I love cake, and the kind of stuttering effect is used to great effect in songs like Frank Sinatra, but it's a little bit too much here. Normally it adds a bit of interest to the lyrics but sometimes it just breaks the flow of the song

There's nothing wrong with disco, it's funky, adds soul, and is very groovy
