Thanks for the shoutout Elsa! 😄 This video was a great crash course for anyone looking to get into bullet journaling in a very functional way 💪 Oh and you know we fo' sho' wanna see that reading journal 😂👌
Elsa I'm 61 years old and have never heard of a bullet journal but oh my god I need to make one.I think I have ADHD that causes me to need to write multiple lists of things I need to do,things I want to do ,and things I should be doing.Thank you for your inspiration.❤
Yes! 67 here and only found Bullet Journaling a few years ago. It does help my adhd which I only realized I had a few years ago. So wonderful to have everything in one place. Sometimes I call it my brain.
Amen. Turned 80 in October and found it a Huge adjustment . For quite some time I've had some hea lol th issues and been kinda 'lost' and really want to get out of this rut. Will bullet journaling help? Can only try.
Elsa, thank you for sharing and please share more. I bought a bullet journal years ago still have it on my desk but don’t use it because I’m a perfectionist and I don’t like my writing so I tell myself I won’t like how it looks before even starting. I love the way you explain things in simple terms and so maybe I’ll start for 2025 and let myself just be ok with how it looks.
Hehehe I totally and completely understand this. It’s like sticker dilemma where you never ever use a sheet of stickers because you always wanna save them for JUST the right thing but that thing never comes. Cool thing is you can start a new journal after this one! And another one and another one! You’ll never know what you like until you start! But again, I completely understand.
@@ElsaRhae you do make it look simple though. It makes me realize I must be suffering from brain fog! I love the book journal idea. I often loose my designated journal. It' s fun to see how easy it is for you to write down all those dates by hand 😅 My attention span for such a task 🙈 I would love to try though. I'm guessing there's Virgo somewhere hidden in there
I actually found your channel few days ago and I was really looking for something updated Thank you soooo much for taking the time to create us this invaluable content♥️
I've never done bullet journaling before, although it seems like a great system. I love handwritten to-do lists and planners, but my struggle is combining that with daily goal and habit tracking and sticking to it. This looks like it could be the ultimate solution. Thank you for the detailed video!! 😊
Haven't bullet journaled in years, but you've re-inspired me and shown me how beautiful simplicity can be! Thank you! I plan to take it up again in 2025.
I love minimalist journals so much. Thank you for sharing. I am at 3 notebooks a year. I think it's because I like adding postcards or memory ephemera such as a receipt or part of an envelope that will trigger my memory when I see them. At least 2 notebooks a year is a goal for me.
LOVE the idea of adding ephemera. Used to do more of it when we traveled. Sounds like an amazing journaling practice you’ve got going on to go through 3 books a year!!!
I loved this, thank you so much. I remember vividly watching your older bullet journal videos. I’d love to see your reading journal too. Jashii is the best, isn’t she? I love all the amazing spreads she does and everyone does, I enjoy watching BuJo and reading journal videos, but I like to keep mine simple. I have an artistic practice which is a huge part of my life but I do that in sketchbooks and on paper or other substrates. My journals are for organization, record keeping, reflection, dreaming, and keeping myself company I guess. Thanks so much Elsa, I’ve been looking forward to this video. 💜
Thanks for sharing this is so interesting. I would like to see how you did your book journal. I had once bought a bullet journal but i think I felt overwhelmed by all the dots. Lol! My brain is very detailed so it was just like omg how am I going to do this. I immediately gave up. But i never really thought about all the different ideas you showed. Thanks again for sharing Elsa!
Love the idea o of journaling and did it for many years. I must tell you keeping it up in the way you have experienced and trained your creative mind to... will be difficult with a newborn on the scene. In my life that first (out of 4 babies ) was a time where someone other than me needed me with full attention to actually sustain their ilife . It was a hell of an enlightening experience:when some time passed I could come back to myself, I had learned a lot.
Thank you so much for this video. This is sooo much simpler for a beginner than I've seen before. I don't have an artistic bone in my body and wanted to start bullet journaling a couple of years ago. I bought supplies and all of it is in a bag hidden somewhere. After watching many videos, I was completely overwhelmed because it just seemed so difficult. Thanks again. Much love to you, Barron, the little one and the furry ones. Merry Christmas!!
Thank you so much for sharing these pages and all the heart and intention that goes into this. You were the first to show me how fun, simple, and scientific this practice could be!
Elsa, thank you, thank you, thank you! My sister is so stressed. I really believe, in my heart, this will help her. ❤ You two have a happy & healthy holiday! 💖
Elsa this vid is excellent! I usually use some stamps for some shortcuts when I can. You might like a common planner because the monthlies are done for you but there are lots of blank grid pages to fill however you like. Journaling really helps organize the thoughts, I feel like mine are all over the place otherwise, and my stress is too high. All the best!
So Helpful!! I’ve been testing BUJO with blank pages for a couple of months but decided to purchase a pre-printed planner but set-up similar to your method. And hybrid with my IPhone for Master Detailed Task Manager, Master Detailed Calendar, Detailed Projects in NOTES (BUJO Collections). Love how artistic Jenn’s BUJOs are but just not for me. I used your sleep & mood tracking during my testing period but plan to tweak in my pre-printed planner that comes with a tracker section. We traveled around Europe in our small camper 2017-2021 but now live on the island of Madeira. Planning to get our camper back on the road during the summers for a few months with some shorter trips during the rest of the year. I just found you while reviewing BUJO videos.
I've been bullet journaling for several years now. I used to buy big fancy planners but they were so big and fussy and I wanted something more suited to exactly what I need. It's so interesting to see how other people set up their bujos!
This is so amazing I loved this video. Thank you for sharing, now it’s off into the rabbit hole of learning about the beautiful artistic practice of Bullet Journaling! 💕
Thank you so much for this video❤ now there is a big transformation ahead (baby❤) and time will be a lot tighter to find the right moments for journaling and any other selfcare rituals. My son is 8 now and my daughter 2 years old and I totally lost my self because of motherhood. And now I find my self in a very overwhelming state that isn't good for me and the rest of the family so I have to relearn being good to myself 😅 Wish you all the best in life🕊️
We must go through many many phases of relearning how to be good to ourselves as our lives change. Our needs are ever evolving. Hoping you can find the time to give yourself the care you deserve!
It's been a few years since the last bujo video and I was so happy when you said you'd do an update video on it. Thanks Elsa! Your bujos inspired me so much ❤
Thanks for sharing. I was always intrigued when you journaled and wondered how you did it. Finally caught you live a wonderful way to end my evening hearing your voice.
I loved your bullet journaling videos and satisfied following your simple and practical journalling methods. And this video is also great and gave me some additional and exciting ideas such as 300 wants. I would love to try it out and looking forward to cross out ones that are achieved.😊❤ Cheers.
Very cool video Elsa! Now you have me wondering if I should start a Cdrama journal since I’ve watched over 70 so far☺️. Hugs and love to you guys always!💖💙💖💙💖
How many books have you read in 2024? I’ve always wanted to bullet journal, but for some reason my autistic/ADHD brain doesn’t like it… this year I’m gonna try to do it on my computer and see if it carries on any further than a week.
@@ElsaRhae good for you! 45 is nothing to sneeze at…. i’ve heard of a couple of different companies that are putting out digital bullet journals or calendars, or something that you can morph into a bullet journal…. So I’ll take some time and explore it
Give it a try! Handwritten or electrons, just do it & feel free to experiment until you find what works for you. I have dyslexia and had a hard time figuring out how to journal or do regular writing. A while back I saw the video Elsa did on bullet journaling & was intrigued because I thought her method made more sense than others I had seen. The method I ended up doing is in an A6 pocket journal (the size of Field Notes booklet). I use one booklet per quarter (3 months) because I like the size & it is always with me in my pocket. Because it’s only 3 months I use the future log rolling 12 months forward. 🙃
