mine from the top. No tools needed
For sure it has to be a winch with the upgraded bumper or if not a higher lift kit from Rough Country!
Great video! You just sold me on lasfit for my 2015 Silverado. For your Silverado though, id like to see you tune it for more power and to see how much fuel economy you could gain.

I’d like to see some running boards added to the Trail Boss.
I've got a 2020 High Country and you've made it more appealing for me to make modifications like the LEDs on my truck. Thanks...
Can you recommend where you bought your blacked out emblems for the trail boss?
Have you thought about the black Trail Boss sticker to replace the red and black one?
Did you level the truck ? And thanks for the LED Setup ! I will be doing the same soon.
No level yet - coming soon!
@@LonestarHawaiian I just ordered the LED lights for my 2020 Trailboss . I used your 10% off code . Thanks ! Keep up the great work!

Just replaced the turn signals and reverse lights. What a huge difference!
Do those lights stay on all the time or just used for turn signaling? To use a white and amber when signaling lasfit light?
Radar director mod. You can use it in the truck and the ZL1. It would be nice to see which brand you would go with.
It’s funny how us guys get all excited about a light bulb. It looks great by the way I’m doing this to my Tahoe ASAP.

Have you heard of the socket missing the turning piece? Mine seems to be missing. It’s just a flat piece with nothing to hold on to turn.
Your exhaust system on the Trail Boss sound sick I am looking to change mine out. I have a 2019 Z71 Silverado what do you recommend.
The light up LED bow tie would be great to add. Especially with all the LEDs already on there.
I upgraded my 2020 LT to led also, but I was able to install them from under the hood instead of the wheel liner
Have you looked into installing some of the factory options that the LT didn’t come with?
Tail boss would be cool supercharged with a cowl hood and some stanced wheels
Im waiting for a carbon fiber ram air scoop
Do you have a K&N air intake yet? Would like to hear your opinion on the before and after performance!
Did the front turns the hard way
Did you switch all lights on the trail boss to LasFit LED or just the Un-LED lights? Looking to do my lights.
How about a leveling kit or the ready lift 2” lift kit to combine with factory for a total lift of 4”?
