    Have a 2004 Taurus SES. Do NOT have tools or resources to take the dash or any thing APART to "modify " the radio in this way. How about a QUICK fix?

    i have done that a few times, it does work. You can pump it in the brake booster line, the throttle body or PCV line, It does work... Just buy a couple single small cigars at the store but get a very mild smelling brand so that the cigar does not overwhelm you unless you like smoke. Get the ones with the plastic tip filter, they fit right in the tube. Make sure the cigar is well lit...

    After viewing numerous UA-cam videos and wasting much time and aggravation on this job, this technique was the simplest and most effective way to free up the clutch shaft from the water pump. No rent a tool nor fabricating one needed. Thank you for taking your time for making this video. It should have been the first choice of videos on UA-cam listed on this subject

    I tried this technique......and it worked flawlessly. Just tap the screwdriver in until its snug and then smack the crescent wrench and it pops undone so effortlessly !!!

    Hey I just changed the ignition switch from my 04 Ford ranger I lost the key so I couldn't remove the ignition switch so I used a drill bit to drill the pin out then I used a screw driver to turn the ignition I have a new ignition switch but now I've lost the ball pin that goes in the bottom But my question is could I use a screw where the original ball pin went to hold my ignition switch in place?

    Thinking I will replace mine with a custom bolt made from like 4140 . Bolt shears off for so many. Design flaw is my guess.

    • @thegrage6123
      @thegrage6123 8 місяців тому

      I haven’t, only seen those in this vid. I assume you’re looking to find labels for the tape deck solder joints? If the 87 has a volume knob/potentiometer like the last stereo in the video, I would go that route instead of tying into the tape deck. Tape deck has the downside of needing the tape playing while listening to BT. Plus the places to tie into the volume pot are usually all the same.

    • @Filterfinder
      @Filterfinder 9 місяців тому

      You can’t see that the screwdriver is wedged behind the wheel that directly connects to the nut of the fan? If you can’t figure out where you are in this video you probably shouldn’t mess with your cooling fan. You’d probably hit the wrench the wrong way.

    • @Filterfinder
      @Filterfinder 9 місяців тому

      Also just watch like videos on replacing the belt alternator water pump and such and ppl will show alternative ways to get the cooling fan nut loose.

    • @davidceballos6862
      @davidceballos6862 9 місяців тому

      @@Filterfinderok yeah ok sorry about that I can see where you put it. I am trying to replace water pump yeah. I have 2002 ford ranger 3.0 what I’m spending days on now trying to simply remove exactly this fan clutch nut. I’m stuck on this step. Sorry I’m frustrated I’ve watched like 50+videos idk I can keep the pulley from spinning no matter what it’s wild. Are you really getting the screw driver in there deep?

    • @thegrage6123
      @thegrage6123 9 місяців тому

      If the fan clutch is on there very tight, I suggest removing the belt and using a strap wrench to hold the pulley. The design of the pulley does not allow for a fan clutch holding tool that would usually be used. Good luck with your water pump, that is the job I did while filming this video. Thanks for watching.

    • @davidceballos6862
      @davidceballos6862 9 місяців тому

      @@thegrage6123 ok I’ll look for that tool. Yeah my pulley is the absolute worst design. I lost great respect for vehicles in general because of this lol 😂. My pulley in indented inside about inch or more and only has 3 little screw holes. I tried putting lingscrew attached to my crow bar to hold. I tried wrapping straps around it tight and it doesn’t work eventually pulley keep turning, idk lol. Definitely it’s not as easy or simple as ppl make it look on UA-cam

    My 01 Sport Trac has a strange clucking sound and you can feel it through the truck but only after you have been driving fast on the freeway for a while and then you slow down and exit for a fuel stop and you are moving very slow just moving up to the bowsers and then by the time you get fueled up and start to leave it has stopped making the noise again. Would this be symptoms of worn Spider Gear. Thanks.

    This video makes no sense. For one thing there is no way that your original programmed key will turn a new lock cylinder with a different key. Your original key will only turn a cylinder that matches its cut. Are you saying that the new key can be coded to the computer by placing the original key next to the cylinder?
