I'm totally with you on keeping planner and wallet separate. Maybe I have issues, but I don't want the dirty cash to be right next to my precious planner, lol! (Ok, I guess that is kind of weird.) But you made a great point about the coins. It's just easier for me to have a separate wallet. I also don't like the idea of undated planners or creating my own layouts. But I'm sort of making an exception when I get my spring Weeks. I'm going to make a February monthly layout and weekly layouts in the notes section so that I can use it right away. I saw a video where someone did that, and I think that's a fantastic idea. I just can't wait to start using it!
+sandrameander Yay, you know what I mean about the planner/wallet issue! I feel exactly the same about the cash. Money and cards and other wallet stuff somehow seem grimy and ugly next to our beautiful planners! I totally get it. I know exactly what you mean about starting the Weeks early - I think I saw the same video; it's an awesome idea! Hope yours arrives soon :)
this is a great video. a lot of planner stuff is personal preference, subjective, according to one's own particular needs ( & desires...) et cetera but there are some common planner trends which, while I wholeheartedly respect, simply do not work for me.
+Iblame Summers Thanks so much! Yes, I feel like there are a lot of things that we see on UA-cam and feel like we should do too, but they don't always end up working out!
Vegan Organizer I try to trust my Instincts. I'm sure you do as well. I have, for lack of a better term, 'Planner Pet Peeves,' but I tend to roll my eyes & ignore those.
+Pamala Hanson I love that idea! I really tried to work out a way of doing the same thing, but I couldn't get it to fit because I like having the daily timeline in the Cousin for work. I'd be so curious to see your setup!
+mysummertouch I knew you could get the English A6 version (at Foyles the bookshop), but I haven't heard of anywhere else that has them. Do you know of another source?! If so, I will have to go and investigate!!!
mysummertouch Aah, so sad! I was hoping there was a new source lol. I went to Foyles last year to see them, but they were already sold out. In any case, I like the Japanese versions better than the English one - but you've given me an idea; maybe this year they've got a bigger selection?! I should check!
Why are you not using the SSACK cover for your cousin anymore? Is there something you don't like about it? Asking bc I've been thinking about getting one :)
+Nyckelpiga I've had quite a dilemma with the Cousin SSACK cover! I love it to bits, but there's one problem with it: it's a magnet for dust, fur, crumbs, etc. I used it for about three months and I never thought I'd switch despite the fact that it got dirty so easily. The only reason I switched is because I found this purple faux leather Hobo cover, which was something I had wished existed since I got into Hobonichis. I still didn't want to give up the SSACK, but I decided to try the faux leather cover and it was so nice not to have to worry about it attracting dirt that I have stayed with it. However, it does make me sad not to use the SSACK because it's such a great cover in all other respects - lightweight, beautiful-looking, etc. So I'd say it's definitely worth getting, as long as you know that it gathers dirt so easily. (It's also very easy to clean, but you have to wipe it off a lot!)
+Nanna Rintakorpi Hahaha! They are expensive, especially with customs fees :( But now I'm addicted so there's no going back! I fee like they're worth it because I enjoy them so much all year. Hope you love yours!

OMG that argument booklet is a tremendous idea! I should make one for me and Jawaid. Love love love it!
Thanks so much! Really glad you liked the idea :)
I like having my 2 weeks planners one for personal and other is work. I leave it at work and always carry my personal weeks.
+Pamala Hanson I love that idea! I really tried to work out a way of doing the same thing, but I couldn't get it to fit because I like having the daily timeline in the Cousin for work. I'd be so curious to see your setup!
hi Lilly! Did you know that you could buy a hobonichi in London? I just discovered that
+mysummertouch I knew you could get the English A6 version (at Foyles the bookshop), but I haven't heard of anywhere else that has them. Do you know of another source?! If so, I will have to go and investigate!!!
+Vegan Organizer no, just about that one, I saw it on hobonichi site.
