- The team from Gwinear Angling (Newquay, Cornwall, UK) spend a week shore fishing on the spectacular island of Fuerteventura. Big fish of a variety of species are on the cards, although the weather is far from ideal and really restricts the team's choice in venues. Are they up to the challenge? Watch to find out!

Thanks Colin, yes that’s the one 👍
Nice fishing!!! Is it allowed to fish on that pier?Iam asking because ive been looking for a calm spot to fish when there is to much wind.
We only over fished it after dark to avoid any potential problems but we did see locals fishing there so we thought it was okay. We were certainly never told otherwise 👍
Great video. What length to weight conversion chart do you use?
Hi Stephen, we use the conversion charts from a South African site called ‘Specialist Angler’. In some instances, the charts we use aren’t for the exact species but others that are physically very similar. For example, for the round fantail ray you can use the chart for black ray and for the roughtail stingray, you can use the chart for thorntails etc.
Great, many thanks for the info.
If i may ask, what multiplier Baron used when he caught the butterfly ray?
Hi, you mean Varian? He was using a Shimano Speedmaster. Probably 30 years old that reel!
What where the afaw rods yous where using
On the trip there was three different models of anyfish rods used, a pair of original grand prix , grand prix pro, and a pair of six and baits.
What is the song that starts at 5:05?
