Wanted to do a throwback since I haven't touched Project Zomboid in about a year, but with some of the amazing mods that have been created by the amazing mod authors for Project Zomboid - please check the description for the full list :)
I'd love to see you try out the "Please Don't Feed the Zombies" mod. It makes it so that corpses will attract zombies, including zombie corpses. It's a small mod but really changes how you play
I think the recent mechanic added-that corpses now have a chance of being "fake" dead and getting back up once you walk past them after a few days-has had basically the same effect as that mod (for me anyway). No more leaving "corpses" around and risking that, yeesh.
@@assatgames9567 That mechanic existed in earlier versions of the game. I remember getting duped by it years ago. I wasn't aware it was removed, I just thought I wasn't surviving long enough in CDDA mode to see them spawn. I always kept an eye on the roads, though, since that was their preferred spawning point back in the day. Zombies by default still do have a chance to be attracted to dead things left out on the map without the mod mentioned. So anyone who doesn't want the mod should be aware that the "very lite" version of it exists already as part of the game's core.
from how far away does it attract zombies, and how fast do they come? with respawns off it could be a good way to lure them to a killsite far from your base...
Pro tip: Always take the ammo OUT of the ammo canisters, as you'll likely never use the canisters themselves, and because the canisters weight a considerate amount.
I always carry one or two them, as extra storage (equip on left and right hand aka, ill be vunerable), that is if i forgot to bring my extra backpacks along.
Everytime I want to play this game I'm crushed by the learning curve. These videos really change your mind in giving the game another attempt. Love it. Edit: game's got me hooked. Survived my first month!
What got me through the learning curve was first installing a no zombie mod so I could explore the mechanics of the game before doing a run. I also suggest doing custom difficulty settings and giving yourself handicaps until you feel you can comfortably survive and taking them away one by one. You will inevitably die a lot making stupid mistakes but each mistake is a new lesson learned and eventually, by process of elimination, you will figure out how to survive even the harshest conditions.
@@SkeleTonHammer This is actually a genius idea. It's like playing a fighting game for the first time but your friend doesn't give you a chance to get the hang of the controls or practice

I really enjoy the direction you’ve taken your channel, with lots of one off challenges that are all narratively complete. They’re like delightful little media meals that don’t linger on too long, for me or for you. I could absolutely feel you getting bored in some of your longer series. Your PZ playthroughs were how I discovered your content, and there's something really great about how you narrate your journey in the game. As always the editing and production is great. I could watch these all day.
Ngl wasn't expecting a sequel to the challenge where you stay at one house. That was one of my favorite challenges and as always you kill it with the narration.
These new Zomboid videos have spurred me into a frenzy. Started my own server, modded it to all Hell, held it in Cherbourg (which I’ve never played on), and invited all my buddies to play on it. Really excited to get it started now that I’ve finished troubleshooting all of the mods.
I was coming back to AA to search some old PZ like the worst start since it's been so long, but my cravings seem to be affecting AA as well and he blessed us with a new PZ video! Thank you good sir!
This is what I wanted accumulator to be. Will definitely be doing this myself later today. Thank you for gracing my weekend with your video Ambiguous Amphibian. :)
Started watching your channel because of PZ but got hooked on other stuff like RC Tycoon and especially Sims, still it’s always a pleasure seeing you coming back to PZ once in a while
I've never played this game myself, but I do love watching you play it. Somehow you make it look easy, although my brother has explained how not-easy the game truly is xD Honestly love all your one-off narrative videos, just love how you narrate your activities. :3
I swear you make this game look easy. Every time I watch one of your videos, I try to play PZ again and then immediately realize why the game is much more fun for me to watch than to play lol.
i’ve waited so long for you to continue PZ, found your channel this time last year randomly through your PZ videos and i binged them to get me through a break up. So happy right now!!!
Man it’s been awhile since the last Project Zomboid video. Those challenges were so fun and enjoyable that I was a bit sad when you didn’t post them anymore. Thanks for making those videos, it made me decide to buy the game and I never regretted it :)
Great editing, good choice of music, nice concise clips of gameplay footage that give us an idea of what each section was like without going into too much depth. Good video AA.
Thanks for dispensing such fine and grey matter massaging content. Truly appreciate the quality introspection which has led my dearest paramour to indulge in your robust ethereal pros at my side.
Who would've thought that the best storyteller on UA-cam is an frog that plays Zomboid 🐸 Stumbled upon one of your videos and became a fan instantly... This is high quality stuff!
Literally just picked up your worst start series and it just happens to coincide with fresh PZ content. Awesome. Youre the reason Ive now sank fifty hours and counting into this game and I learned a lot watching you so far. Thanks for the content!
A friend of mine told me about your channel and I've been watching a bunch of your videos. I like em a lot. They're oddly calming sometimes and really funny when you start waxing philosophically.
As someone who is from Knox country, not having knob creek gun range being huge (it’s displayed as West Point gun range in game, which actually isn’t located in West Point itself, but a little farther south and east) is a crying shame. Also not having an abundance of UPS trucks and planes is also disheartening. Which the game had a DLC where you could visit the horse track and make a bourbon distillery😂.
Also, as being originally from Pittsburgh and having fallout 76 partially take place there, it’s neat having to video games where I can read a place on its map and go “i know exactly where that is
"Hey I've seen this one before it's a classic!" In all seriousness though even without watching the video yet I am quite excited to see a followup attempt on the video that first made me aware Project Zomboid even existed
It was Project Zomboid that brought me to this channel and I'm glad O chose to stay. AA's ability to transform a zombie apocalypse in a chill time is amazing
What I really love about Amphibians videos is not just the amazing gameplay and story telling, But his vocabulary, There is just something satisfying about a well spoken and incredible sounding voiceover. Ambiguous amphibian the Vocabularian.
YES! Found you from the PZ gameplay and it’s always lovely to see throwback videos :) I don’t expect them all the time, as I love the newer content too but stuff like this is always a welcome surprise!
I'm so happy to see you come back to this game. This was how I first found your channel and that was 10 minutes of sheer joy. I've loved your other stuff don't get me wrong but I hope you've got some other ideas for PZ too :)
To be honest I missed you making these videos. These are my favorite that you make and i started watching you because I loved these videos you made. Please make more. Regardless love the videos man ❤
man i will never forget that kafka monologue you did in that one zomboid series.. i must have watched it 5 times by now the intersection between comedy and poetry and video games is a very tiny plot of water with you in it and it is Appreciated
I know this is an old video but, imagine doing this challenge with the Scrap Weapons, Guns and Armor Mods. You would be able to make Scrap Shotguns, Pistols, Rifles and a Scrap Gatling Gun (that is in the mod) that would only require Scrap Ammo which is quite easy to make. On top of that you would also be able to make Scrap Armor which is Bite Proof so you wouldn't need to worry about being bitten while fighting
Thank you for being the UA-camr which I always use to go to sleep to. Since about a year now nearly everyday I sleep to ur videos. Your voice is just so soothing and 10-30 mins Videos is always great for me to fall asleep. Really just thank you, great videos 🙏
I've owned this game for many years. Back during closed testing. I maybe put an hour in (dont question). The fog of war/line of sight and other little quirks were getting to me. After watching about a dozen PZ videos you've made, I'm going to give it another shot with a different outlook. Thank you for these videos!
Would actually recommend finding a striker and modding the hell out of it. With max reloading it loads faster than it shoots and doesn't need to be cycled if you load it from empty. Catch is it has next to no durability and starts jamming after very little use.
Just in case you don't know, you can back a vehicle up to another (So that their bumpers are close to touching) and press 'V' when standing between them to attach them, allowing you to pull vehicles like you're pulling a trailer. Also works with trailers. Reason I'm saying that is because it's way, way smoother, faster, and easier than pushing the car, and you won't damage yours by slamming into the rear end of a car or wreck you want to move. (Also just wanna say I love your PZ vids bro keep up the good work)

the commitment to a comment here is more than i give to most things in life
@@aIexemre i literally spent hours doing that for a measly 35 likes lmao
sometimes you just dont win :P
Your PZ playthroughs were how I discovered your content, and there's something really great about how you narrate your journey in the game. As always the editing and production is great. I could watch these all day.
Ngl wasn't expecting a sequel to the challenge where you stay at one house. That was one of my favorite challenges and as always you kill it with the narration.
Gerald Williams is such an inspiration for me that this is a welcome video
2 seconds in and he says the words "among us", further proving his hidden urge to exclusively make Among Us content.
These new Zomboid videos have spurred me into a frenzy.
Started my own server, modded it to all Hell, held it in Cherbourg (which I’ve never played on), and invited all my buddies to play on it. Really excited to get it started now that I’ve finished troubleshooting all of the mods.
I enjoy your content, I wish I could watch it for days! Your vernacular makes even the most mundane of tales into a masterful epic.
That jump cut at 4:28 of you just onloading on zombies was great man. Good laughs
I’m so happy u are posting these Project Zomboid videos I love them so much and have been missing them. Much love dude
The truck struggling to get over the corpse pile lmao
I was coming back to AA to search some old PZ like the worst start since it's been so long, but my cravings seem to be affecting AA as well and he blessed us with a new PZ video! Thank you good sir!
I was legit expecting the game to crash. I’m impressed it didn’t.
Not to mention how I’m always impressed with your mastery of this game!
I've missed Ambigous playing Project zomboid, I think it suits he's content creation really well
"Night 6 to 8 proved easy going,"
*BRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTT*
Had me a good chuckle. Fantastic content.
Loved the commentary! Perfect timing and delivery!
The best starter house I've ever seen
This is what I wanted accumulator to be. Will definitely be doing this myself later today. Thank you for gracing my weekend with your video Ambiguous Amphibian. :)
Started watching your channel because of PZ but got hooked on other stuff like RC Tycoon and especially Sims, still it’s always a pleasure seeing you coming back to PZ once in a while
I've never played this game myself, but I do love watching you play it. Somehow you make it look easy, although my brother has explained how not-easy the game truly is xD Honestly love all your one-off narrative videos, just love how you narrate your activities. :3
I'm very impressed by how you went about this challenge, seeing you used mods helps me see how you found military supplies. Very intuitive as usual
i swear these challenges get more and more insane each time i tune in to our amphibious friend lol
Okay. Listening to this at work sounds like a man telling his story of being in an actual zombie apocalypse and I love it
So, so, so happy to see Project Zomboid content again
Can you imagine the amount of work that went into this video? Not only it's well-played but also well-said and shown. Thank you, AA!
Thank you for bringing the apocalypse to Kentucky, Unknown Iguana, it's a refreshing change from our normal residents, sir.
My main man made Zomboid look like a solo Rimworld playthrough. I respect that.
man it's nice seeing Ambiguous amphibian playing PZ again💙
I swear you make this game look easy. Every time I watch one of your videos, I try to play PZ again and then immediately realize why the game is much more fun for me to watch than to play lol.
Do my eyes deceive me? A project zomboid video? We’re eating good tonight boys
i’ve waited so long for you to continue PZ, found your channel this time last year randomly through your PZ videos and i binged them to get me through a break up. So happy right now!!!

Man it’s been awhile since the last Project Zomboid video. Those challenges were so fun and enjoyable that I was a bit sad when you didn’t post them anymore.
Thanks for making those videos, it made me decide to buy the game and I never regretted it :)
Ah yes My Monthly Ambiguous Amphibian Intake
Great editing, good choice of music, nice concise clips of gameplay footage that give us an idea of what each section was like without going into too much depth. Good video AA.
Your entire description of your experience was so entertaining to watch and listen to. Amazing video.
I wouldn't call using the fire "cheese" that shit was smart. I'm gonna try that shit lol.
Could we get longer episodes like before?? they were so good
He has a VOD channel
So much time boiled down. Always quality here.
love project z videos AA!
Thanks for dispensing such fine and grey matter massaging content. Truly appreciate the quality introspection which has led my dearest paramour to indulge in your robust ethereal pros at my side.
This is what dudes in the NRA think they look like. Full tactical gear, suppressed automatics, pouches full of magazines, godlike reload speeds.
Who would've thought that the best storyteller on UA-cam is an frog that plays Zomboid 🐸
Stumbled upon one of your videos and became a fan instantly... This is high quality stuff!
Yessss more pz hell yeah love u
My dopamine increased significantly after finding out there's a new video
you know that the video will be good when it starts with ''among us''
Literally just picked up your worst start series and it just happens to coincide with fresh PZ content. Awesome. Youre the reason Ive now sank fifty hours and counting into this game and I learned a lot watching you so far. Thanks for the content!
among us?!?
Sounds like you're doing this Armor Game The Last Stand style with the scavenging hours and the defending hours
Also, as being originally from Pittsburgh and having fallout 76 partially take place there, it’s neat having to video games where I can read a place on its map and go “i know exactly where that is
Also there is a cool civil war earth fort in West Point, that would habpve been a cool place to add
"Hey I've seen this one before it's a classic!"
In all seriousness though even without watching the video yet I am quite excited to see a followup attempt on the video that first made me aware Project Zomboid even existed
It was Project Zomboid that brought me to this channel and I'm glad O chose to stay. AA's ability to transform a zombie apocalypse in a chill time is amazing
I am so excited, Amphibian playing PZ again is just the Christmas Joy I needed.
PZ: "This is the story about how you died"
AA: "Hold my beer!"
What I really love about Amphibians videos is not just the amazing gameplay and story telling, But his vocabulary, There is just something satisfying about a well spoken and incredible sounding voiceover. Ambiguous amphibian the Vocabularian.
I'd love to see you play more projects zomboid from just survival runs to more challenges like this. I really enjoy these videos.
This was so good! Mighty fine shooting and base construction. May the fire burn away the dead forever indeed.
Nothing hits quite like ambiguousamphibian dropping a project zomboid video 🙏
Project Zomboid videos of you are wonderfull! ABSOLUTELY WONDERFULL!
YES! Found you from the PZ gameplay and it’s always lovely to see throwback videos :)
I don’t expect them all the time, as I love the newer content too but stuff like this is always a welcome surprise!
I'm so happy to see you come back to this game. This was how I first found your channel and that was 10 minutes of sheer joy. I've loved your other stuff don't get me wrong but I hope you've got some other ideas for PZ too :)
When you take the quarantine orders a little to seriously
“The living dead are walking among us”
He said the funny.
He said among us!
To be honest I missed you making these videos. These are my favorite that you make and i started watching you because I loved these videos you made. Please make more. Regardless love the videos man ❤
Only recently got into PZ and oh my god, I love your videos. Always giving me new ideas while playing the game and the way you narrate kills me 😂
" Living dead, walking among us "
True terror right there
man i will never forget that kafka monologue you did in that one zomboid series.. i must have watched it 5 times by now
the intersection between comedy and poetry and video games is a very tiny plot of water with you in it and it is Appreciated
Your PZ videos are what let me to find/get hooked on your channel. I'm elated for this video 30 seconds in!
Such a classic game for AA to play along with RimWorld. Loved this video, wish I had the time to play PZ for this long.
AA's supercut commentary videos are such perfect entertainment and also meditation material, ngl
Thank you for being the UA-camr which I always use to go to sleep to. Since about a year now nearly everyday I sleep to ur videos. Your voice is just so soothing and 10-30 mins Videos is always great for me to fall asleep.
Really just thank you, great videos 🙏
I missed these challenges so much! I loved the pz challenge series as well! So glad to hear your soothing voice again
I've owned this game for many years. Back during closed testing. I maybe put an hour in (dont question). The fog of war/line of sight and other little quirks were getting to me. After watching about a dozen PZ videos you've made, I'm going to give it another shot with a different outlook. Thank you for these videos!
No more hellos, this makes me lugubrious and forlorn
I have waited 1000 days for this video
