Takes a lady to get str8 to the point 😉 I am finding difficulty finding the automatic measurement section. My iPad has all the other options up until that X in the upper right corner. I don’t have it.

Try loading songs through file manager instead of iTunes.

You can use any audio with the proper format. .wav, .mp3, .mp4 etc…

if the track to import is stereo ???

You can check your recording software. There should be an option for tracks to be mono or stereo. You will have to have two tracks or stereo track coming in.

how do I get a file onto my ipad first. then I can import to garageband but not if its not on the ipad first

You can use an external drive, you can email the file to yourself and open/save on iPad, or airdrop.
