I would have just unbolted the knuckle and everything attached to it and put it in as I dropped the lower control arm down. Seems easier than messing with a sketchy compressor.
I have reason to believe that it is quite hard on the upper ball joints but it didn’t wear them out or visibly damage them after about a year so far. Definitely something to consider before buying though
@@thegrage6123Are they still running good? Did this same spacer lift and it maxed out my control arms and they sit on the frame, was wondering if yours rode like this too even after a camber castor bolt.

Does the upper ball joint hit the frame now?
When did you take out the spring compressor?

How did you get that top bolt off the shock absorber
How does it ride and how are the upper ball joints? Heard those spacer put a lot of stress on it

do u have longer knuckles?
What shock did you use with the lift? Did you use a stock shock or larger one?
I used the stock shocks with the shock extenders that came with the kit
@@thegrage6123 do you know if an F-150 shock or another truck shock will work instead? What brand were the shock extenders?
@@scriptmaster3357the f 150 shocks are not compatible with a ranger, they’re too long and don’t have the correct mounting bracket
hello, please do you think we could install it on a 2003 FORD RANGER PICK UP 2WD SINGLE CAB ?

OK 🤩 Thanks ..have a good day 😎🤙💯
Where can I get the spacers like that for my ranger?
I got mine on EBay
To much work 😢😢😢 just put spring spacers in
I think your ranger might be just as rusty as mine
This is considered very clean for a truck that’s spent it’s whole life in New England… either way it’s a bit rusty yeah
@@thegrage6123 mine is from Wyoming its pretty bad 2
