Concerning Questions about my hands or dark knuckles . Please note, I am on a skin lightening journey! My knuckles have always been a tough area for me and I’ve been working on them. I address this in my newest skin lightening video. So watch it instead of constantly asking the same questions ! Thank you! Watch the video : ua-cam.com/video/9_iks936HrA/v-deo.html
The blond hair. The blue eyes. The excitement over people asking if you’re mixed 😔. I really hate that the world we live in makes people of color (but especially black people) feel this way. I really hate how white supremacy has fooled the entire world into believing in, and striving for Eurocentric beauty standards. I understand where the feelings come from so I don’t blame you, but I hope one day you can appreciate your naturally poppin melanated skin. In the mean time stay safe with all of these harsh products.
People are disappointed in this but honestly this is gunna clear up my dark areas. I hate that my hands are darker than my whole body. Thanks for sharing knowledge even if it’s controversial.
I think these tips are helpful for someone like myself who is looking for a way to treat localized hyperpigmentation in areas like the armpit, bikini… I’m not interested in lightening my entire body, but I respect a person’s choice to do whatever makes them happier in the skin that THEY ARE LIVING IN!
I am not black but I must say it's disheartening to see people do this to themselves. I am NOT criticizing you for doing it because I know society is to blame, but it's sad. If you are black and you're reading this, YOU ARE STUNNING. Don't let anybody make you think otherwise.
Sometimes dark skin females get teased. But it seems to be ok to be dark skinned if you are a male. But the dark skinned males are the ones that's doing the teasing 🙄
no matter how light you get with these creams, you can never escape that sammy sosa unnatural undertone to your skin that screams to everyone, 'this is not my true color!'. please let the world know that you love and respect yourself by wearing your real hair and your real shade proudly
These comments are SO sad. All of you wanting your skin lighter. 💔 Just breaks my heart. I have definitely had my struggles with my brown skin but it is a gift and blessing. God created you just the way you are. You are ENOUGH.
I know the comments are against it but I appreciate this. Bc I’m going to use this method on my inner thighs and butt. I feel like it’ll even out with the rest of my thighs. ❤️
Whew this is deep. Praying you get your healing. Praying you fully accept yourself. Praying that you get all those voices out that told you your skin tone was ugly. Meanwhile in Europe they are injecting themselves to be darker....... Melanin is a true gift from god and the cosmos. Praying for you.
It takes LOTS of courage to come on UA-cam and share this, so for that, I do admire and commend you. You are BEAUTIFUL at ANY shade, but at your "before" shade, you were BREATHTAKINGLY GORGEOUS! It was just something about that mouth-watering, milk-chocolate melanin accompanied by that thousand-watt smile of yours! However, as a melanated beauty myself, I do understand your reasoning. I live in Mississippi. It is rather disheartening to get glossed over for someone with a lighter skin tone SIMPLY because of that. Even in that, people are entitled to be attracted to whatever or whomever they're attracted to. Still, a person should not be MISTREATED or judged more HARSHLY because of their skin tone. For those of you who want to claim "internalized self-hatred," please do take a moment to acknowledge/take into consideration the following factors that may impact someone's decision to change the color of their skin 1. social environment, 2. hurtful past experiences 3. differing levels of tolerance for rejection and repeated discriminatory treatment. Quick question: Is it also self-hatred for someone to get a Brazilian Buttlift or to alter her shape by wearing corsets? I'm simply saying that at the end of the day, no matter WHAT the reasoning, people do have a right to work on whatever it is THEY don't like about themselves--- even if it IS already "amazing" to everyone else. For all those with disparaging comments, she TOLD you that if you don't like skin lightening, you could stop watching at THAT point! BTW, I clicked on because I want to lighten my knees and elbows. Thanks for the helpful information, Sis.!
To each their own! I’m just thinking about young brown boys and girls with beautiful skin seeing this tutorial. I hate to be insensitive but you can’t tell me this isn’t textbook self hate. Your original brown skin was so pretty!!
The evanesce cream is my favorite , Ive tried other Permanence products, and the evanesce worked wonders on my hyperpigmentation. I also had areas on my body that were basically 7 shades darker and this lightened it up quickly. Love these products!
I don’t see any problem with your skin before but still I respect your choice. If you wanted to be lighter, still it’s up to you and I totally understand as long as it makes you happy and comfortable and be confident.
When watching this video, the only thing I could ponder, is what happened in your life that made you not like yourself? What comment penetrated so deeply that cause you think light skin brings acceptance? God gave us a temporary existence in these bodies, so what caused us to be so ungrateful to obsess over vanity, when there is so much more to focus on. This makes me sad:(
Ahhhh the negative comments 😡. I wonder why you are here… there are billions of UA-cam video. It’s ridiculous that this video title if obviously for people who are interested to lighten their skin tone. That’s her skin, her choice!
I am not interested in lightening my skin (and not judging you at all) but this product can be very good for scarring that darkens skin. Thank you for sharing.
People need to stop the judgement. We all want to change something whether it's lightening/darkening our skin, hair, eyes, getting plastic surgery or botox. Who are we to judge what someone chooses to do with thier OWN body. If you wouldn't do it. Good for you. Then don't. But let people do what they want. It's thier choice. Just like changing something you don't like is yours.
I think you look beautiful no matter what tone you are. I keep repeating myself, Permanence is outstanding for skin lightening. I love their products. No what you purchase, it works! I have gotten into my groove system and am very content. If I may make a suggestion, I have added glycolic acid to my daily regimen and I have been blown away how impactful it is. Thank you for sharing your journey. I’ve followed you for a long while and used your recommended products but Permanence is all I will use.
Looks like she gets glutathione injections which is very expensive, about 2 thousand dollars each time u get it done, u have to keep getting injections to maintain the light skin through out the year, no cream will get u that many shades lighter, certain creams will only lighten blemishes and possibly make u a shade lighter unless u can get a cream that has a large percentage of hydroquinone , currently only 2% of hydroquinone is the legal amount u can buy at a store, glutathione injections is what sum celebrities use to achieve major skin lightening
We all are allowed to do what we want please leave her alone..skin whitening and plastic surgery or whatever you do to change or enhance your body is your business stop bashing her..we are so quick to judge
How light are you trying to go? I think you’ve gotten to a pretty tone (all your tones have been beautiful) but just asking lol you’re already very light! I’m an esthetician so I’m also questioning how this is actually affecting your melanin cells
It's interesting to see different beauty perceptions.. I am a white woman and have always been so jealous of dark skin I have always felt black women are the most beautiful but I guess this is kind of on the same level as a white woman using fake tan to darken their skin.. each to there own If this makes you happy you are stunning either way but I can't help feeling sad for you losing your perfect dark skin.. either way you are beautiful though so whatever makes you happy 😊
As a black and Asian mixed woman who's also extremely light/yellow skinned I always find it so bizarre and sad when I see WOC bleach their skin. Brown skin is so beautiful and smooth and I hate the fact that lots of black and brown girls aren't taught to love themselves from the get-go. I feel like this is a desperate attempt to be accepted and attract white folks and other colorists. I pray you and women like you are able to defeat your insecurites, inner demons and inferior complex some day.
No disrespect but I’m curious as to why someone would want to change their complexion. I looked at your older vids and you had beautiful skin. I know some people wanna be tan and that’s just temporary, but to change yourself permanently seems scary. I understand under arms etc places that can be troublesome to some ppl. Just curious that’s all.
Lmfao the people hating on her so hard. It's HER body. Some women's features look AMAZING in black as night skin tones, but judging by the thumbnail picture I think she looks way better on the left. It suits her more. She doesn't deserve the hate and the people hating on her are racist and mad because they think she's trying to be white lol. Skin tone isn't everything and when y'all realize that racism will stop.
People can lie so much in the comments. Skin lightening is bad and you may not see the consequences now but it will come. Look how your brown skin is trying to come out I can still see it. So sad you did this to yourself, I can only pray for people like this.
Megan Good was prob using this same stuff and I doubt anybody asked if she was mixed especially when she rocking contacts, sad and know she's gonna revert back, it never stays that color long got a friend who did the same and literally moved to Seattle because living in Texas and Arizona makes her skin darker
I personally don’t believe in skin lightening. I have always had this chocolate complexion and will always keep it but that doesn’t give me the right to criticize or claim that she hates herself. I was probably raised differently and so that may be why I’m content with myself. Everyone has a back story and we cannot judge someone whom we know nothing about. All we know is that she lightens her skin. So should we say say that black women hate themselves when they wear these horrible wigs? Or when we make our hair platinum blonde? Let her find her way. As long as she’s happy and healthy then I’m not judging.
They are all sold out! 😩 is there anything else u can suggest I use that would actually work for hyperpigmentation cuz I’ve tried retinols, vitamin c, lemon, scrubs, peels that shit don’t work maybe on other ppl skin but my hyperpigmentation doesn’t budge!!
Sad to say, I know many people who use skin lightening. With that said your results look like that iv method of skin lightening. I have never seen someone with their entire body change that drastically from ANY topical. Don't mislead people that suffer from esteem issues about their complexion. Which one do you think is good for going lighter (face) but not pale? I'd like to still keep my warm skin tone, just one or two shades lighter bc im badly tanned and it wont go away. Hyperpigmentation too. Thanks for sharing! Also do you think its safer to use during the winter time instead of summer?

I love my over all skin color. I have an issue with an area of my face that is dark and seems to be getting darker. I'm not going to lie, you still look beautiful even with the much lighter complexion but your ds was so lovely.
Don't over lighten, or you will look unnatural. You don't want to look like those black women (crazy) on those African soap operas

@Asante Beauty pls what are the name of this creams
I use fake tanner to darken my skin I don’t see the difference🤷♀️ as long as it’s safe where is the problem?
how long does it last before I have to use it again? or can I just lighten my skin tone to a certain point, and then stop using it?
