Savannah, I have commented this before. Starting a career in Documentary, or even in news anchoring, you would KILL IT. what would be amazing is starting your own news network, putting out documentaries and being the face and voice for your generation. You could quite literally, change the world. Love you and best of luck to you. Your family deserves to be heard and justice needs to ring for you. You will look back at your life and know you did everything you could to help, not only your family but the common people of the United States. We love you ❤

The potential is there. Kaitlin Collins is 32 and now has her own prime time show on cnn. She started off as a blogger or something like that, then became a correspondent and kept moving up to anchor. But, the world is judgmental and elitist and may hold Savannah’s family down fall against her. She’ll have to overcome that, sorry.

Savannah, little honey girl, First I gotta say that I can't believe how professional you were with a governor. Omg girl you were on the same level as Nora O Donnell. The maturity of the questions and the research you so obviously prepared for were on point with no gaps. You aced as though you been doing this for 25 years and I bet it was one of the best interviews he ever had. I have always loved watching your entire family because your father always made me laugh. I admired his love and devotion to you guys. I am so sorry things went awry for you and I realize that you had to grow up real fast, but sweetie give yourself a huge pat on the back because you picked up the baton and ran with it. So, I'll continue to watch your videos and I'll be praying for you. Much love and respect honey from Rockville Maryland. God Bless you.

Have never had the opportunity to travel to N.J. but chiming to unlocked today I am greatful the state I was born in is seeking change for our prison system and better reform in all areas thus far. May many whom actually have the power to do so see the error of our ways as a whole and rectify these immoral hazardous conditions . And reconnect with a human heart instead of seeing through the eyes of savages. Basic human needs . This was a great America lets see it to her full potential. Do unto others... amen !

Wow what a Podcast!! Savannah thank you for all that you share and all that you are doing for the people who have been wronged! There are way to many people in our prisons that shouldn’t be there that were convicted on false allegations.. It’s truly sad how corrupt our system truly is.. I’ve seen some things that you just shake your head. My son is a police officer and I told him treat others the way that you would like to be treated.. It will go a long way... I have a Cousin who is a County Commissioner and he’s a people person and he’s done so much for the County and is so involved with the Youth and I think more that are in office for different reasons need to be about the youth. I think it would drop the drop out of school rate a ton... There for I think you would see less crime and less people in Jails.. Because it starts in the home.. Once again Savannah thank you for all that you do and share...

We also did projects in Silicon Valley with Cisco Systems developing the first Netflix prototype at Menlo College. This was during the 1980s and 1990s and part of 2000s. I can tell you a lot about how prisons are big business. I can also tell you no inmate I ever met in a California prison was working for "wages" they were working because it kept them out of trouble, but mainly they worked because for every day they worked they got a day off their prison sentence. If you had a four year stint and you worked you were out in two and with good behavior maybe out in 1.5 years. You will never understand the prison system without first understanding the business and the unions inside the system. In essence politics pretty much ruined the system. I write and report on the "system" every day for a financial blog based out of Toronto Canada. I admire your concerns and you are on the right path, but don't forget there are many other pathways you miss if you just stay on one. Cheers from a farmer in Hawaii!

Money comes with politics! Government contracts, lobbyists, special interests, donors, etc.

Savannah - you’re doing awesome, & this was awesome, and very informative, & important. Just a little tip though… it’s “statute”, not statue. Since you are now (rightly and commendably) talking about laws, it will probably serve you to know this. Thanks for the video, because it helped me learn things I didn’t know as well. Thank you!

Savanna California has a three strike law three strikes and you’re in prison for life. My son has two strikes. I wish they would get rid of this. Lol it’s ridiculous some murders don’t even get life.

I hope the people prove themselves to be worthy of the new lease on life first though. Prove themselves in counseling or whatever measures they are going through. We can’t have them harming people or recommitting the same crimes again. I believe they then deserve another chance ❤️
