hi! you just made my night! I had no idea what to do for dinner and today I am exhausted and not feeling like cooking at all but... you have inspired me! and made me soooo hungry. I just made steamed kale, with sauté courgette and scallions, red lentils, pasta, purple cabbage raw very finely sliced , melon and strawberries. I have added a bit of olive oil and a drizzle of honey and it's delicious!!!
turtlegeneral The Happy Pear also have two awsome cookbooks! Not to mention an extremely popular cafe in Greystones, Wicklow! If you can, it's defiantly worth a visit. They also sell yummy snack bars and soups in shops all over Ireland. Basically they do so much and it's all incredible!
I love to top mine with roasted peanuts, and I use cilantro + lime + olive oil and maybe a little sriracha sauce. I'd say almost everything tastes lovely with that combination, but it's just my favourite bowl - the other ingredients are totally optional depending on what I can find.
Hi! I LOVE you guys. You always have great recipes! I've been to your restraunt 4 times! I met you guys in January or February and haven't stop talking about it. I would love if you guys replied!!!!!!!
love how simple your recipes are. I cant wait for the new book. will there be a recipe for garlic bread? I love that but the vegan ones lack a little something.
Bence Illes Lmao man I'm not talking about frying food. Just in general. If you take oil and butter away I don't know how to make my pans not stick up on me.
Hass are the dark, bumpy skinned variety. Easy to get where I'm from since they grow mostly in California and Mexico. Not sure how easy they are to get internationally. Here's a short list of the others out there: Bacon, Fuerte, Gwen, Lamb Hass (not sure the difference), Reed and Zutano.
It _is_ kimchi; it's just finely finely shredded, which though not traditional, is not unheard of. It's how I make it because it ferments faster when everything is chopped and eating a chopped one isn't like gnawing on an animal haunch.
hey guys 💋 it's pronounced B-oo-duh Bowl....lol looks great...hope to make for din din ✌ BTW, you both should try to incorporate pink Himalayan salt into some of your recipes!😍
Hate to leave a negative comment but 5 mins is not enough time to properly cook onions and get a nice flavour going. And that's not kimchi............. All for buddha bowls though and if it gets people eating more veg that is great
Hey Hey now I have to call CHEAT. The ingredients were pre-cut & pre-made. You guys used Instant rice and there's two of you. This will probably be more like 20-30 min.s for one person: prep time and cooking time... and that's only if they have all the pre-made stuff like Kimchi and hummus. BUT I still love you guys and will let this one pass ;) You guys still are Amazing.... And good looking so, I'm not complaining lol

Cheers Jayne!! 😄💚
The Happy Pear No worries 😊💚💚
Is water the best substitute for oil if you're trying to go the oil free vegan route or is there some product that is often used?
Ferrum 26 I also use organic vegetable broth
Yes. Try frying stuff in water.
lmao
Or vegetable broth. Make sure it's low sodium. I often to half water / half broth
Bence Illes Lmao man I'm not talking about frying food. Just in general. If you take oil and butter away I don't know how to make my pans not stick up on me.
Just good 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed! 😄😋🙌
5 minutes to cook, how long to clean up the kitchen? :D
IvanIV05 eh...another 5 minutes. they only used one pan.
Hahhahahha 😂😄😋
Please put the recipe below. Thank you. Great job!
Will do Melocinth 😄😋🙌
very good guys!!!
Cheers Rose! 😄👍
So good buddha bowls for monks and other ordinary people. All word's monks should take this kind of pureveg foods only.
Tamari 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
WOOOO!!!!!!!!! 😄😋🙌
I love your videos however I would love them even more if you listed the ingredients xx
Will do Olga! 😄
What other kind of avocados are there?
+lonemaskedwolf Pinkerton are a lighter skin avocado.
I always get the ripe and ready to eat ones here in Ireland. I don't know what type they are.
lonemaskedwolf Florida avocados!

Nommmmm!
I kept hearing butter ball.
Golden Throne we are dedicating the butterball to butter himself! Lol
Hahahhaahhaa 😂😄😋
you guys should make a hot sauce!
We'll put it on the list Tim!! 😄😋🙌
Still not sure why they keep calling that kimchi. Am I missing something? It looks like red cabbage sauerkraut.
this is 100% not kimchi!
It _is_ kimchi; it's just finely finely shredded, which though not traditional, is not unheard of. It's how I make it because it ferments faster when everything is chopped and eating a chopped one isn't like gnawing on an animal haunch.
buy their 2nd book and you'll understand what it is
It probably has the kimchi sauce and preparation in it, just used purple cabbage instead of Chinese cabbage..
😀😀
I don't like Black beans. I don't know what it is with vegans and black beans but I like every other bean except black beans.
Just use chickpeas instead! 😄😋👍
Omg are they single? 😍😍😍
Hahahahaha afraid not! 😉😉
You guys always make two servings... Your lovely camera assistant doesn't get anything, huh? ;-)
Kimche is disgusting I don't care how fermented it is. 😄😄😄😄 the rest of the dish looks delish! Well Done
Gimme a D ....
Gimme an A ...
Gimme a V ...
Gimme an I ...
Gimme a D ...
Good to have you guys together again. Thanks for the great vid. xx
Ah love it!!!!! 🤗😋😄
looks like red cabbage sauerkraut to me purple cabbage whatever you call it wherever you live.
Clearly drops phone at 0:21 and god it's childish of me to get distracted by that but I can't not see it.
Hahahahaha we forgive you Sean! 😂😋😉
hey guys 💋 it's pronounced B-oo-duh Bowl....lol looks great...hope to make for din din ✌ BTW, you both should try to incorporate pink Himalayan salt into some of your recipes!😍
Hate to leave a negative comment but 5 mins is not enough time to properly cook onions and get a nice flavour going. And that's not kimchi............. All for buddha bowls though and if it gets people eating more veg that is great
You put the fruit in the bowl and you said 5mins, thank you guys for you weasting my 5mins
I'm just kidding

Hahahahaha thanks for the pass! 😂😋😄
You guys must go through like 1000 gallons of tamari a year lol
Title should’ve been “5 minute Buddha bowl made by 2 people; not including the mise en place” 😂
more tamari
ní chreidim é
Hahahahhaahaha 😂😋😄
this is 20 minutes dude! with ONE person and PREP
Hahahaha 😉😋😜
Is it just me or are they looking really tan & hot!? 😍
Hahahahahaha 😄😋
love this channel, but that kimchi doesn't look authentic at all...
Why can't we just call it a grain bowl instead of buddha bowl? You don't see Chinese people eating a pizza and calling it a Jesus slice!
jesus wasn't italian
Buddha was a Nepalese man, not from China! Hwahaha
Because the idea is that the bowls are like the ones the Buddhist monks use
maybe buddha's name shouldnt be in a dish ... cuz u wont have christ bowl
omg this is such a sloppy work
