Very informative without being completely boring, nice job. I would even go as far as to say it was "perfect"

"Perfect" definitely is the right word here.

18:00 I tried explaining this "bass limiter" behavior on a web forum once and nobody knew what I was talking about. At least I know what sounds good and what doesn't!

This is a subaru 2022 and what is being explained isnt making sense because if this is a 7.1 channel with H&K audio, is it active 7.1. Had my car several times in the shop and the radio has no volume audio control from the radio it lags and cant use the carplay due to the resistance levels not being met. In this system are you utilizing OEM harnesses or are you T-Harnessing off and direct then tuning or what is the setup because its vague how this is setup properly to retain all correct system utilization with the aftermarket system. If you can provide a detail how it is setup it will help greatly.

Very helpful. But do you get the software and other things when you buy a dsp?

So are there no rear speakers on this car? He seems to only be tuning the sub and the front speaker or did I miss something??

How do I find a shop in Phoenix AZ that knows all this stuff and takes the time to do the job correctly like in the video. Any recommendations?

@@juliomiranda6801 idata makes one. Get the dsr1 plug and play full signal out to amps. Worked great

@@daveroski question does your Subaru have the HK system and starlink? Did you have to use the resistors he mentions? Also what dsp did you go with? Idata recommends the Rockford fosgate dsp

    • @daveroski

@@juliomiranda6801 hello, no I didn’t have to use resisters. Yeah the dsr1 is the way to go for a clean signal. I actually helped iData (worked w) to remove firmware bugs for that vehicle. They are great. It will give you a clean signal to your amps. You can use the dsr1 as dsp or set flat and use other dsp. I emailed them and they sent me a firmware file for more output for the dsr1. My Subaru sounded amazing. I have all the speakers still from cdt audio I need to sell all for that vehicle. I may have tossed the 6x9 adapter rings though :/ for rear deck. I did a lot of work on that. Sound deadening everything.i don’t have that car anymore. It was a 2022 xt touring.

@@daveroski nice man thanx for the info! i also went with cdt! and i also did the sound deadening. i will be purchasing the kit in the near future thanx!

mate if you install DSP in to your radio it will be a massive downgrade, the radio will become un-listenable trash that begs for money all the time.. don't do it!!

Factory integration is not for beginners.......at all. I have only used aftermarket radios, however, the newer cars with DSP integration, done correctly and especially the tuning process is light years ahead of stock.
