@rekrn12345 I'm talking about a proffesional helicopter pad. Helipad has to be at least 30 by 30 feet, licensed landing pad approved by the government and landing pad lights. Depending on where you put the helipad can vary.
Awesome video man. I wish i could do all of that what you do flying everywhere like it's a car. The thumbnail is not an EC130 but a EC120. Love the 120 to, but i like your R22 to. Would like to see you fly the EC120 to.
I have really been enjoying watching your videos. Being a helicopter pilot was always my dreams, then Type 1 diabetes disqualified me from that pursuit. Keep posting great videos.
Hey there mat- loved your videos, watched for a while but I think you should keep your thumbnails as the ones you had before! These ones are to over the top lmao and the previous ones were simple and looked great for your style Awesome video btw
My Nephew is Raising Canes # 1 Fan here in St. Louis. He drives from South County to Arnold a Lot to Enjoy the Chicken Tenders. I haven’t tried Restaurant yet. 👍
You don’t have to call anyone to land or anything? You just go wherever you please?? That’s pretty cool. I like that. I bet the attention you get from people who haven’t seen this before must be fun to watch you just show up in a helicopter then just dip out lol that’s pretty cool
found this channel recently thanks to the almighty algorithm lol. Do you have any new/interested pilot links or suggestiions on how to find local resources?
had the privilege of being a passenger in something similar that you fly(small 2 seater), we chose to remove the doors so for me it was scary as hell banking left, this was in Durban South Africa, flew along the coast, city and nature reserve. It was honestly insane. Your videos bring back good memories so keep em coming and keep flying safe out there.
@Tom-zs6bb Me neither, I love it, but not everyone is the same and a lot of people sadly have some form of fear of heights that can get triggered by many things.
I think haveing helo/multicopter cable safe parking spaces with obstacle free approaches and safe rotor space is going to be a move for retail in the future.. once urban air mobility is here ;=P
I know he only has a private license so i cant pay him for flying, but i'd love to donate to the cause type flight with him. that'd be sweet. Love your videos! Makes me jealous each time haha
Do you worry about the rotor clipping the tail boom issue with thise Robinsons? I just was wa video of one falling out of the sky. Instructor and student killed. The comment section was full of people saying how dangerous they are. Is there anything to that?
@@PerennialWheat I understand that. The only reason I asked was the surprising amount of comments on the crash video about the tail boom strike issues. And that's exactly what happend in this case. The Heli was several thousand feet up, and falling straight down, but the tail was 100 feet above it, going a different direction. That, coupled with the fact that there was a flight instructor on board, makes me wonder if theres something going on that isn't pilot error.
Wouldn't you just love to have a heliport at your home?
Yeah that would be around $25.000 to build.
aye what da robot doin in the car? 💀
@@ItsAlphaEagle I don't think some concrete and a painted target at my house would cost $25,000. Maybe you meant to say $250.

@@ItsAlphaEagle Still i wouldn't be that expensive to actually make unless the license itself actually costs money.
"Tell him your name jake"😂😂
Ha. That's just a good parent knowing that their kid might be too shy to say his name, or will say it, and the person won't understand what he said.
It's very rewarding to see the attention you give to people, especially children.
Children clearly aren't sentient which is why most ppl see them as evil annoying filth.
God i love that youtube recommended me your first video when it came out! Been subscribed since then and bro u deserve the growth you have!
mattylp i am you're biggest fan! love from england 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

May you be safe on your travels.😊😊😊
This is wild! I live in Wentzville! I am getting into aircraft and am loving it! Any chance I could catch a ride?😁 I'll pay! haha
“shoot, there’s a mouse in the heliport again”
i love it when you do this
Nice sharing🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
You should get some small toy helicopters that look like yours to give to kids if they see you coming in.
I’ve seen this place before, never been there but sounds good
It so cool your one of my favorite youtuber Becaue your the only does video about your cool helicopter
What happened to the kids? Did they get a tour? Sit in the chopper?
yep! I just did not film it, the kid had 100 questions about the helicopter haha
@@mattylp8 Bummer that would have been cool.
Awesome video!

Why was banking left scary?
I was the left passenger, no door, shit seatbelt, feels like ur hanging out with nothing keeping u there @@Tom-zs6bb
@Tom-zs6bb The perception of falling out of the absent door. As the OP said, the doors were removed, so thats what they mean by scary, probably.
@@umbratherios5614That's as good an explanation as any, I suppose. Personally, it never bothered me at all.

this is cool to see cause i live 15 minutes from there 😂
Nice video
What speed do you cruise at, and what’s its top speed? Thanks
Im a plane geek but the R22 is my fav helicopter
Wooo Wentzville!
I think haveing helo/multicopter cable safe parking spaces with obstacle free approaches and safe rotor space is going to be a move for retail in the future.. once urban air mobility is here ;=P
All good!
I didn't expect the startup of your helicopter to sound like a Volkswagen! 😂
What so you normally do with your helicopter? Is it purely private use?
vamos vamos vamos St.Louis!
This is the future, but with Drone Taxis
My son love your vidos he whant to just like you
Holy moly!!!
I dont know what we would film if we Collab but I would love to meet you one day
I didn’t know you could land in Wentzville!
Are you going to Wings and Wheels at Smart in April?
What is required to land where you'd like? Like how do you know if you're allowed to land at certain places?

I'll have to keep an eye out for if & when you fly by Lock & Dam #25 [Winfield] and you fly the river
❤
have you done a chic-fil-a yet? and if you havent i would love to see it!
Man i wish i had a chopper
I too live in Kansas City, Misery
Did the kids ever see the heli?....
Yes! I just did not film it.
If i have this i could go anywhere i want without waiting the buss
Im here 36sec after this vid was uploaded (also i stoped kids from saying first)
pls keep posting more video
who doesn't love chiclen !!
Are you building up hours for something specific or just enjoying flying?
he said in a past video he bought the helicopter to build hours so i would assume yes
I mean more like to go commercial or the specific purpose or if it's just for recreational experience.@@zesolodar
You didn’t end up letting the kid sit in the heli? Or did they leave too quickly or summing?
Can you explain the wind indicator on the windshield and how you use it?
It is a visual reference that tells the pilot if the aircraft is flying in trim.
cant wait to own a helicopter and skip traffic :)
I’m ready to fly with you bro, I live on 364 by St. Peter’s , Lmk buddy, I fly out of KSTL usually. PM bro
It’s funny you meant camping, the Robinson R22 Wikipedia article has a picture of someone with a camper towing a R22.
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
how fast does this helicoper go
Want to know how much is jet fuel prices for a trip can you make a short video on it the cost of flying ?
Yes!
That helicopter is fueled with avgas, not jet fuel.
Hey Matt did ya get a different chopper it's a different color ?
Just a clickbait thumbnail
I wish Dan! The picture in the thumbnail is just a stock photo.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Find a rooftop landing, if possible.
What’s the helicopter like in fuel?
wahoo
bro i want a ride
I can in fact inform you, those are not glaciers. 😂
An Island 🏝️ is good for camping but there's no sport to land at that Island. . A 2day camp
Nah bro is flexing food on us

Heli pilots are trained to know their helicopter's limits. As long as they fly in safe conditions and properly there shouldn't be any issues.
@@PerennialWheat I understand that. The only reason I asked was the surprising amount of comments on the crash video about the tail boom strike issues. And that's exactly what happend in this case. I thought you bought a new helicopter with that thumbnail
@Mattylp Did that family come to check out the helicopter and if so why didn't you show it?
maybe it was to save storage or for privacy reasons.
Небольшой вопрос: кем трудишься? Кто по работе?
Hi
Salman Attari vlogs in Pakistan
The loud music at RC is enough for me to avoid it.
I have always wanted to get my license but how are people able to afford the helicopter?
Who cares about the copyright music you need to put it in so we can hear the music.
UA-cam will ban you if you use copyright music I've lost 3 channels due to that
Yeah, UA-cam would take his video down
how can u just land in town without getting in trouble
Ugh, clickbait thumbnail
I got a 44 with your name on it! Let me know when you want to pick it up!
Man if you did traffic reports, id watch regardless of not even living in the state!
