There was an IMPACT with d2s items and I had times I found items NOT even for my class, such as a sorc but found a big 2 handed axe and was like...well my sorc staff is the noob junk one so lets equip this baby that is as big as she is and whack stuff that gets too close. With so many fewer items/legendaries, Not just how they now drop for ur class its not as exciting. Also most games fail to make good impactful "rare" or legendary items. Not sure how, I guess they don't understand what made d2s unique items So great. Part of it was stats you would not find on ANY other item and they were always more powerful than most similar normal items or magic and rares of the same type.

The online marketplace thing that uses forum gold helps out a lot. It's a great trading website and if you're not using it to help you trade in D2 then you're missing out. Not many people trade in game much anymore.

As a spiritborn player i can say, its fairly accurate :p The class is totally broken, but i guess thats what you get if you dont allow players to test it before the official release. There are builds out there that have reached quadrillion damage numbers (with overpower), if i am not mistaken.
Actually it's the typcal new class behaviour for every "new content" in any blizzard game, where you get a new class. It has nothing to do with players testing, expecially because it's insanely rare that they consider feedbacks. It's pretty obvious tbh, you lure players back with a new class, it can't suck. It's just marketing. Don't worry it will be nerfed to the shame in about six months.

First I would like to say these videos are great! You have likely seen a post like this before, I am surprised that you have not done any old school EverQuest videos. 🤣 I think you could do a lot of material with it. Examples would be corpse runs, training the zone, running through zones you will surely die in just to get to a sweet camping spot the next zone over, grinding all the way down into Guk getting wiped several times just to get there and see it camped, selling wares in the tunnel, getting scammed in the tunnel, raids and much much more. 😃
