Favorite part of this piece is how designed it is to create anxiety. The time signature that has a rhythm, but it takes a few bars to get into it, and it changes up as soon as you do. The whole piece keeps you off balance. Perfect.
This should be the theme for "Hollywood" movies! What an experience to grow up with! I can't explain how excited I was to see Arnold Schwarzenegger for the first time! Theatre screen slowly went up, 20th century fox logo, Predator theme starts and I see Arnold with the cigar, getting down with his kits from the Chopper! Wow iconic movie!
It's so manly a woman will one day say Alan Silvestri is probably the only man alive who could have composed an Aliens soundtrack as perfect as James Horner's was.
Hearing this only strengthens the mythology- the Predators have been here from day one. From the days of the Vikings, the Old West, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, the Middle East, and all sorts of conflicts in between. What is combat and survival to us is entertainment for them and that’s terrifying.
Rambo, Commando, Beverly Hills Cop, The Terminator, Cobra, Predator, RoboCop, Aliens, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Batman.... the 80's had the best movies. 🙂💪👍👌❤️
There is no soundtrack in the entire history of cinema that releases as much testosterone in the veins with each piano hit as this musical masterpiece by Alan Silvestri
I think there are many that are great.... The one that's about a dead even tie with this 1 for me is the one from Beowulf ....... If you don't work out, you will after hearing it lol......
I have always loved this soundtrack. Silvestri’s score just hits the right emotional notes to elevate the action on screen. It shows how the right soundtrack can turn a very good movie into a masterpiece.

And two biers...:-)
Stick this on your sore ass David Jarvis
Great!!
Fantastic!
Favorite part of this piece is how designed it is to create anxiety. The time signature that has a rhythm, but it takes a few bars to get into it, and it changes up as soon as you do. The whole piece keeps you off balance. Perfect.
"I'm scared Poncho, whatever is out there ain't no man. We're all gonna die........"
Dutch : It's using the trees
Billy : Like a hunter
"their is something out there waiting for us, and it aint no man"
bullshit!!! u aint scared of no man!!!
@@MishaAutos "there's something out there waiting for us.. and it ain't no man."
@@adityashreeyan04 one things for sure. We're all gonna die
1987 was a strong year for action flicks = Predator, RoboCop, Lethal Weapon, The Running Man, Project A 2, City on Fire, etc...
I'll play this song the moment my son is born.
Same here too
That child probably hits puberty right from the womb
That child will be born with a full grown beard.
Hasan Genc 😂😂😂
I'd imagine something more Alien in this situation :D
Я столько раз смотрел этот фильм, что могу повторить все сцены и диалоги в голове. Мне хватит для этого саундтрек послушать.
This music is so integral to the action in the film, can't imagine that without it
So many moments. Incredible. Soundtracks make movies.
Too bad cinema is dead now this was the peak of our modern society
One of the greatest and most underrated film scores of all time!
1:08
When you see a spider and you look away for a second and you look back and the spider is gone.

I was listening to this soundtrack again today and burst out laughing at 1:08, thanks for ruining this for me. LMAO!
..that's happened many times for me lol they are quick
0:22 is more accurate
This music is so manly that a woman who hears it may get pregnant XD
Was the echo? perhaps? XD
No, a woman who hears it will begin to produce testosterone and morph into a man.
It's so manly a woman will one day say Alan Silvestri is probably the only man alive who could have composed an Aliens soundtrack as perfect as James Horner's was.
Pregnancy is the best defense against being killed by a predator, if you remember watching the second movie.
Well, it does make a man a sexual tyrannosaurus!
Watched it for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. Definitely one of my favorite movies.
A theme fit for a goddamn sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like me
@@gopinath9986 hahahaha wtf xD
@Guerilla PSYOPS Stick this up your sore ass, Blaine!
@Guerilla PSYOPS lol I didn't even see what he said
good to meet another Sonny Jim out in the wilds of UA-cam.
@Guerilla PSYOPS don't worry bro. He has been skinned alive and being put in a meat grinder.
I so love Predator :)! It is a true Classic and nowadays movies can’t top the old classics :)
This movie is pure testosterone ;)!
2:45 is a very epic piece of music I love it
What an absolute badass theme and movie this is!!! I really miss they don't make amazing films or music like this anymore.
A Predator movie set in one of those eras would be awesome!
Not Just Entertainment, FOOD and Nourishment!
@@m.jeanlorsbach6464 Predators never hunt Humans for that. Only as a sport.

Rambo, Commando, Beverly Hills Cop, The Terminator, Cobra, Predator, RoboCop, Aliens, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Batman.... the 80's had the best movies.

I'm agree with you, this is THE Schwarzy movie
I mean it did have CGI come on now

Great movie and great music! One of my favorite movies ever!
There is no soundtrack in the entire history of cinema that releases as much testosterone in the veins with each piano hit as this musical masterpiece by Alan Silvestri
Looking good, Dutch.
It's been a long time general.
Come on inside,
*Walks into building. Watches as you explain situation, pointing to a map.*
That's over the border, general.
This cabinet minister, does he always travel on the wrong side of the border?
Apparently, they strayed off course. And we're fairly certain they're in guerilla hands now.
the perfect song to listen in the gym! Predator has the best battle ever made into a movie
RIP Carl weathers
Only legends can understand and Appreciate this Master piece 💖💖
"My men are not expendable. And I don't do this kind of work".
Decades later goes on to star in The Expendables trilogy.
Yes indeed - will see if Expendables 4 come. Or something else...
Exactly, he said "My men" not "We" or "My men and myself", so it's cool
The best theme from Alan Silvestri
Tops the avengers
I don't know. I really love the avengers.
This is a good theme, but it is not as good as the Back to the future theme.
I think there are many that are great.... The one that's about a dead even tie with this 1 for me is the one from Beowulf ....... If you don't work out, you will after hearing it lol......
come on, do it! kill me! kill me now! I'm Here! Come on Do it

Do eeeeeet!
That's a REAL nasty habit you got there....
if i was Arnie, i wouldn't let he activate his bomb, killed him and got his corpse as my trophy.. Dutch was moron..
Qué épico 💪🏻🥶
Hasta ahora no hay ninguna película de Predator que supere a la primera,el ambiente,la música, todo es tan perfecto
Gran película 10/10

Al Bundy That's not your style!!!!=(
The moment when i thought "Oh oh...when THIS guy says that you know your in BIIIG trouble"
they don't compose them like they used to
The same exact man is literally composing a movie that isn't even out yet that will top this by 200%

Ghost Recon Wildlands
I have always loved this soundtrack. Silvestri’s score just hits the right emotional notes to elevate the action on screen. It shows how the right soundtrack can turn a very good movie into a masterpiece.
