Awesome video and some excellent catches, have fished salinas a few times and had one stingray many years ago. Will definitely be doing more ray fishing fishing there this time after watching your video, usually fish tarajalejo for the stingers and other ray. Keep up the good work and tight lines.
Hi Mario enjoyed the video and detailed descriptions I have a question is it possible to fish at Salinas at high tide or is it low tide only? off there with the lures in a few weeks time thanks mate
hi ,brilliant video and content, and some monster fish in a beautiful place, not long been back from Spain and would of loved to fish there off the beach but was told a few days before leaving England that you have to apply for a permit to fish,so was gutted to say the least,am looking to going here in the future and was wondering if you need a permit or licence to fish there.cheers Dan
Great video of the fishing and some cracking fish caught. Love your explanations of the gear you were using. We are off out there in a few weeks and will be staying at Caleta just up the road from where you were fishing and are taking our spinning rods. You showed a light ledger set up in the video - is that for use from similar marks you were fishing or more for harbours or beaches? Seems a bit light for off the rocks like you were doing.
@@marioasprou8548 great stuff thanks. We are a bit further up the coast at Caleta and it’s a tackle graveyard off the rocks. Far too windy as well at the moment. Waves breaking over the rocks all the time.
Boga have to be 100mm minimum to use as live bait I'm out in Jan 25 caleta for a month's lure fishing I found the video good for marks but your type of fishing boring ray after ray no fight on heavy gear don't appeal to me And it must be nice to be sponsored
You have to be very careful, if you catch a species that is highly protected in the Canary Islands, such as the "angelshark", you could have serious legal problems. Enjoy fishing, but I repeat, be careful with the protected species, the authorities do not care if it is not your fault. show images of that capture 😉
Awesome stuff, great fishing and great info too. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Great video with some cracking fish and a lot of good information, thanks for sharing

Cracking video mate, just out of curiosity are there any bag limits for the takeable fish and are there any no fishing places on the island?
What are the boots pal
Great Vid👍👍
Out there now. Are you fishing onto clean ground at Salinas? Just wondering because of the Angel Shark.
Yes mate, all clean ground along there as long as you don't go too far left
