I made a Celebrate Life album for my mom's 80th birthday. It was very special but became even more dear to me when she was 92 , living in a nursing home, paralyzed on one side from a stroke 3 years before. I visited every day. We spent several days, re-reading all the notes and letters, just a couple per day. We both needed to be reminded how much she was loved and appreciated by so many people. Her long life had made an impact in many lives. I have started to save notes of thanks I receive from people in my life, compiling my own book, in case one day my family needs to remind me that I made a difference.
WOW! These are all such beautiful albums. What a good daughter, mom and wife you are to keep all of these beautiful memories. I can't wait to see the album about you. You are so inspiring! 😘
Thank you for these ideas. I was looking for ideas to create books for our daughters (now grown) and to create scrapbooks that are unique. I also love to do mixed media. Your ideas will work with the vision for what I'm looking for. Thank you for sharing!
I started scrapbooking in the early 1990s. Part of my motivation was finding a beautiful photo of a woman in black and white with the Statue of Liberty in the background. What was disappointing and frustrating was turning the photo over and all it said was "Me. 1943" Part of my motivation is to try to create memories that my grandchildren could look at and understand who was who and how they were related. I am hopelessly behind but every time I look at old photo albums I am always grateful that sometimes there are people who can narrate who is who. It is like listening to history. I have always thought of creating an index in the back of my albums listing who is who. You have beautiful albums!

Right now they only have the happy planner which is about the same size as the birthday books I showed and the 8x8 pages... the covers are available throughout the year on “campaigns” I will find out when the next ones will be available... You can also find quite a supply on eBay 😉
Hi Kimberly, most of those covers were done years ago by someone who had a hot foil engraver. The good news is creative memories is now doing personalization, you can check it out on my website!

I did a CM 8.5x11 album dedicated to my dog after she passed, and a CM 8x8 album dedicated to my cat after he passed
