I live near the Wabash River in Indiana and had never heard of this flood until the Lafayette, IN newspaper had an article a week before the 100th anniversary. The first casualty of the flooding which occurred on Wildcat Creek is about 4 miles from my home. A fascinating mostly forgotten piece of history that deserves a full length documentary.
