  • I sincerely hope this information helps to provide a good quality of life for your pet while they deal with this horrible disease. Currently over 50% of dogs that reach the age of 10 years old have cancer.
Diet is EXTREMELY important if your pet has cancer. You should feed your pet human grade food or a raw diet, excluding any sugars, starches, or grains.
Stress - try to stay as calm and loving as possible to your sick furry family member. Animals can sense when their humans are stressed so in order to give their bodies the best chance to heal, you need to provide a stress free environment.

Our pets are over vacksinated......we are finding this out now. I've had alot of shelter pets who get routinely pricked to no end. I've had 5 dogs die of cancer and 3 of the mysterious rupturing spleen! At fairly young ages. My red heeler was was only 9. She had been jabbed and flew dipped and medicated as a young pup. Got her from an older friend who made me promise to keep up with her jabs. Good lord. I didnt cuz shed had enough!! Ruptured spleen and internally bled out. I had to put her down all in a matter of hours.
We have to stop this pharma madness.

Mine Lab/Rottweiler is 7years had a little polyp in his mouth vet thought it was a bacterial polyp especially with age we weren’t thinking cancer. I call a week and 1 day later,dr. Said they wanted to do a better stain on the base of it. I knew then. But it’s a low level and it could be a year before it comes back. I’ve been researching holistic meds. Mushrooms and stuff. Our local veterinary school wants $2000 for consult and evaluation, $4000 for surgery 4000 for chemotherapy and a 3000$ shot but after removing his lower jaw I’d only be guaranteed a year (of pain and healing ).

I'm SO glad you made this video! I've been "preaching" about a raw, species-appropriate, diet and supplements for dogs and cats for years! I lost a perfectly healthy, 3-year-old dog to a toxic chicken jerky treat from China 8 years ago. When he died, I started frantically researching pet food and treat manufacturing, and what I found was beyond disgusting. The industry is truly deplorable and solely profit-driven. Learning all that led me to seek out truly healthy pet food that people can feel good about giving to their beloved pets. I can count on one hand the brands I trust, and The Honest Kitchen is one of them. It's what I feed my dogs. I add gently cooked egg and various dog-safe fruits and vegetables, and wild-caught salmon oil. I will never feed my dogs kibble - ever. It's the equivalent of feeding your kids McDonald's every day of their lives. I firmly believe that the inferior quality of dry pet food and treats is the main cause behind the canine cancer epidemic that's going on. If anyone would like more information, I encourage you to look up Dr. Karen Becker. She's an integrative veterinarian who is an expert in raw and gently cooked feeding. She has several videos here on UA-cam and a book called The Forever Dog. I'm happy to see how well Sierra is doing and want to say that you're doing the very best for her.

U r 100% right. After losing my bird this past December, I began looking into the pet food for my dog, and like u said, what I discovered about the pet food industry made me so furious. I found Dr. Becker on UA-cam as well as keto pets in Texas. I began feeding my dog a raw diet and will never feed any pet commercial pet food ever again. This all began Christmas morning this past December when he was attacked by another dog that mauled his ear and was a nightmare for several months trying to get his ear healed and infection free. I am in a rural area in north Louisiana. There r 0 holistic veterinarians here, and I have been thru 5 veterinarians here who destroyed his gut and pancreas with their toxic medications that caused him to be severely deficient in several vitamins and minerals causing him a great deal of pain. The vet's here have 0 knowledge in nutrition and the synergistic workings of the body, making it an uphill battle for me to get him the essential life-saving care he so desperately needs right now. One vet never even examined him. Never asked what was going on that brought us into her office, or even introduced herself when entering the room after sitting for hours to be seen and meeting her for the very first time ever. She walked in, sat down, and proceeded to tell me that he was going to have to have his leg amputated that she was going to give him an injection he would need to have weekly for several months, along with another injection he would need to have on a regular basis to treat arthritis! She must not have ever had anyone tell her no before, because after I asked what kind of injections she was wanting to give him, which was more steroids and nsaids, her jaw hit the floor, and she got really irritated and very pissy sounding when I told her I was there specifically to have her check his vitamin levels to make sure he was not having issues with deficiencies that I suspected was going on, and that NO, she was not chopping his leg off, and shooting him up with more toxic chemicals weekly that caused the problem to begin with! I was already using a high quality cbd oil and other anti-inflammatory herbs to treat joint issues. When I asked her what the blood work showed, she hatefully asked if I wanted a copy of it and didn't even go over it to explain what it all meant. That she could not test for vitamin deficiencies there that i would have to take him to lsu in Baton Rouge where they would have to put him to sleep and do a biopsy of his liver to determine if he had vitamin and mineral deficiencies! That is a huge, ball faced lie! I had to spend hours researching info just to be able to understand what it showed. After getting a small understanding of what the blood work showed, I suspected he had several B vitamin deficiencies. I found a vet 45 min from me that at least was humble enough to listen to what I suspected was going on and did a urine test on him and showed he was indeed deficient in vitamin B. He lied though and said that the only B vitamin dogs need is vitamin b 12 that it is so close to b1, b6, and b9 that it would take care of all of the symptoms he was having. Dispite me having the most active bioavailable forms of these vitamins I was going to give him to treat him with I just needed to know the proper doses of each to give him he instead ignored my questions on that and said he needed the injection that it would last longer and fix everything! I learned differently about that synthetic b12 shot after coming home researching it. My poor dog could hardly get up for 2 days after getting that shot. It does not last longer than methylcobalamin and is poorly absorbed, and what does get absorbed still has to be converted over to the active form in the body before it can be used. On top of that, it has cyanide in it! I have been so frustrated trying to educate myself, so I can make sure these vets don't do further damage to my poor baby, and get him the treatment he needs to actually fix the root cause of all of this. I wish we had a veterinarian like Dr. Becker here in north Louisiana. THERE IS A HUGE NEED HERE FOR ONES LIKE HER! There r 0 holistic veterinarians here whatsoever, which leaves me all alone trying to figure all of this out in order to save the bestest, and most loving soul I have ever known from any more pain and suffering where he can thrive and be healthy and happy again.

@@michellemooney1460 It's absolutely insane just how little so many veterinarians know about nutrition! The veterinary schools are all funded by the big pet food manufacturers, so they're taught to push kibble, especially brands like prescription Hill's Science Diet. That is a horrible food and there's nothing about it that warrants being called "prescription." Another good source of information regarding pet food, treats, and the industry overall is an organization called Truth About Pet Food. The person that runs it, Susan Thixton, tirelessly works to get information out of the FDA and AAFCO, and try to get them to protect pets and their owners. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this, but you're definitely doing the right thing for your dog!

I have 4 huskies. My 7 year old husky yera was recently diagnosed with mammory cancer. She has had the tumor removed, but they said that she has metastasized to her lungs and one behind her heart. Her prognosis to say the least was not good.
I have studied some integrative medicine. And everything that is in the video is extremely helpful. They gave my dog 4 weeks to live. And it is on week four, but she is driving and doing well. She is an X-ray coming up on the 12th to see how her tumors are doing. I am giving her the Johanna Budwig diet. If you haven't heard of that which is great for humans and dogs with cancer. She has hardly any complex grain's carbohydrates or sugars at all. I have just ordered some Turkey tail and we will add that to her diet. She also takes essiac twice a day, ip6 And 2 Chinese herbal blends.
I see that this video was from a year ago. I'm wondering how Sierra is doing now. Wishing her the best hoping to hear good news.

There is a lot of info on this on the “veterinary secrets” UA-cam channel. Several comments on the video from people who say their pets were likely saved by this. It’s worth checking into, and would be good to do in addition to doing what the guy in this video is suggesting. She took such good care of me through my surgeries and chemo. This year, she was diagnosed with mast cell cancer. No doubt stress was a major factor for both of us. We had her tumors removed. Since then she’s been very GI sensitive and doesn’t do well with any protocol, and chemo would be terrible. Otherwise, she’s doing well- and I hope to tweak her diet a bit. It could be the natural progression of things, but given the nature of mast cells and degranulation, I think the stress from surgery triggered disease progression. She’s good now, but I think we’re done with surgical interventions. She’s on prednisone, probiotics, the same mushroom cocktail I take, Benadryl, and famotidine. I changed her diet too. Thank you so much for sharing all this information! I love seeing how much Sierra loves you and how happy she is. You are doing a fantastic job with her, and it really shows in your videos. I'm so glad that she's doing so well. I miss having a dog, but I lost my last dog to cancer (sarcolymphatic) in 2001. It utterly crushed me to the point that I haven't been able to have another since. Seeing all this information, all these options available now, makes me think that maybe it can be a possibility for me at some point. I just suck at handling loss. Hang in there, I know how hard it is to watch a dear friend suffer. She is clearly thriving thanks to you, so you should be really proud of that. Really grateful for your video!

I saw a lot of comments that when they got it out it grew on the same spot and couple on different body parts. I got it tested for biopsy and it was low grade cancer they said. I am thinking of giving him CBD to fight the mast cell tumor instead of going through surgery

I have been through the whole cancer thing with many humans. I think you made the right choice. Chemo is only worth it if the cancer goes into complete remission which is quite rare after it metastasizes. With my mom we decided against chemo rather good food etc. The docs gave her 6 month she almost got 3 years and that's without the supplements I wanted her to take. With my dad he declared war on cancer & did surgery, chemo & radiation. He lasted less than a year. This ready to fight idea people take is the wrong way to look at it. Choose the best way to live with cancer rather than fight it.

Long story short. 4 vets in 4 states told me arthritis and prescribed Prednisone. Ended up in Mexicali and the vet correctly diagnosed the cancer in 2 minutes. He told me it i would have gotten there 2 weeks earlier he could have amputated. If the day comes, cannabis is a Godsend and he would ask when he needed it. You are a great caring owner! I am so thankful for your video. It is giving me hope. I was just told yesterday by a specialist vet that Jay likely has cancer. He has had swelling in the cheek and mouth for months now. I took him to Banfield about 6 mos ago and they extracted most of his teeth thinking the swelling was caused by an abscess. He continued to swell afterwards and they kept giving him Clavamox and rimadyl. I’ve been to them multiple times, they’ve done X-rays and physical exams, but could not find anything and they just thought that the suture from the extraction must not have healed all the way. Finally last month I went back and asked to be referred to a specialist. They did the 3d scans yesterday, put him under anesthesia, and it was so hard to see him on the table with his tongue out. They said it was most likely cancer and it had started to eat away at his jaw bone from the nose to the eyes. They said I have two choices: take a biopsy and wake him up n enjoy what little time we have w him or euthanize. There’s no way I’m going to have him euthanized rn. He is otherwise eating normally with a very healthy appetite, is able to go up and down the stairs just fine, and pooping and peeing normally. He is sleeping a lot but prob due to meds. I just purchase the holistic meds you have your dog on. Tomorrow soon as the store opens, we will be picking up fenbendazole from petco and we are going to fight this sucker! Jay is a little fighter, ever since I rescued him 7 yrs ago. He’s been hanging on for months now. I am so disappointed in Banfield for not sending the referral to the specialist right away. But rn my focus is to try anything and everything to help my little guy 🤞 I need to stay strong…momma is done crying. We’re in fight mode. THANK YOU for all the tips.

I should have been more thorough. Anyways, found a softball sized abdominal tumor after attempting to treat a UTI and then I found one in his mouth. I'm putting mine on chicken only until the first and going to keto diet. On the first, I'm going to see how bad it is and if its ethical to keep him alive. I blew $600 and went broke getting some medication and an ultrasound. Living on a fixed income from VA disability, I just hope he doesn't suffer too much before the first of the month. There’s definitely studies about serrapeptase, it reversed thyroid cancer in one study I read. It is also a powerful anti-inflammatory and clears vessels of blockage, for human heart disease too.
