A very beautiful piece - The main theme to the film "Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines" and was played during the end credits. Music by Marco Beltrami.
Yeah it did, T1 & 2 had tragic endings but not to this scale. I'm glad the writers took a ballsy move that could bother a few people. The endings for Salvation and Genisys were very safe and happy.

Maybe the future has been written. I don't know; all I know is what the Terminator taught me; never stop fighting. And I never will. The battle has just begun..."
That ending, especially the speech and the music, is better than the rest of the movie. At least, it left us something to remember. It could have been worse.
Johann du Toit Yh, I love how this has the opposite outcome of T2, but John in both films has the same outlook. In T2, he doesn’t want to lead, so he denies his fate and ‘stops’ judgement day, whereas T3 involves him still not wanting to lead but instead he accepts his fate, with the finale ending with him finally stating that he’s now in charge
It was truly the most epic portion of the film, it pretty much signified and solidified the causality and reality of what John Conner was running from. I mean the second film showed us the horror of the blast it's self, but IMO the ending show just how easily it truly is for us to wipe ourselves out.
When the violin fadeout switches into that single horn-note around 2:12, that's what makes hopeful and empowering even despite the over all sad tone of the track. It's as if the song was saying "Alright, Machines, we acknowledge that you drew first blood, score goes to you... but now it's our turn."
I just love how this song is both sad yet hopeful. Yes, Skynet has successfully killed off most of humanity. But what parts it did not kill off will eventually manage to rally to victory.
Skynet effectively seals it's fate by attacking. Ironic, that in trying to protect itself it destroys itself. Especially since it's creators made it to defend them and are nearly destroyed by doing so. Like creator, like created.

I'd say that the end of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is the most emotional of the Terminator franchise and the end of Terminator 2: Judgment Day comes in at a close 2nd place. I first saw T2 when it was first published in the 90's. I was 9 years old and I cried when Sarah Connor was given the task of lowering the T-101 sent to protect John Connor as a 13 year old into the molten steel. I cried even more when I first heard "Radio", from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

great wording at the ending, the perfect ending, perfect score, sad but inpirational, total shock! cant beat the ending! just wish some of the humour was taken out of the film and if was as serious as terminator salvation then this would be my favourite film of all time! never mind the best ending ever!

I love this movie. Sure its got some goofy humour but it stays super serious especially the ending. Perfect ending to the real Terminator movies. As far as I'm concerned, this was the ending to the franchise.
I love endings such as John Carpenter's The Thing that ultimately resolve nothing and spark decades of questions and conversations, or Terminator 3 where the ending is not a Disney fantasy. The ice cold chill of reality and the harsh embrace of the abyss.
Music soundtrack for this movie was beyond magnificent, but the message of the movie nullified everything what was built before it and its ridiculous. In the second Terminator, everything was revolving around the message: "Nothing is predetermined, there is no fate. We are the masters of our own destiny". But in this 3rd movie they are like: "Forget everything what we told you earlier, you are a slave to your fate, everything is predetermined", - and I'm like pikachu face whaaa.
Kinda sounds like a mix between october sky and Armageddon Very emotional, The clip with the multiple ICBMs launching in the distance behind the mid western farm makes me tear up because of the realism, that's what our skies will look like if DEFCON 1 is initiated

This song sums up how insignificant and foolish we all are, on a universal scale, nothing matters here, opinions, beliefs, nothing matters. It’s all gone in the block of an eye.

GOD, I LOVE this movie, especially the ending!! It wasn't really the machines that nearly wiped out humanity; it was ourselves. This ending captures the T2 T-800's quote PERFECTY, "It's in your nature to destroy yourselves." And it is, we nearly did at the end of this movie.
it's really all a matter of perspective, in this case despite the fact that 6 billions lives are lost, we (the viewers) know that we survived judgement day and won the war afterwards. I guess you could say that the music itself catches the emotional reactions from the sorrow of all that death and destruction, the knowledge that we survived judgement day, and that we won the war afterwards, So...yep that about it on my end of things.

This ending is pure gold. I watched in cinema and I immediately liked it.
I didn't have the privilege of seeing this beautiful scene at the cinema, but I've seen the film several times and each time I'm moved by the death of the terminator and the bombs falling all over the world , the person who came up with the idea for this ending and this wonderful song should get the best raise ever 🥺😢
@@alucardultimate34 I couldn't agreed more.
So glad others were touched by this music.
Amazing score.
"Never stop fighting and i never will"
T3 is a great movie.
the most beautiful ending with that music ever in terminator movie
A moving piece, and a sublime accompaniment to the T3's conclusion, drama, uplift, somberness moved forward with hopefulness.
This is a very emotional ending for a Terminator movie! "Radio" is heart-wrenching... 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Such a beautiful piece
Bittersweet but hopeful just like the ending of the first two Terminator movies.
The first 3 will always be my favourites.
This piece of music made up for the whole of T3.
"Connor? What the hell's happening? Who's in charge there?!"

This scene gives me chills
This could have been the beginning of Terminator 4 as they emerge from the bunker to build a rebellion!

when john said theres no core or anything to stop the machines just make me terrified
criminally underrated this track !!
"All I know is what the Terminator taught me...never stop fighting....and I never will...The battle, has just begun."
"You only postponed, the judgement day is inevitable"
This is best soundtrack all times !!!! 3
30 minute version. Thank you
This music very nostalgic.. Terminator - is a movie of my childhood. I have a many of memories like him..😭😢

so powerful sentence, I get teared all of a sudden.
The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines: The Original Terminator Trilogy-three films that all have sad endings, yet always leave you with a sense of hope. That, right there, is the sign of a great trilogy.
I like this trilogy. :)
Salvation is better than T3, the latter of which undermined everything T2 fought for. T1, T2, and Salvation makes a better trilogy to me.
I liked Genisys, too. But Salvation was just ugh
Can't stand Genisys personally.
@@mercenaryknight5419 , everybody has their own opinion, right?
great wording at the ending, the perfect ending, perfect score, sad but inpirational, total shock! cant beat the ending! just wish some of the humour was taken out of the film and if was as serious as terminator salvation then this would be my favourite film of all time! never mind the best ending ever!
The attack began at 6:18 PM, just as he said it would. Judgment day. The day, the human race was almost destroyed by the weapons they'd build to protect themselves. I will never forget what the terminator tought me, never stop fighting and I never will the battle has just began
This movie is where Terminator saga should end.
our fate is what we make for ourselves. this music signifies what humanity may become. we can always change that no matter what
Great music! 😊👍
After the last terminator movie, a cheap feminist circlejerk...this movie is pure gold
I love this movie. Sure its got some goofy humour but it stays super serious especially the ending. Perfect ending to the real Terminator movies. As far as I'm concerned, this was the ending to the franchise.
One of the saddest soundtracks I ever herd
I love endings such as John Carpenter's The Thing that ultimately resolve nothing and spark decades of questions and conversations, or Terminator 3 where the ending is not a Disney fantasy. The ice cold chill of reality and the harsh embrace of the abyss.
Terminator 2 and Dark fate might have the greatest opening themes but God damn their ending themes can't match up to this
The battle has just begun 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Music soundtrack for this movie was beyond magnificent, but the message of the movie nullified everything what was built before it and its ridiculous. In the second Terminator, everything was revolving around the message: "Nothing is predetermined, there is no fate. We are the masters of our own destiny".
But in this 3rd movie they are like: "Forget everything what we told you earlier, you are a slave to your fate, everything is predetermined", - and I'm like pikachu face whaaa.
Kinda sounds like a mix between october sky and Armageddon
Very emotional,
The clip with the multiple ICBMs launching in the distance behind the mid western farm makes me tear up because of the realism, that's what our skies will look like if DEFCON 1 is initiated
This is John Connor At Crystal peak
Terminator 3 is up there with underrated sequels such as Spider-Man 3, The Lost World Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III just to name a few in my opinion.
Smokey 420 Does this mean you like the film?
Fandom Tribal What's wrong with Jurassic Park III?
Smokey 420 Thank you.
Goosebumps.......
you wouldent belive it if it was not so emotional : ) makes me cry as well
This music also played in the walking dead. When Abraham and Eugene talk one last time before Negan came in the picture
This song sums up how insignificant and foolish we all are, on a universal scale, nothing matters here, opinions, beliefs, nothing matters. It’s all gone in the block of an eye.
Perfect Ending of the franchise.
Fxck Genesys and Dark Fates.
This one scene made this movie tolerable for me. I mean i will never forgive them having the audacity to kill Sarah Connor off-screen, but this scene is freakin' awesome, it's an emotional gut-punch.
Wait until you see T: Dark Fate
At least they didn’t kill John Connor as a child within the first 3 minutes.
It's the only reason i keep watching this movie when its on tv
Way better than killing John Connor in the first 6 minutes
So, would you rather see it coming or not? Be at ground zero? sat on a distant hill watching the end, or just be asleep when they drop?
this ending made the movie for me, went from average to good.
By the time Skynet became self-aware it had spread into millions of computer servers across the planet. Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm rooms; everywhere. It was software; in cyberspace. There was no system core; it could not be shutdown. The attack began at 6:18 PM, just as he said it would.
Felt sorry for John Connor and Katherine, John was living his nightmare at that moment. It sucks when bad things happen which can't be stopped. The future refused to change.
That line appears at the end of Chrono Trigger when you fail to stop Lavos "But the future refused to change."
@@spino-tinodon1146 I remember, Chrono Trigger is a great SNES game. Guess I should have gave the game credit for that line, but a great line which applies to that scene as well. All the best Sergio.
@@MrArrylay I totally agree with you.
I think one of the best of the franchise. The music makes me weep.
