I own one, the same one honestly (frozen black) and love the car. I’ve owned Maserati, Viper, Rover, Corvette’s, Camaro’s and so many cars. The BMW i8 is one of the best cars I’ve owned. It may not be the fastest, but all around - it’s one of my favorite cars. Most people don’t understand until they drive one/own one. I was the same. I hated the power specs, but owning one, it’s actually REALLY quick as it uses the electric motors to boost you with instant torque and allows the turbos to catch-up. 👍
Yeah exactly. I would really want to know what was going through the BMW personnel when they decided to go with that engine. Or atleast have another model with M level power..

I like the owner's enthusiasm and it's a great car, but it's no supercar. And it's not very economical; a 435d will be faster and more efficient, not to mention less than half the price. Also, the engine sound is fake, it comes through the speakers.

It's a very nice cruising car. Looks-wise it blows the R8 and AMG GTs out of the water. You'd have to get a Lamborghini...
Why do BMW even bother with the chrome bezel on the kidneys? Anyone with any sense switches them out for black, first thing. Looks pretty awesome, though!
