Seeing Razorfist without his aviators is just not right.

I was one of the 5 people that bought a Blu Ray player in 2011, the player came packaged with a Blu ray copy of the dark Knight and the newly released Inception and I somehow convinced the Best Buy salesman to give me Commando, Predator and Conan instead from the bargain bin...he thought I was crazy. Hundreds of respective viewing of those movie later my blu ray player is now a quantum supercomputer.

*Fun Fact:* This film's music score was composed by *James Horner,* this was when he was still trying to find his place in the composing industry, but long before _Titanic_ would ever come around.

It is a classic no the classic 80's action movie. A plot as non-existent as a politician integrity, so much macho that the only wat to kill it is to chain it to a great white covered in dynamite and drop it into a volcano and more classic one liners than Groucho Marx. Watching this and Die Hard back to back would give a bronze statue wood.
Razorfist keep up the great work.

The movie explains why Matrix's former team members were being killed off.
They were being killed off by the former dictator of Valverde whom Matrix's team deposed. And they faked Bennet's death, so he could work for the dictator and get back at Matrix. He hated Matrix because Matrix kicked him out of the unit.

    •  5 років тому +4

Nah... The reason Matrix threw Bennett out of his unit was because Bennett finally came out of the closet.

Just watched this movie and it's amazing, the script is very clever and well made, it's great fun and tight action, but it's really a product of its time. I'm thoroughly enjoying it whilst also really being amazed by the American style lack if realistic character moments. The women isn't constantly in total panic. She straight up becomes good sidekick, totally on board with using rocket launchers on cops and flying him to an island to murder everyone... and the girl after being kidnapped and seeing a guy get impaled is obviously not traumatised in any way... the whole movie is like that but it's still a masterpiece that knows exactly what it is.

Gotta love the over-dramatized death throes :D Were the script-writers contractually obligated to put in the dad puns by "The Arnold?" He seems to get those lines in...most of the films in which I've seen him.

Solomon Drebin it would have been on ninitendo, and it would have SUCKED. think rambo for NES, then remove even more plot.

Honestly Razorfist's style of reviewing is very different from tgwtg.
He doesn't waste time on bullshit "comedy" skits and just focuses on the review.

Thank you for reminding me, the whole Heath Ledger (RIP) Joker bit about using a knife to see the person's reaction, Arnold did it decades earlier.
