I personally love you guys!! I always use your recipes when trying to transition into being vegan. I don't trust a lot of recipes that many youtubers use because it just lacks flavor lol. But your food is so awesome and delicious! Thanks so much!
Hi Stephen I was in your new restaurant on Sunday and it is fantastic. I had a few different salads and yum. It was so busy, I came up from Cork and I will be returning again as soon as I can. Great Spot x Ye had lost power for some reason but it was still great x
great video will be trying all three of these!! Never thought of putting lentils in spaghetti sauce, love that idea to make it meatier! I've been eyeing tempe at the grocery store will have to get it next time I go 👍😃
For toasting your pita and falafel 🥙, try using a tiny George Forman grill. I cook everything on that thing! Probably a little bit safer than the toaster. Lol.
Hey Dave and Steve! I just bought and tried your Happy Hummus for dinner :) I love how dense and tasty it is. My only bug about it is the plastic film was quite stubborn to tear-off and in the end, we had to peel little bits of the plastic to get it completely off the container. I was just afraid of getting pieces of plastic in the beautiful hummus! Can't wait to try your basil pesto tomorrow evening and cook my lentil penne with it tomorrow with some pine nuts and basil! Can't wait to try more of your food. Love your UA-cam channel :) xoxo
Lovelovelove I was getting on UA-cam to search up some fun tofu to have with my lunch 2day and this was already in my subscription box! No need to search when gr8 stuff like this is around! :~}
Yum! But as someone new to your channel, I can't find the recipes, even following the link. These look delicious! I love Falafel, not sure about the tempeh, and I'm terrified of the last one, because no matter what I do, my sauce comes out bitter. Still, it looks worth a try!
Fuck sake the amount of haters on here. People need to get their heads out of their arses and not take everything so serious!! As a German I know that Sauerkraut is entirely different to Kimchi. Does that offend me? No. They made a mistake. They are just showing people quick and healthy ways to get dinner on the table. It's notging to do with authenticity. They never claimed to do an authentic Asian, German Italian Dish. I get when people get a bit upset about traditional recipes like the Italian's about their bolognese. But people have been putting their own interpretation of recipes out there for years. Get over it. People mix up names, people break pasta to make it cook faster, it happens. Aslong as someone doesn't claim to be making an authentic traditional recipe(which even varies depending which region of a country it's from ie. sauerkraut has many versions in Germany/Bolognese in Italy) I don't get the deal. A kind comment just to mention" hey guys, great video just as a side note in case you didn't realize kimchi and sauerkraut are actually different things because they use x and x ingredients etc. Thought it might help." would do the trick, there's no point in going at them like crazy. Are they really going to listen to hate? No. Kind suggestions and constructive criticism will get you way farther. Rant over. ✌❤
these recipes looks absolutely amazing one thing ive never understood is putting oil in boiling water to prevent the noodles from sticking. water and oil don't mix so the oil just floats in top so what's the point?
Zarah K from my Italian teachers it's only necessary when cooking fresh homemade spaghetti. Any other pasta the oil will have no affect coz as you said it floats on top. old wives tale I believe
All look noms! Do you have a recommendation of brands that sell vegan kimchi, if we don't want to make it? I believe lot of brands use seafood products like anchovies or shrimp. I'll check out your recipe though.
Really cool ideas, will try them out! In the future you might wanna put in more salt to your pasta water though, maybe addin a little of it to your sauce later, it just results in more flavour imo.
guys my top tip for any kind of tomato sauce is to put the tiniest amount of cinnamon in it! be very careful with it, just a pinch and trust me it's delicious, even my friends who usually don't like cinnamon love the sauces like this, takes it to another level!
okay these all look great but omg your pasta. don't oil you water, guys! also neverrrrrrr rinse your pasta (unless it is 100% bean flour) and always toss pasta in sauce (with some pasta water) instead of sauce on top. love the falafel toaster idea!
Nye - you want your pasta to have some starch, helps the sauce stick to it. Oil will either sit on the top of the water and be useless or prevent the starch from sticking. Same reason not to rinse/ save some water. You want the starch to help sauce stick to pasta.
Oh no I cannot believe you added David into your sauce for your second dinner! He will be at least 5 inches shorter next time he's on video, if he ever forgives you for what you've done! Does the tip about not washing mushrooms also apply to button/"regular" ones?
Beware that almost all Kim Chi uses fish. But if in Dublin I can verify that the Korean Restaurants, Kim Chi Hop House on Parnell Street (Old Shakespeare Pub at the corner of O'Connell Street) kimchihophouse.ie on Parnell Street and the Drunken Fish at at the Mayor Square Lucas Stop at IFSC drunkenfish.ie both always serve Kim Chi as Vegan using Orange Sauce instead of fish. They don't use tuna in Miso soup either but always ask to make sure. All will sell you take away too so Kim Chi stock up. I know they guys very well via the Korean Community in Ireland but it's always good to check and get the Veggie message out! STILL waiting on Happy Pear to come to Dublin!
Great quick ideas but you don't put oil in pasta water, it can make the pasta claggy and stop sauce from mixing with it. You need to use a big pan and lots of salt instead. The majority of the salt is removed during the cooking. To test, take out a piece and it should be al dente not totally soft. He said his brother was inside the Tamari that's hilarious like a vegan genie! I hope he didn't end up in the cooking ha ha! I wouldn't put falafel in my toaster, ooh no, he's a brave fearless man indeed!
SHE COOKED, HE COOKED??? Where's the apache helicopter cooked. Not impressed. Just kidding, really appreciate these videos! Keep up the great work! Vegan Power! ;D
it broke my heart I just found out the other day that I was allergic to soy I ate tofu and I had a allergic reaction I had it before but I always ignored it I'm so unhappy about this now because I love my tofu and my tempeh and my TVP and soy curls :-(

french 1375 absolutely right this pasta must have came put in one clump beside thats not Kimchi thats Red cabbage sauerkraut and its totally different... iam normally relaxed about those kinda things and i love the channel but what if some cant cook and following these exact steps he's gonna be in trouble😁

Ah perfect timing then Annabella! 😄😋🙌
I also like how the ingredients aren't complicated either!
Woo glad to hear it! 😄😋🙌
You can get Shirataki noodles too!
Love it. No need to add oil with enough water though, mate.
I can't stop laughing at your toaster. I half expect Rimmer's voice to say "Your toast is done, you SMEG HEAD" when it pops up.
Yum! But as someone new to your channel, I can't find the recipes, even following the link.
These look delicious! I love Falafel, not sure about the tempeh, and I'm terrified of the last one, because no matter what I do, my sauce comes out bitter. Still, it looks worth a try!
Ah give it a go Leslie! Let us know how it works out! 😄😋🙌
Hi Steven! looking good as always! how's nedsta?
He's the cutest lil pear! 😄😋🙌
can I rehydrate shiitake mushrooms and use those? I've got a ton of them that I need to use up.
Absolutely! 😄👍
I literally never thought about just cutting a pita in half. I always make such a mess trying to stuff those things :D
Hahaha well there's a tip for you then! 😋😂😘
Best video ever.
Ah thanks a mill Sofia! 😋🤗😄
Cauldron falafels are best on taste
p.s. put your cous cous oil in after you've put in the boiling water so it doesn't interfere with water absorption
Nice one! 😄👍
I've been in love with tempeh ever since I went to indonesia but have failed to find it here in Ireland :(
We sell it in our shop in Greystones! I'm sure you should find it in health store and ask in your local supermarket! 😄🙌
Good job, Steeeeve!
Ah cheers Beth! 😘😋😄

I finally managed to buy Tamari so I can really keep up with you two!
YES!!!!! You're fab love it! 😄😋💚
I never heard of Courgette? Is that what you call them there? It's called zucchini here in Canada.
Same thing! 😄😋
I only realised you're not David when you said David likes tamari :))
Hahahaha well that's one way to tell the difference anyway! 😂😋
Delicious! :)
Absolutely!!! 😍😋🤤
Yumm!!
😋😍🤤
What can I use instead of maple syrup for the tempeh recipe?
Any other liquid sweetener 😄👍
4:24 David has disappeared into the bottle of Tamari 😂😂😂
Hahahhahahaha 😂😂😂😂
Damn how'd he break that much spaghetti 😂😂😂❤️
Vegan power!
Hahahaha bring on the guns!! 💪💪😂
With some VEGAN GAINS hahahahaha
How about dried mushrooms, wouldn't I want to re-hydrate them? Or will they re hydrate with the other liquids?
They will, Eugenia! 😄😋
these recipes looks absolutely amazing

nugget again 😋😻
😄🙌🙌
Do some rice cooker ideas please!! 🙏🏻
We'll put it on the list Graham!!! 😄🙌
All look noms! Do you have a recommendation of brands that sell vegan kimchi, if we don't want to make it? I believe lot of brands use seafood products like anchovies or shrimp. I'll check out your recipe though.
Are the recipes in your cook book?:)
Not these ones Toni! 😘😄🙌
Really cool ideas, will try them out!
In the future you might wanna put in more salt to your pasta water though, maybe addin a little of it to your sauce later, it just results in more flavour imo.
Thanks Sebastian, will do! 😄😋🙌
Soooo I made the tempeh today, and it's quite tasty. Like... really really good!
I do hope David comes out of the bottle eventually, do we get three wishes then? ^^
Of course Lissy! 😉😂
how much basil did you guys add to the pasta?
Just a about a handful David! 😄😋🙌
Hey guys. What oil do you cook with?
Usually sunflower oil! 😄
Where do you find tempeh?
We sell it in our shop Laura, but try your local supermarket, health food shop or Asian supermarket! 😄😋🙌
I love the way the twins refer to food as female. ❤️
Hahahahah think it's an Irish thing! 😋😄🙌
guys my top tip for any kind of tomato sauce is to put the tiniest amount of cinnamon in it! be very careful with it, just a pinch and trust me it's delicious, even my friends who usually don't like cinnamon love the sauces like this, takes it to another level!
Super stuff Roxanna!! Will def have to try it out! 😄😋🙌
The food ain’t the only thing that look tasty in the video 🤪🤪🤭🤭🤭🤭
Steve what is your favorite sauce? If it was tamari too I assume you would just always say "our favorite sauce".
you should have a show on food network! :p
Hahahhahaa! 😄😋
okay these all look great but omg your pasta. don't oil you water, guys! also neverrrrrrr rinse your pasta (unless it is 100% bean flour) and always toss pasta in sauce (with some pasta water) instead of sauce on top.

insofair nah old wives tale

Does the tip about not washing mushrooms also apply to button/"regular" ones?
Noor AlShihaby yes they've mentioned before they always just brush off any mushrooms they have
😂😂
Can you all do another simple vegan dinner recipes?😄
The links aren't coming up lads x
oops will fix that now! 😄😋🙌
starting up with Falafel pita. I am actually teary eyed cuz I want falafel pita so bad xD
Hahaahaha falafels can have that effect! 😂💚
Beware that almost all Kim Chi uses fish. Ha! I finally found Tamari. We had to travel hours away to find it.
Hahahahahaha love it Dave you're brill! 😂😋😄
No links dude. Grainne
They're up there now Grainne! 😄😋🙌
The Happy Pear 'Stickin' out' as we say in the north...!
I simmer my tempeh for 5 minutes in water to remove some of the bitter flavor.
Nice one Elizabeth! 😄👍🙌
Anyone tried Shirataki rice? it has low glycemic conversion rate and gluten free.
It's Monday, but at least I know what I'm cooking this week.
Funny how upset people get over the kimchi not being made 100% like everyone's used to. It's really not a big deal. Nice recipes!
First easy vegan meal video that I don't find intimidating
Wow thats fantastic to hear! Thanks a mill for your support 😄😋🙌
Thanks for some great recipes! These actually make me want to go vegan! 👍🏻
Ah that's so brill to hear Rianne!!! 😄😋🙌
Do it!
Can u buy kimchi?
Absolutely! 😄👍🙌
One video with just mi guapo amigo Esteban 😍😍😍
I feel lucky! 😁
Hahahahah love it Rodrigo! 😂😂
Thanks... I'm hungry now 🙁
Then EAT!!! 😄😋🙌
Instead of Tamari, can I use soy sauce???
What was the tiny thing,it's not rice.what was the name?
you guys love Maple Syrup, judging by the size of that jug.
We def do, Henry!! 😄😋🙌
you guys sure do some nice snappy dinners. I would maybe take more than 5 minutes, but you guys are awesome.
Use chopsticks to dig falafels out!
Nice idea! 😄👍
Great quick ideas but you don't put oil in pasta water, it can make the pasta claggy and stop sauce from mixing with it. You need to use a big pan and lots of salt instead. The majority of the salt is removed during the cooking. To test, take out a piece and it should be al dente not totally soft.

Just kidding, really appreciate these videos!
Keep up the great work! Vegan Power! ;D
Hahahahahaha cheers cheers!! 😄😋😂
That thumbnail looks like it consists of fab food
It doesn't just look like it Serina! 😄😋🙌
Personal question, are you kids vegan as well?
Mostly whole food plant based! 😄👍
it broke my heart I just found out the other day that I was allergic to soy I ate tofu and I had a allergic reaction I had it before but I always ignored it I'm so unhappy about this now because I love my tofu and my tempeh and my TVP and soy curls :-(
Melanie Flink I'll definitely try that thanks.
Melanie Flink really I never knew that
Melanie Flink thank you I'm so glad you responded to my comment I learned something new today I will definitely try the chickpea
Falafel without garlic is bin Worthy
hurry on the day when you guys programme robots to do the cooking, I'll be the first to buy one.. cheers!
Love it! hahaha 😂😂
My heart skipped a beat when you broke the spaghetti :|
Mariana Pinheiro then u must be Italian.
Fr M and if she is Italian she'd be as horrified as me that he didn't wait for the water to boil to add the pasta, didn't stir it (which is why it clumped together) and it wasn't fully cooked. I love the recipes but the lack of cooking techniques bugs me.
french 1375 absolutely right this pasta must have came put in one clump beside thats not Kimchi thats Red cabbage sauerkraut and its totally different... iam normally relaxed about those kinda things and i love the channel but what if some cant cook and following these exact steps he's gonna be in trouble😁
Exactly my feeling.
Literally the pasta is cooked completely wrong, that annoys me so much.
I don't have most of these ingredients easily available where I live, so those dinners would not be easy for me xD
Mmmm, pittah!
