- Finally I got to test drive the BMW i8 Roadster and it is safe to say it really impressed me...Maybe I am ready for the electric world that is soon approaching? Watch the full video to find out my first impressions of this much hyped hybrid sports car.
Stats include a 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds, 369bhp, 420 lb ft of torque. A limited top speed of 155mph.

Having owned an i8 for 26 months, I can say it was quite a fun time for me to not only drive it but share it with others. That car kicked off my UA-cam channel and it will ever have a place in my heart. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Thanks Pat, your channel just this month inspired me to get a 2019 i8 coupe which I actually traded 9 days later (crazy, I know) for a 2019 Roadster. Impressive car, iconic, I can’t help but think if I keep it in good condition, considering inflation and the carbon fiber body/ carbon tub/ aircraft aluminum parts, that in 10 years I may be able to sell it close to what I paid for it… I really think these will be sought after in the future 👀👍 ua-cam.com/video/d4uZSDnecY8/v-deo.html

I have same color 2019 with the Ivory White interior. You did a great refreshing video no doubt.

As owner of a i8 roadster I can just congratulate to this excellent review. Many thanks. I enjoy the i8 every day and prefer it over my wifes 992 convertible. It's not the fasted sports car and it does not handle as good as the 992 but it's a concept car with a fascinating technic and iconic design. Especially the roadster will be a future collector car.

Great to see you back, Grace! The i8 was definitely ahead of its time with the rockstar looks and the electrified powertrain. Guarantee it will go down as one of the coolest cars of the 2010s. As you know, I truly hate fake engine noise, but - it kinda works here. It’s hard for me to say that, but it does seem to work. Question for you: for the same price (new) what would you prefer - the i8 or an M8 Competition? Looking forward to seeing more videos!
I'm so glad you're back, really miss your videos. What a wonderful comeback with this brilliant video, that angelical touch gives an extra flare. This is always going to be a car that's very ahead of his time, still up to date, the best looking BMW. I've seen one few days ago accelerating from a dig and the sound definitely is a nice touch from a three pot.

Discontinued due can't fit floor to ceiling grilles. Not heavy enough. Too cool. Not soccer mum approved.
