Nice video. Nice closeup of the crimping tool showing it crimping the plastic wedge against the cable jacket, and showing how the 8 mandrels on the other side of the tool push down on the 8 pins that pierce the insulation on each wire and connect to the copper wire. Looks like a good crimping tool. I has double leverage; many tools have single leverage. It pushes straight down on the pins, with parallel force on each pin - some other tools come down at an angle. It looks like you put a CAT5e 8p8c male plug on CAT6 wire. This may be satisfactory in some circumstances however if you wanted to put a CAT6 8p8c male plug (with staggered holes for the wires) on the CAT6 cable I'm wondering if you would need a special CAT6 crimping tool for that.

I used 20mtr cat 6 cable to extend network. When I plugged it to my laptop, am getting only 20mbps from a 100mbs connection from router. Is this loss of internet speed over lan cable normal?
