@@nenon_night The jacket of the wire needs to be seated underneath the block that crimps down onto it. If the jacket is cut too far back, the connector won't crimp onto it, and the only thing holding the connector on will be the wire connections. While it might work for a bit, these wires are easy to break, sometimes in a non-obvious way because only a single wire fails.
As an expert the clamp shouldn’t be on the copper wires. The clamp has to be on the plastic sheath because when pulling it’ll expose more copper that will likely cause OSI Layer 1 problems. The only part of the modular plug that should be having contact with the copper wiring is the splices which sends electrical signals to the network.
No. Normal patch cables use the following order with pin side up: OW, O, GW, Bl, BlW, G, BrW, Br. Basically the green white and blue white wires are swapped.
@@teddybear7853connector is basically same it’s just the back side is lil thicker in Cat 6 connectors to accommodate thicker cat 6 cable with jacket and all to give good anchor but Cat 5 connectors work perfectly as they all are RJ45 at the end.
What a smooth straightening it is ❤

No. Normal patch cables use the following order with pin side up: OW, O, GW, Bl, BlW, G, BrW, Br. Basically the green white and blue white wires are swapped.

This is Cat5 connector and cut your fingernails
both cat5 and cat6 use rj45, there's no such thing as a cat5 connector
@@nefariou5 yes there is. When you're buying rj45 connector you need to choose which one
