Sus?
Sussy baka!
These videos are way too short. Please bring back the good old days of 20 to 30 minute videos
AA makes literally everything sound like a chill life vlog
i hope its the fully automatic Amphibian-12 with the 20 round magazine
Hey hey people
*loses exactly 1kg* "im slowly dying from starvationx.X" it b like that lmao
why is the fostech origin 12 not more pouplar?
Arean makes it sound like he is some hardcore zombie killer, while Amphibian just calming sits down and tells you about his zombie defense endeavours.
I'd love to see you try out the "Please Don't Feed the Zombies" mod. It makes it so that corpses will attract zombies, including zombie corpses. It's a small mod but really changes how you play
I think the recent mechanic added-that corpses now have a chance of being "fake" dead and getting back up once you walk past them after a few days-has had basically the same effect as that mod (for me anyway). No more leaving "corpses" around and risking that, yeesh.
@@assatgames9567 it's much worse. A single corpse can turn into 5 when it attracts zombies
@@assatgames9567 That mechanic existed in earlier versions of the game. I remember getting duped by it years ago. I wasn't aware it was removed, I just thought I wasn't surviving long enough in CDDA mode to see them spawn. I always kept an eye on the roads, though, since that was their preferred spawning point back in the day.
Zombies by default still do have a chance to be attracted to dead things left out on the map without the mod mentioned. So anyone who doesn't want the mod should be aware that the "very lite" version of it exists already as part of the game's core.
from how far away does it attract zombies, and how fast do they come? with respawns off it could be a good way to lure them to a killsite far from your base...
I just assumed this was the case and was always festidious about burying bodies lamo
Pro tip:
Always take the ammo OUT of the ammo canisters, as you'll likely never use the canisters themselves, and because the canisters weight a considerate amount.
I always carry one or two them, as extra storage (equip on left and right hand aka, ill be vunerable), that is if i forgot to bring my extra backpacks along.
I would say that added weight is very inconsiderate :D.
@@jimhaney6384 It adds up, fast.
The canister itself weighs like 0.75-1, which is a relatively considerate amount
@@vaultboye Wouldn't it be considerable?
@@jimhaney6384 no, the weight of the canister is just a really nice guy
Honestly, his day 1 progress was some of the fastest eventful progress I've seen in a minute
pretty sure it was preset
Yeah, and the first night is never usually that bad in any of the games.
In case anyones wondering, that’s 48800 zombies just in the nightly waves. Considering the zombies killed scavenging, I wouldn’t be surprised if ambiguous killed 50,000 zombies. That’s an average town. If he lives in a town there shouldn’t be any more people left to become zombies
Everytime I want to play this game I'm crushed by the learning curve. These videos really change your mind in giving the game another attempt. Love it.
Edit: game's got me hooked. Survived my first month!
Keep going, and only mod gradually and when you feel like it, it’s really worth it - stick with it :)
What got me through the learning curve was first installing a no zombie mod so I could explore the mechanics of the game before doing a run. I also suggest doing custom difficulty settings and giving yourself handicaps until you feel you can comfortably survive and taking them away one by one. You will inevitably die a lot making stupid mistakes but each mistake is a new lesson learned and eventually, by process of elimination, you will figure out how to survive even the harshest conditions.
I found his channel because of his PZ challenge videos and he makes it look so easy... Tried playing myself and realized how difficult the game was
@@SkeleTonHammer This is actually a genius idea. It's like playing a fighting game for the first time but your friend doesn't give you a chance to get the hang of the controls or practice
@@Mysticfateee It honestly gets a bit boring. Partially as the sims at least has others to interact with 😅. A nice mix is to cripple zombies: make them weaker, turn off the infection (you can only die from pure injuries), and optionally disable respawn!
Over a million subs? Man, I'm so proud of you. I can't believe how far you've come. When we first spoke, you had, what, 1,000? You did it, man. You made it. Congrats!
Feels like only yesterday, my friend :)
I appreciate the wholesomeness here
I always find these videos weirdly motivational? As someone who just can never see the point in anything, it’s so cool seeing someone have so much fun on a dumb game challenge, and improving skills by just… doing them.
Thought I was the only one, bro. Existential crisis once again...so let's watch an AA Zomboid video lol
This guy's got a gift stg
I love how arcade-y these mods made the game feel, super engaging and always makes me want to go back into the game
It's nuts how zomboid can go from long term immersive farming Sim to arcadey modes like this. The modding community is amazing
@@mak27456hk is r😢
Wow that felt like three minutes not eleven! I've been putting off redoing my mod list but this is making me want to play tonight.
The truest challenge in PZ
That's a completed Dead Rising Megabuster unlock at the end of that video. 54k Kills. Whew. Also the Epidemic Sound library expansion is really doing work for the theme of this video. Its just got that vibe... even if there is a shitload of zombies coming to eat brains.
You always make this game look more fun than I ever have with it.
Right? im always succumbing to fatigue after fights and bored/depressed from recovering indoors
This game has potential but is just so LAME vanilla
@@twitchy.mp3 i'm pretty sure he debugs his games
@@twitchy.mp3Just gotta git gud at managing moodles honestly, depression really shouldn’t be an issue outside of the first couple days.
@@connorbranscombe6819 genuinely don't know how people struggle with depression ingame its so easy to tend to
@@arkh-155 I know eh, literally just eat a chocolate bar, find some antidespressants, read one of the 50 thousand books/comics you can find in dumpsters.
This was so much fun to watch, I've never played Project Zomboid but this makes me want to give it a try!
Should get in a sesh :)
It feels weird to imagine this being a return to Zomboid, since Zomboid is what I watch of yours most of the time.
2 seconds in and he says the words "among us", further proving his hidden urge to exclusively make Among Us content.
I really enjoy the direction you’ve taken your channel, with lots of one off challenges that are all narratively complete. They’re like delightful little media meals that don’t linger on too long, for me or for you. I could absolutely feel you getting bored in some of your longer series. That being said, could you put some of them into playlists so I can binge when trying to sleep? Maybe sorted by game, or maybe by type of challenge, or whatever seems artistically appropriate. I just like your new content better, and want to support your new artistic direction, instead of hearing the 56th retelling of The Tale Of Torsolo or something and throwing off your analytics.
It's interesting to read your opinion on the newer content, since I'm favouring the older videos. I really liked the longer narratives and the philosophical/theological questions-that-nobody-needed-an-answer-to. The newer content, to me, kinda lost it's punch and feels more generic and hollow. Still better than most of the other creators, because AA, but still.
I guess this short form / one-off content works better for the algorithm and pulls in more viewers. Guess you are right that having those challenges is easier on the creator, too. They don't have to commit to a long series that might not even be popular
@@DiscoBroccoli 100% agree. I miss the philosophical ramblings we all came to know and love AA for, but if he's moved on from that then we'll have to, too. I would say find someone else and just add them to your subscriptions, but we all know no one talks like AA but AA himself... I believe that was the charming aspect that allowed players to fall asleep while listening, but I fear that AA took those compliments the wrong way.
@@hexxidelux6224 Yeah, I'm always looking for good gaming content. Feel free to share some of your favourites with me, if you want.
But this here seems to be a general direction that creators often head to while growing their channel. It's either 3 hours of raw twitch VOD, half of which is thanking the chat for subscriptions; or short videos, often highly edited, sometimes meme-y
@@DiscoBroccoli I'd actually find some of the philosophy-that-nobody-needed-an-answer-to, particularly in the latter half of longer series, to sort of... overstay its welcome? Don't get me wrong, I like the wacky philosophy, it's AA and it's a delight. It's just at some point it feels like word salad that's padding out the video for time instead of getting at any kind of point, be it philosophical or comedic or otherwise. Then the series would pick up again for the finale of (usually) complete existential insanity, which I find a blast. Idk, maybe I'm seeing things, but I definitely felt like he was running out of things he wanted to say, but kept talking because he felt like he had to.
I'm sorry his newer content isn't to your taste, though, it's always a pity when creators' visions (or pressure from the algorithm) push them away from making what you like.
@@DiscoBroccolii like the Philosophical longer videos as well
AA is a specimen of great intelligence we will never truly understand
I like to think about all videos like these as short stories about how specific survivors are doing in the post apocalyptical world of zomboid
This is what dudes in the NRA think they look like. Full tactical gear, suppressed automatics, pouches full of magazines, godlike reload speeds.
Watched at 1000x speed can confirm this is a ambiguous amphibian classic
I've never played this game, but I love watching the goofy things people do in it. I also love that it's based on my local area. It's fun hearing all of these places I've been to before even if they look nothing like the game.🤣
It has to be said, your manner of storytelling is awesome. It was randomly finding a Project Zomboid video that brought me here, and videos like this quickly became my favorite.
"Night 6 to 8 proved easy going,"

Had me a good chuckle. Fantastic content.
I’m so happy u are posting these Project Zomboid videos I love them so much and have been missing them. Much love dude

Your PZ playthroughs were how I discovered your content, and there's something really great about how you narrate your journey in the game. As always the editing and production is great. I could watch these all day.
This is what I wanted accumulator to be. Will definitely be doing this myself later today. Thank you for gracing my weekend with your video Ambiguous Amphibian. :)
These new Zomboid videos have spurred me into a frenzy.
Started my own server, modded it to all Hell, held it in Cherbourg (which I’ve never played on), and invited all my buddies to play on it. Really excited to get it started now that I’ve finished troubleshooting all of the mods.
I enjoy your content, I wish I could watch it for days! Your vernacular makes even the most mundane of tales into a masterful epic.
Sometimes I want you to do lower quality videos so there would be more uploads, but then you upload a total gem and I remember why I wait so patiently for the next upload!
I've missed Ambigous playing Project zomboid, I think it suits he's content creation really well
I've never played this game myself, but I do love watching you play it. Somehow you make it look easy, although my brother has explained how not-easy the game truly is xD Honestly love all your one-off narrative videos, just love how you narrate your activities. :3
I was coming back to AA to search some old PZ like the worst start since it's been so long, but my cravings seem to be affecting AA as well and he blessed us with a new PZ video! Thank you good sir!
Ngl wasn't expecting a sequel to the challenge where you stay at one house. That was one of my favorite challenges and as always you kill it with the narration.
i swear these challenges get more and more insane each time i tune in to our amphibious friend lol
Can you imagine the amount of work that went into this video? Not only it's well-played but also well-said and shown. Thank you, AA!
So, so, so happy to see Project Zomboid content again
Since watching your video my cup size has increased 3x and I have the vitality of a grizzly bear. Thank you for changing my life forever.
Do my eyes deceive me? A project zomboid video? We’re eating good tonight boys
I was legit expecting the game to crash. I’m impressed it didn’t.
Not to mention how I’m always impressed with your mastery of this game!
man it's nice seeing Ambiguous amphibian playing PZ again💙
Thanks for dispensing such fine and grey matter massaging content. Truly appreciate the quality introspection which has led my dearest paramour to indulge in your robust ethereal pros at my side.
Thank you for bringing the apocalypse to Kentucky, Unknown Iguana, it's a refreshing change from our normal residents, sir.
Great editing, good choice of music, nice concise clips of gameplay footage that give us an idea of what each section was like without going into too much depth. Good video AA.
Your entire description of your experience was so entertaining to watch and listen to. Amazing video.
i’ve waited so long for you to continue PZ, found your channel this time last year randomly through your PZ videos and i binged them to get me through a break up. So happy right now!!!
Ah yes My Monthly Ambiguous Amphibian Intake
Man it’s been awhile since the last Project Zomboid video. Those challenges were so fun and enjoyable that I was a bit sad when you didn’t post them anymore.
Thanks for making those videos, it made me decide to buy the game and I never regretted it :)
Could we get longer episodes like before?? they were so good

I'm very impressed by how you went about this challenge, seeing you used mods helps me see how you found military supplies. Very intuitive as usual
you know that the video will be good when it starts with ''among us''
I'm so happy to see you come back to this game. This was how I first found your channel and that was 10 minutes of sheer joy. I've loved your other stuff don't get me wrong but I hope you've got some other ideas for PZ too :)

YES! Found you from the PZ gameplay and it’s always lovely to see throwback videos :)
I don’t expect them all the time, as I love the newer content too but stuff like this is always a welcome surprise!
Only recently got into PZ and oh my god, I love your videos. Always giving me new ideas while playing the game and the way you narrate kills me 😂

PZ and any simulation games are always my favorite videos ❣️ when i saw this in my notifications i basically shit myself!! been here since u were at 4k i love this channel and always catch ur streams and watch any that i missed on ur vod channel! pls keep up the amazing work
I swear you make this game look easy. Every time I watch one of your videos, I try to play PZ again and then immediately realize why the game is much more fun for me to watch than to play lol.
Okay. Listening to this at work sounds like a man telling his story of being in an actual zombie apocalypse and I love it
Literally just picked up your worst start series and it just happens to coincide with fresh PZ content. Awesome. Youre the reason Ive now sank fifty hours and counting into this game and I learned a lot watching you so far. Thanks for the content!
I missed these challenges so much! I loved the pz challenge series as well! So glad to hear your soothing voice again

A friend of mine told me about your channel and I've been watching a bunch of your videos. I like em a lot. They're oddly calming sometimes and really funny when you start waxing philosophically.

Your PZ videos are what let me to find/get hooked on your channel. I'm elated for this video 30 seconds in!
What I really love about Amphibians videos is not just the amazing gameplay and story telling, But his vocabulary, There is just something satisfying about a well spoken and incredible sounding voiceover. Ambiguous amphibian the Vocabularian.
I'm always excited to see you come back to Project Zomboid! I found this channel way back in 2018 or so, I believe while you were still doing the Dead Rising run of PZ. I'm delighted that you'll still return for a cool new challenge like that all these years later. :) Great video as always!
This was so good! Mighty fine shooting and base construction. May the fire burn away the dead forever indeed.

It was very refreshing to see you hop back on Project Zomboid after so long. Keep it up AA! hope to see more games for you to try out
AA's supercut commentary videos are such perfect entertainment and also meditation material, ngl
hell yeah, I love your PZ videos, truly inspiring everytime
Who would've thought that the best storyteller on UA-cam is an frog that plays Zomboid 🐸
Stumbled upon one of your videos and became a fan instantly... This is high quality stuff!
So when you showed the end tally - the first thing I thought was "Oh. He got the Zombie Genocider Achievement"
Back in the day when the game Dead Rising first came out, there was this achievement called: " zombie genocider" , which required you to kill 53,594 zombies. which was the population of the town there. Left 4 Dead had an achievement when it came out to kill 53,595. And I believe it was just tradition to try and one up one another for a while.
So. Long story short. Congratulations on getting the Zombie Genocider achievement on project zomboid!
man i will never forget that kafka monologue you did in that one zomboid series.. i must have watched it 5 times by now
the intersection between comedy and poetry and video games is a very tiny plot of water with you in it and it is Appreciated
Such a classic game for AA to play along with RimWorld. Loved this video, wish I had the time to play PZ for this long.
Your old PZ series showed up in my recommended. Its how i found your channel. like that you still do it.
I love this series man 🤘
Your videos are always enjoyable
