@@tolstoyed the detective doughter in the books always get in the danger i read 3 books so far from the series and they are amazing she is smart character but just get in danger and her father is extremelly smart character
But her mother/the detective's wife is already dead, like "in every other show with the same premise", lol. Black men used to complain that they always got killed in the movies. But try being a female character over the age of 30........they kill you off before the story even begins. All of these movies have to have one scene where the father and daughter discuss how much they miss "Mom" because she died of cancer or something similar. Which explains her lack of presence in the movie. And the disenfranchisement ($$$) of women over 30 in the industry. Even though women don't get a discount on paying to watch these crappy movies based on the same premise. Then they can move on with the story where the main characters are an older man and a younger woman. There's way too many grown women being dead in films. They need to start making every movie have the main characters be a middle aged mother who lives with her young, hot son......because the father/husband died previously. That would be more realistic since women outlive men, and that way I get to only watch young, hot men.
@Najic: All women fall while trying to run away in films. It's so predictable that, when there's a woman being chased, I actually EXPECT the woman to fall. I'm not kidding. And most of the time, even though the woman looks fit enough (because that's the only women they have in films, even though the films feature all types of men including old ones, fat ones, etc.), the women can't seem to be able to pick themselves up off the ground or floor. They wind up doing that backwards crawl on all fours.
His kids treat Wisting pretty bad, including in Season 4. It's pretty lame. Boohoo, you worked long hours as a cop when we were little, everything's your fault, I don't want to hang out with now to help make up for it, boohoohoo.
I am a huge fan of Norwegian TV dramas! This show is great!
