All I have to do is record a video talking about how most iPhone 7 failures are not VDD_MAIN shorts an VIOLA!! 3 in a row VDD_MAIN shorts. Happy days :-)
Many of you are probably wondering how we are liking Florida --- WE ARE LOVING IT! I'll be posting more about our move very soon now that we are more settled in.
STS Telecom hey there that was amazing. Would you help me fixing an issue with my iPhone 5s? after replacing the battery everything worked ok but Bluetooth phone calls. Bluetooth music, recording and WhatsApp phone calls all are working, but Bluetooth phone calls isn’t. Any idea?
Which software you use the ic chose in pc ....plz provide me the software download link...
Can an iPhone 7plus that had liquor poured on the face b fixed? It doesn’t turn on and I can’t get any data from it help plz
STS Telecom Hi can you tell me what might be wrong I left my iPhone 7plus in car it was very hot stayed in car for 5 hours I tried reboot nothing plus holding volume down and power at same time still black screen. Do you think the heat did something
How much do u charge for repairs?
Nice to see you back Jason. Hope you're liking the new place. A nice and informative video as always..
This guy is selfless, he's willing to share secret info about phone repairing.. I just found this channel yesterday when I was searching on how to start your own phone repairing business.. I've learned a lot from just watching your two videos.. Thanks a lot.. I just hit the subscribe button 👍
Good to see you back, glad the move went well :D
Welcome back good to see your back doing vids hope all went well in the big move
Good to see you back Jason. Be interested to see your new lab.
awesome to see you back. your office looks nice and set up the same, well organized.
Nice to see you back man!!!
Welcome back! Glad to see you!
Nice to have you back. Thanks!
This is a great video. I have watched most of your videos so I do know how busy you are and I wish you good luck getting the family all settled in to the new home. It will just take time! Please could it be possible to make another video just like this but for those new to phone logic board repair. Aimed at fault diagnosis and finding shorts on IPhone 7 & 7 Plus for beginners. You are by far the most understandable UA-camr of explaining what they are doing but I still need more explanation and maybe a guide or steps to follow for trouble shooting and short finding. I think there are already good videos explaining basics like Ohms law but for phone repair it seems to be all just screen changing etc and then a huge jump to advanced stuff with jumpers. You are the man. Please do a more in depth version of this video aimed at beginners as if I am ever to get my head around this I think you are my best chance!
Nice to see you back. Looking forward to More content.
Glad to see you back!
welcome back ,nice to see your new place looks about the same .looking forward for more video

Thank u. Will be posting on UA-cam again really soon. This move has been difficult.
yay! welcome back!
Amazing brother watching from Kenya
Great to see you back Jason. I thought that the resolution on those thermal cameras was not particularly good?
Thanks. I thought so too until I seen some of the videos that Union Repair posted and then Rossmann's revisit. Some of them are looking very useful for iPhone PCBs.
Welcome back
I love the way you do it .very convincing .i love that👍👍👍👍
Smashing job, evil cap expelled lol.
Your new work room looks very similar to the old one, It's good to keep it close as you have got used to where everything is.
Perhaps the room is lighter too.
Thank u! It's much much brighter here. Aside from being a newer structure than before, I get a lot of sunlight coming in. The sunlight mixed with fake light can be a challenge for recording tho.
Fantastic video
It's very nice to see you back :)
Great work and please, get a propper freeze spray, it's cheap :D ;)
Keep up the good work
Thanks. Most duster can serve as decent freeze spray other than the taste. The stuff in this video is horribly junk tho. :D
STS Telecom I use Liqui Moly -40°C freeze spray and it works realy great and last long so you have time to connect the power and see what's heating up befpre the spray evaporates :D
So skilled, so great
welcome back! waiting for the first Hurricane video! lol
u r da iphone hardware king sir......
I'm very new to this and finding it hard to get some good info on the basics. Really helpful video here about shorts in general, but I'm trying to fix a tablet right now, and trying to determine if the board has a short.
When I hook up the DC supply, I'm getting 0.6A going through the circuit. Is this normal? Sorry for bothering you with a question already. New subscriber here
Yes new florida stream :) welcome back :) Very happy to see u still using the trusty Aoyue(Tenma) !
Cormac Pyper this thing will never die! It's been making a bit more vibration than before though. When it's cooling down, it distorts the microscope some.
haha ya they are very noisy on th cool down Paul mentioned that's one of the biggest differences he noticed was how quiet the quick is compared to this, those presets r tempting to me though :D im gonna buy one at some point :D
@@ststele hey i have a iPhone 7 plus that i wanna send to u could u give me a contact number please
Hi love your work, wish i would have learn something from you.
I just wanna know from where you get all this motherboard diagrams??
Good job 👍
I love u.. Thank you very well and I hope 2 learn more about this.
Good job bro .
Hey great stuff as always ...im an old school tech but thinkin on doin ph repairs any advice?
In your opinion, what would be a good iPhone that usually have the least amount of repairs? When I upgrade cellphone, I usually buy a used one. Thanks for your channel, I have learned a lot about cellphones from you
good job bro keep it up
Bro u r just awesome
Hey Jason, glad to see you back! I'm about to buy a microscope (been using a cheap usb one), and was wondering what level of magnification you use for all the really fine work?
This one is 7-45x. I couldn't imagine needing more than 45x for anything phone related. 45x seems to be plenty for even long screw damage repair.
Thanks man!
Freezespray is always so easy to find a short, but yours wasn't really freezing. And i also use airduster to do it, because its a hell of a lot cheaper to get here. your board should look like there is snow everywhere.
Glad to see your back! I see you’re not using zxw; what software are you using? Zxw is great but it doesn’t show vias for some devices.
In this video I am using Easy Draw from unionrepair.com but I also use FlexBX from pldaniels.com/flexbv/
Easydraw - very good! I have the same software// LIKE!!!
MobileService365
Which software???? I want the link...plz provide me..
good job.. thx
Thankxx dear 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great video as usual Jason.
My zxw tools program is different from yours.
Also mines throws up a Trojan virus warning.
Can you please let me know where you got your clean download.
Thanks for all your videos. Helped me 1000x over
Thank you for commenting. In this video I'm using EasyDraw from unionrepair.com
It also produces a virus warning and is tricky to download. I believe it has to do with the way they have their licensing methods.
Glad to see you back!!! I have the same aoyue lol, what's the tip you use for it? Is it the t1130? And do you ever use another one?
I'm not sure what the tip # is but the inner diameter is 6mm. I've never used another tip on this station.
STS Telecom awesome thanks!!!
where do you get your schematics that you are clicking through? What program holds all those schematics?
lov you sir thank you
Super sir
22:02 is there any thermal paste inside that part? My iPhone 7 Plus is going very hot while playing games. It wasn’t like this in the past. I’m planning to apply thermal paste but I’m not sure.
My 7+ is dead. Can I send you the logic board to see if you can recover my videos and pics that were not backed up to the cloud?
What’s the little thing that you were on the see the caps and what ones are connected to each other
You are great 😍😍😍
Welcome!
Hey Baba! whats the flux name that you are using. One that I have dries quick when hit with heat and it bubbles so it moves the damn ic components around.
Thks for the information. I’ll take my I phone 7 to the Apple Store I’m my area.
Where do you get your schematic?
U r great
He should use 3 1/8 thermal paper from office depot and place a piece of thermal paper on the board and a thin foam sheets on top of thethermal paper, about 1/8 thick and use the length need.then place piece of glass on top to add pressure ,1/4 inch thickness, cut to 4 by 6 inches.
Then add the power start at 20 seconds and work your way up tell you see a image of the radiate heat from the short .
Hi.
Use the super cold spray. Much better and no nasty smell or gases.
Also some old petrol trick (the one for lighters) will do the job.
If you make an research of a good termocamera please share.
By the way we'll organise workshop.
Thankkkkkkkk yoouuu.... you are the bestttttttt at it on close zooom
heya oh that's nice your in your new place can't wait for the next couple off video's to havefully see your place a bit more ( the shop) I don't mind seeing your prived live but that is all up to you
I never showed as much as I had planned.. I feel I've only just now started to feel comfortable!
Hi can you advice the best temperature to use when changing an iphone u2 ic
Happy to see you again. Can i ask how much you will charge the customer in cases like thise?
This customer was charged $150 + $8 return shipping.
STS Telecom you will not laugh if i tell you that i fix this kind of repairs for about 15$( 3000DZA 1$=~200DZA) here in Algeria 🤕🤕🤕 yes sir believe or not?!?
Wow, the difference is truly amazing! It's good to see people in all parts of the world doing this stuff.
what alcohol are u using for cleaning????? please send the link
Do you know where I can get boardview files like .brd files for all iPhone models? I'm new to the repair industry so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jaki masz obiektyw do kamery?
How much you charged for fix this kind of issues? I have one with no power on.
WOW.....florida is in the house! sir this is first vid right?
Yup, very first video from FL. Major milestone after moving so far. It has been challenging.
I am from turkey very very very thenk you
Awesome ❤
Thanks you!
Where can I buy the alcohol you use ??
You could do it how Louis does it and pour alcohol on it and see if it bubbles.
What is your educational background? Are you an electrical engineer? The more I watch your videos the more I am becoming interested in electronics repair. What schooling/ classes would you recommend to attain a suitable amount of knowledge to do what you are doing? Thank you so much for the videos.
Adam
Well mine has solder balls that squeezed out and then shorted together VDD_Main and Ground because they were touching so that meant it couldn’t turn on and this was near Tristar so luckily that didn’t break.
I hope it worked out!
You should take one image camera direct on your power supply. How much you give power at all capastrors for check short. then we can learn much faster. thanks a lot you are great. Saqib from Oslo Norway
Hi Jason can you give the link for the microscope camera .5 Barlow c-mount lens
i bought the same amscope but i cant find the adapter anywhere , i'll really appreciate if you can provide me the link
Thanks yes you are doing the best jobs i like watching your videos
Thanks. I would have a hard time finding this one in my purchase history but, the way I found it ---
The microscope came with the slider adapter thing that hooks to the microscope head. I measured the hole on the adapter my scope came with & the hole on the camera, then searched for an adapter that had the same sizes... I think I'm lucky to have gotten it on the first try. Honestly, I like the setup that Paul Daniels is using much better. I think his adapter is 0.75x but the whole setup makes his camera sit nearly flat on the microscope head. It doesn't stand up like a "rooster tail" as he calls it. :-)
STS Telecom Thank you very much for your reply i actually texted all of my favourite subscribed guys including luis rossman , ipad rehab much more but you are the only one who replied i really appreciate that you took some time out for someone who follows you thanks man i will do that to measure the adaptor hole and see what i can do but it was gonna be easy for me to just buy the same but still thanks for the reply
Nice
Can you replace a micro usb connector? It’s on a circuit board from a drone controller and I just can’t see that small stuff anymore. The board is pulled already
