I just hate the whole situation because their are people who have killed and have gotten less time, my prayers goes out the the family .
I understand the punishment was harsh but they got caught red handed and made a life of lies. They denied they did anything wrong and that’s not what you did in federal court. They give harsher punishments when they have proof and you don’t admit guilt.

I'm still in shell shock over the whole deal. 7 and 12 years for someone that has never been in trouble. People who comment murder get less time. The system is out of control. You have two wonderful people serving time for something they probably never done. Makes me sick

These people this couple got such a stiff sentence, because Todd Chrisley kept taunting police officials, and did not heed the warning, and they just kept stealing and flaunting it

I served on a Federal jury once, and I didn’t mind being there, but I was concerned about doing the right thing. It’s not like Perry Mason or Matlock where they always make the conclusion totally obvious. Fortunately my co-jurors took it seriously. Praying for justice to be served for your parents. I have never watched your content before. This was absolutely fascinating. I had no idea all of this was not reported and going on behind the scenes. I appreciate you sharing all of this with us. @@MorganC. I was a prison nurse for 3 yrs working nights with inmates count 600-900 at 1 time. Only 2 nurses on & 1 MA. I ran my butt off. Never got breaks to eat. I would drink protein shakes as I stood working on cement floor no rubber shock mats. Both feet got infected from all the standing. I do no what goes on. Both parents got Rail roaded. A judge should on appeal needs no Trial & Fair one.
Oh Mylanta I'm looking at this case IRS person who Audit your parents Taxes saying they owed back taxes. Then I Oh, we made a mistake that they were paid?? I no when my Lawyer husband 1985 after we were married owed over 20,000 back taxes. Me being young him 13 yrs older when he started drinking again. I got beat up every weekend. Lamps, glass broke on my head black eye. Finally God & I couldn't save him. Or Id be dead. Filed TRO, LOCKS CHANGED, POLICE TOOK HIM OUT OF HOUSE. I Lived in fear for over a yr. The IRS was coming me due to I married a Lawyer who didnt pay taxes. I did the IRS placed a red notice on my house & were trying to take my nursing pay check. 26 yrs old. TODD & JULIE NEEDS THIS APPEAL TO HAVE NEW TRAIL W TRUE FACTS. THEY DO NOT BELONG IN JAIL. YOU GO GIRL

When you push Christianity for your own benefit to rescue your parents who are in prison for fraud you are going low. What makes you think maybe Jesus had something to do with their sentencing. Hang in there Savannah. I think a lot more people are for you and your family than those against you. Thank you for using your platform to teach and educate. We need to be aware of what is going on in the prison system. We also need to remember the inhumane treatment of those incarcerated when we go vote. And, to those who are negative and saying unkind things please consider this; If you have a family member who is less than perfect, you may one day find yourself walking a mile in this family's shoes.
Then vote because it was a republican president that privatized the prisons and made them for profit. That's when things went to shit and they took away all the job trainer and after prison real support.

Agreed that it’s unbelievable how a case can be handled in court! In our experience the state attorney aka the prosecutor just had no sympathy he was about to become a judge so he went full force with our case. A year or so I had jury duty and the then prosecutor was now a judge I felt sick to my stomach I couldn’t stand being in there for 1 min so glad I was not chosen! My mother in law passed away during the time my brother in law was in prison. It’s just a very hard thing to go through! I pray that your parents will soon be back home ❤

The question I have is : Is there anything that can be done when a prosecutor in intentionally lies or put someone on the stand that lies and the protection knows they are going to lie? Savannah this best interview. I had so many questions and could not in life figure out how the partner was even considered for a deal🚩& why the sentence was so severe when it was a tax issue. There’s so many red flags 🚩 The lawyer is right everything should be pulled apart & attacked.

My 13 year old brother was shot down by his best friend father trying to kill another man and my brother came up outta of the car and was shot in the head and killed. The man that shot my brother never served a day in prison. The justice system is just so messed up and flawed. I’m praying your parents are set free. 🙏🙏🙏😘💕

If your parents didn't do any of what is being said, then I pray that they are released. It's sad for ANYONE to be incarcerated. Talking about what they are experiencing isn't any different from others in their situation. To me, you're treating this like they are above anyone else in their situation. They liked and enjoyed being apart of club, so now they are! Advocate for all of the people in your parents position who were done an injustice. As someone starting jury duty tomorrow in Kentucky, I can absolutely understand the jurors being upset for having to be there. In Kentucky, employers do NOT have to pay you for your time spent serving and the courts only give you $12.50 per day. As much as I understand it is our civic duty and is a serious responsibility, it ultimately feels like a punishment. I know not everyone is in the same situation, but I personally cannot afford to be missing multiple days of work without pay. Let alone multiple weeks. It will be hard to sit in court listening to a case, when I am having to figure out how to make ends meet since I am not being paid while there.
So happy you had the lawyer on to explain the real facts. I hope this gets shared and the real story gets out to all the haters.

Study the case and you will see all the evidence was nor allowed. Not saying they are 100% innocent but they were not given a fair trial.

Some people are obviously not listening to what this attorney is saying. There are so many things that were done in their trial, that was doing unfairly and so unethical too. Even if they did do some of the crime, which i dont believe they did, the crime doesn't match the time. They no way in H E 🏒 🏑 did they deserve that sentencing 😢 So sad and so unjust.
Something is definitely off with that RIDICULOUSLY long sentence! So many famous people served very little to no time for tax evasion. As for bank fraud if true it still seems like way long.

Its so scary to think of the amount of people in our country who are going to prison for non violent offenses or that possibly even innocent and being put behind bars. Most of them need help and support in different areas like mental health or housing. Which is just heartbreaking that our governments says lets incarcerate these desperate people instead of actually giving them any kind of real help. Hurts my heart and my heart goes out to them all. 💔

I just have so much respect for you all for just fighting for what's right and proving what's wrong, and showing everyone that when the government wants to get someone they will no matter who you are or what you stand for.
