- In Part 3 of the Letters from Prison series of the podcast, Savannah continues to read letters from her mom, JULIE, who is writing from the federal prison camp in Lexington, Kentucky. Julie discusses how difficult it has been to miss major life events, like Grayson‘s birthday and his baseball games, Chase‘s birthday, And the passing of Savannah’s ex-fiancé, Nic Kerdiles. She references the pain of being away from Todd on his birthday, and the struggle of not being able to spend her wedding anniversary with her husband for the first time. Her letters become more sparse and further apart, leading Savannah to believe that she was emotionally struggling a lot during those times. She also references the strength that Savannah has to be doing all that she’s doing for the family while her and Todd are away.
On a lighter note, JULIE shares, recipes from prison via magazine clippings, Savannah talks about her lesson cellar appearance on the masked Singer, and recap her reuniting with Chadd from the prior episodes.

And didn’t understand it when everyone cried at the last reading of the prison letters. This episode had me in tears for almost the entirety. God, please let her win her appeal. I can’t imagine being away from my kids.
I get it what people say they did it wrong but the time that they got in prison is crazy It not like they killed someone there get more time then someone who killed someone would get and what about all the other people that did what they did there not the only ones who done this stuff thus would is all messed up

Savannah, that is so true about connecting. I lost my mom ten years ago and it hurts every single day. Even though your mom isn't physically with you, she is alive and you still have those ways of connecting with her until she is back home.
I think of the Chrisleys every day. I can’t imagine the torture of being in there. I pray Julie and Todd get home soon and can be in each other arms soon and with all the family.

I have a question regarding finances. Were Todd &Julie's accounts frozen so nobody has access to them? Can Savannah pull from her parent's account in order to help pay for her siblings necessities? Will Todd and Julie have access to their money if they are to be found innocent or when they get out or will they be getting out to nothing? How does all that work?

Savannah I don’t know if you read these or not but just wanted to tell you that I completely understand your situation . My step daughter was in the same prison as your mom (twice) and this is in the town I live in. I took my little grandchildren there to visit their mother more times than I can count. I feel so bad that you have to do this and sorry your mom is there. I bet she makes the other inmates day better every day with her charm and wit and her positive attitude. God bless y’all .

This has been a horrible year for the family, a horrible few years. I hope your Mom wins her appeal; the sentence was way too long and why were both parents charged? I hope you find a judge that has mercy. Savannah, I hope you can continue to live your own life and don't put it aside to raise your sisters and brothers. You can raise them and still have a life of your own. Losing your ex fiance through a motorcycle accident is just another unbelievable blow. I hope you find a true love who will help you in raising your siblings. I'll bet he's out there. No, because you have a young child, holidays should be spent at home, not in a prison
