Therefore, I think Light does have a moral compass - but it's a deeply warped one. I think he's meant to be a dark take on the classic anime 'Mr. Perfect' character archetype. *Everyone* fawns over him, and that attention is based on his academic achievements, athletic ability and good looks - things that make him desirable as a trophy, basically. He's quite possibly never experienced failure before the start of the show. In the show itself, we see evidence that he's an extreme perfectionist with a huge amount of pride - and of course he is, because he's never had an experience that didn't make other people proud of him (wow, double negatives). So he projects the alienation from other people that he feels inside (that speech about nobody *really* believing you shouldn't kill criminals) onto everyone else. Because he's perfect, right? Because everyone tells him he is. So if HE feels it, everyone must. That plus a self-worth entirely based on being perfect to other people, and a track record of living up perfectly to those expectations = why should he in any way doubt that he is literally the single best person in the world? I think he'd probably be diagnosed with some sort of Cluster B disorder, to be honest, but being a fictional character it's hard to say (obviously nobody could be a Light IRL - because magic death notebooks don't exist).

Kinda like Akashi from kuroko basketball, he was like god among man, perfect and never loss in anything and had overall full authority over everyone, you do what he tells you and he do not like defiance because he is “never wrong because he has never loss”. Which he would tell you to lower your head, because he is your king. But he works harder than most people to perfect everything he does, and he doesn’t disrespect who doesn’t give up and tries their best but doesn’t like who falls but never gets up. He is more respectable than Light but similar, even though light is more scarier and relatable to most people.
honestly i feel like he totally could’ve gotten away at the end. Like how did the guy manage to write like endless names in an endless books overnight??
Probably a foreshadowing. In a couple of ways actually. 1) Light "sacrificed" his dad in order to take a win. The death of Mello woulda been his victory. Near sacrificed Mello BUT managed to obtain a victory from that. 2) It tells us that Light shouldn't depend on other people because they aren't reliable. Basically what happened with Teru Mikami.
@@alejandroserrano7755 True. But Light didnt really sacrificed his father though. If anything he's trying to keep him from dying. He didnt ask his dad to take the eye deal. He wanted Matsuda to do so. It was his father who insisted to take the deal because of his guilt and Light knew that there's nothing he can do to change his fathers mind. It's pretty obvious that he cares for his father a lot. He still does. If he was ready to sacrifice his father for his goals, he would've killed the entire task force as soon as L is dead, it was the perfect time to do so, and he would've won if he did but, he didnt because of his father. Even when Sayu is kidnapped all he asked for was for them to return safely. Not once during the kidnapping did he prioritise the Death Note over his families' life.
@@loulacson5615 well said, I think his father dying was the turning point of light (one of many) but he no longer had that anchoring him down and it definitely affected him. Wouldn't be right to say he didn't care
@@loulacson5615 he thought of killing sayu though. i think he cared for them, but to an extent. if he wasn't in complete control then it didn't count idk
Honestly, in my opinion, Light felt actual sadness when his dad died, and in my opinion, The chief was not the only one to die that day. That was also the moment when Light died and Kira truly took over
If we’re treating “Light” and “Kira” as two separate entities, I definitely feel that “Kira” took over in episode number one. Of course, he lost his memories during a few episodes in the middle, but with the memories back, he is right back to being “Kira”. I find it very difficult to believe he felt any sadness towards his father’s death. The main reason for that is when his father was in the process of dying, *all* that was in Light’s mind at that moment was how he could make it seem like he felt upset to everyone present in the room, solely for the reason of trying to achieve what HE wanted-to kill Mello. He cried and shouted afterward to stick to his lie. At this point in the series, it had been YEARS since he first picked up the Death Note, and so had become very, very good at acting in character.
I'd have to disagree. The fact that he was so pushy over trying to get his dad to kill Mello even in his final moments is evidence that he just wants to squeeze the last of the juice from the fruit. As in use his dad until his death.
"Every villain is the hero of their own story"- i never thought this quote to be true until now. like villains in so many anime had good intentions but went about them the wrong way
The ending was pretty ironic. The whole show you see Light as he sees himself, a opportunistic planner. The whole series you feel conflicted, you want him to win but you know it'd be horrible if he does. When he dies you see him for what he truly is: a twisted, depraved, deceitful and childish murderer. He believes he's right partly because he doesn't value anyone else enough to consider them.
@@SirLantzXD First thought would be he'd only kill criminals, but that's where he starts and it's further than that. He'd have to be without the whole narcissistic mindset from the beginning and see others as equals, in which case he'd probably be more like Tanaka and never actually use it.
Fact is no matter what you think crime happens no matter what, you can say it’s because of poverty or because of racism however light is shown to kill war mongers grapeist homocidal maniacs, and the fear of that struck fear into criminals and brought down crime, id much rather live in a world with no murder and grape than have some liberal “justice”
Light's emotional control is on a whole nother level. He could stay calm, outwardly, through basically everything. The fact he didn't punch Misa is a testament to that.
in the beginning of the series, when I first watched 5 years ago, I was rooting for light and I wanted him to win. But in the end, in his downfall you realize light is just a crazy guy and that no one can play God
the whole series i really rooted for light :’) like i get he was bad but inside i felt bad every time he lost and it felt satisfying every time he won.
I kind of rooted for him up until he kills Naomi. After that I was rooting for L I simply can't stand Light's unhinged smirks and it happens more and more often as the story progresses. He loses me because of that.
@@superpal4954 The narcissist in extreme cases can also be a serial killer and cruel tyrant. Adolf Hilter was a narcissistic tyrant who killed thousands of people. Light Yagami has only psychopathic and sociopathic traits. He is a narcissist with paranoid personality disorder and sadistic disorder. But not a psychopath and a sociopath! I see him as a sadistic paranoid narcissist. The narcissist can also be a cruel killer just like the sociopath / psychopath. There are narcissists who have other mental and personality disorders as well. One disease can generate another disease as well.
If you divide Soichiro Yagami's death scene into 3 parts, I would say, in he first part, *Light was worried and sad about his father* . In the middle part (when he started thinking to make his father write Mello's name in DN), he was completely worried about losing the chance to kill Mello. The third part was a mix of both, first and second.
A lot of people make this mistake, when you watch the dad in the hospital scene, Light seems to be crying over his dad. How could he not? He is crying real tears. They are wrong. He isn't crying over his father passing, tears of FRUSTRATION are slipping out because he didn't get the name he wanted that his dad could see with his shinigami eyes. He is crying because he didn't get what he wanted, the name. Light saw his dad as a pawn. Nothing more, nothing less. This is further proven in the ending episode. Light distance's himself from his father by calling his dad by his real name instead of saying "my father" "You mean N. Yagami? (I forgot his dad's real name so I just put N.) That fool!" He calls his father a fool and stupid for being a kind and caring person. Matsuda then gets angered by this, like "He was your father?!"

I am actually quite infuriated with this video. Jon Ronson (The writer of the test used here) has no pyschological training, and some of his "conditions" were suspect to say the least. This is one of the biggest faults of self-help and most "testing" sorts of books out there, the author has no actual credentials in order to make this . "Ronson is not legally or professionally entitled to have or use these scoring criteria, and his tactic of pulling up one- or two-item titles to label someone is sharply at odds with the appropriate use of the instrument. " psychopathysociety.org/page/RonsonCommentary The page also has several other criticisms of not only Jon himself, but the practices he uses, and the practice that the person in this video is using. Namely - the idea that someone, especially someone with no professional or comprehensive education in psychology or more specifically psychopathy, could diagnose someone with psychopathy. This is untrue and a dangerous misconception, the fact that this is a fictional character being talked about does not excuse the maker of this video "SirLantz", in fact, because of the "Slippery Slope" or how one idea can quickly spiral into another, SirLantz should take this especially to heart. You have no credentials to be making this assessment, and you should stop.

@@SirLantzXD mmhm... forgive me if I don't quite buy that. The problem with these sorts of videos is that it makes other people think that they are somehow qualified to do this based on the book. Jon has no power in this regard, in fact, as a psychology major, the entire concept of a "psychopath test" is suspect. It is famously taught that these sorts of test can be notoriously inaccurate even whenever the test giver is a licenced professional. Basically, it comes down to a lot of factors, that used to be widely misconstrued. Hare's test was a step in the right direction, but Jon himself is guilty of the exact things that made psychopathy so difficult to pin down for real. My point here is that this kind of information is dangerous to spread, as it is misinformation, and the type of misinformation, that is psychological misinformation, is particularly bad. This isn't just a "criticism" this is me saying, what you are doing is misleading and dangerous at a bottom line. There should either be; A) A disclaimer that you are not a professional and that you're "'conclusion" is no way based on verified information, or B) Actual psychologists and other informers that you can draw your information from, or even you're own education in psychology. I have been a DN fan since the anime dropped and I remember back in the day Light simps were defending his character blindly and made every excuse possible for his deeds. A lot of people really missed the intricacies of his character and the complex moral themes. Although the fandom was overall cool and not toxic , also very creative with fanfics, fanarts, even fan games. Glad to see more complex reviews are coming out recently. Also I love how DN is still a story people talk about after such a long time.
Some shows are just built to last, and Death Note is one such show. I’m a younger anime fan (I was 5-6 when the show aired) and I love the hell out of it, and those younger than me will surely love it too.
Yeah. I'm a fan of Light but it just freaks me out when people makes excuses for his actions😕. People just romantizise everything thy see. Same with those kind of L stans too. They romantizise EVERYTHING. Especially when they ship Lawlight. It's really toxic and possibly even abusive. I mean it's okay to ship it but sometimes it just goes to far.
What’s weird is that Light would go and commit all these illegal crimes, not letting anything stand in his way of achieving his goals, yet, when he loses his memory of the death note and all he has done, he even refuses twice to have a gun on him stating that it’s “against Japanese law to posses a firearm”
During Yotsuba arc when he lost his memories he said that he and Kira had the same ideals and then said that he wouldn't kill someone to change the world. Also he said that he wouldn't manipulate someones feelings for personal gain and that it was unforgivable even though when he was kira he is shown doing that multiple times to Misa and others.
Also when he lost his memories, Light admitted to L that if he were Kira, he would have done exactly what transpired: Wipe his own memories clean to throw the suspicion off of himself.
Some people find meaning and importance in making videos on social media, which is interesting especially from a psychological perspective. Thank you for your contribution!
Your video is really good, and the more I think about it, the more I agree, but 3 ideas to consider: 1. Light can be a narcissist. "God of the new world" that's also a dark triad diagnostic, in which callousness and a grandiose view of himself are also part of the diagnose. or maybe 2. Light is not a psychopath, Light is dehumanizing the criminals, dehumanizing allows neurotypical humans to kill, and even enjoy doing horrors to other people. I would recommend Nick Haslam's theory of dehumanization as a starting point to read about that if you are interested. 3. His self control points to the other diagnose that is part of the dark triad, Machiavellianism.... also consider the utilitarian use of sex and the long term goal.
The last few minutes kind of make me want to get an alternative universe of Death Note where Light maybe gets shocked by the effects of the Death Note and decides to be a strong detective without the powers, in which case there could be room for another Kira
Yeah. You can be perfectly sane and still commit henious crimes with the right circumstances. Kinda bugs me when people automaticaly think that people have a mental disorder just because they've commited henious crimes.
If we think about it Light is like all of us honestly we all have crazy thoughts he jus acts on them. Great video man good to know people still care about this show

It's interesting you mentioned Breaking Bad, because I think Walter and Light are more simillar than you might think. I think they are both psychopaths and extremily narcisistic. Just like Light, we don't have any details about about Walter childhood, but it's pretty clear to me that they both always have been like that, since day one, but life change circunstances brought up what was deep buried inside their minds. When Light lost his memory, he the thought that Kira's ideology is dangerously similar to his, but try to shut the idea down. If he never came across the DN, he probably woudn't became a serial kiler, but chances are he would go the same road as Mikami.
When I watched Death Note, I realized how much I related to Misa. Kind of silly, but really helpful in understanding how unhealthy the men I go for and the way I act can be.
Hell, I'd give Light a 3 in the "callous and cruel" department. He takes joy in rubbing his victories in his victims' faces, such as Naomi and L. He made sure that the last thing L ever saw were his eyes full of malice and triumph.
Honeslty, once Light was told that he wasnt "chosen" and just found teh Death Note by acident, only to still act as if he could become a God of the New World... by that point I knew he was going down a Dark Path and for every Death he caused to civilians, law agents or just people who would have no reason to harm him, it just hammered down how far gone he was. He went mad with Power and during his Memory Loss, we still see signs that if he didnt get the Death Note, he would be tempted to use it and considers how he would use it. It honeslty makes me wonder how the Story would go if Light joined his Father in the Kira Search team after he graduated, with a Kira who only kills Criminals and is carefull about not getting caught or harming Law agents or Civilians.
11:01 you left out something SUPER important. He actively mocked her and made SURE she knew how she'd fucked up. Light always REVELS in his victory and the destruction of others.

It was honestly depressing watching him manipulate Rem so shamelessly just before L died which was even sadder in itself considering L, despite having been raised to be a fairly jaded and calculated individual who himself might show traits of sociopathy/high functioning aspergers, has finally found a friend in Light that he could relate to on an intellectual basis. Also, I think the point of depicting Light's reaction in such a manner when his dad died was a way of brutally emphasizing how difficult it is to believe his outwardly apparent emotions, because afterwards he barely brings up his father's death in any meaningful fashion that would depict grief or despair as one otherwise would with such an apparently close and loving family. It was almost like the author wanted to wave in our face the ridiculous notion that Light could actually feel remorse for those closest to him. I believe he may have been capable of it before getting the notebook which almost certainly brought out already existing psychopathic tendencies by acting as a mediator for them because of the way he behaved when he lost his memory of the book. But ultimately, he had an immature notion of justice and human nature as a whole and I feel like Near and the final scenes in the show illustrated just how pathetic of a human he became as a result, being anything but graceful in defeat only to finally realize all the things he will ultimately lose in his last moments of life. Even then though as he's flailing like a fish out of water, even with all the regret he's feeling, it's hard to say he in fact felt any remorse. He definitely didn't ever seem to see the irony in his behavior and he definitely didn't see it as significant. He thought the world could be fixed by getting rid of all of the bad guys when it is human nature to, given certain circumstances people are often born into, fall into the trap of criminality which is why we have a justice system that does offer people the opportunity to be rehabilitated. Whether you agree with the fashion in which justice systems around the world operate is a different question, but stifling out lives for petty crimes is obviously not the way to improve on a system with a purpose to rehabilitate and retain lives. Idk why I even gotta mention that lol, although there are some real people/crazies out there (fortunately not many) that sympathize with Light's philosophy whether they have watched the show or not... You could talk about this show for days down to extremely minute nuances. I've even seen a video about the significance of the potato chip scene lol. It's honestly a testament to it's legendary status as one of the most popular mentally stimulating anime series. I loved this video and thought it was a well thought out analysis on Light's psyche. I only recently watched this show having heard friends call it over hyped years ago and its probably much more interesting to watch it now that I've matured a fair bit (considering I first heard of it almost a decade ago when I was about 13). I was never very disciplined in following many series back then, including anime series, because I never really cared much for them and the pandemic offered me an opportunity for a personal Renaissance with various shows and games that didn't immediately interest me at the time. I'm wondering how many more people read this exhausting block of text and experienced the same thing lol
this character is so interesting (and the movie was terrible; I saw it first, which I thought was good, lo, I was horribly wrong), and I really admire how intelligent he seems, and how well he can get to his goal. your analysis was super cool and interesting to see
In all honesty when Light exploded at Matsuda for shooting him I felt that he was desperately trying to cling to the last shred of control he had left because Light always felt like he was in control because in a way he was which plays a key role in serial killer behavior
My mom sat down and watched Death Note shortly before she passed away and I asked her if she would use it. Her response: "Yes. Hell I'm terminal what the fuck do I care?" Me: The hell? No, yeah I totally see it. I still cherish that memory lol
The biggest question seems to be if the death note corrupted light, and radically intensified his thoughts on eliminating criminals to achieve "peace." But I am a big fan of Absolute power doesn't corrupt absolutely contrarily absolute power reveals absolutely. Meaning if he gained the power and started killing then he was always the same person just too weak to act on those feelings
Now here me out here, I don't really think light was a "bad" guy he just had a warped sense of justice. In my opinion, you're really only bad when you know what you're doing is bad. Light genuinely thought he was helping/fixing the world.
A very well structured video, very good job! I’m pretty new to anime, very late on the Death Note craze, but I absolutely loved it and I’m glad people are still talking about it. Thank you for an amazing analysis to fill the hole that’s left now that I finished it 😂
Psychopaths can still find enjoyment in things and they can definantly get angry. I would have given Light a 2 on the shallow effection part as psychopaths strongly feel emotions such as disgust, anger and excitment in things they enjoy.
i first saw death note around when it first came out and i still think about it quite often to this day & rewatch it from time to time, and i love seeing analysis on the characters, especially light, as there’s so many ways to truly look at his character development & try to deduce whether or not he could have real emotions outside of his ambitions, if he just had a warped sense of justice & was genuinely thinking of himself as some martyr, like he was somehow the one making sacrifices for the better of the world, or if he truly went mad with power, if the death note brought out what was already inside, or maybe a bit of all. wonderful work, love this video!!
In the last episode Kira said he knows the actual place of the death note is it true and then what they will do with the actual death note that they have with neer
What makes someone a killer? were they born as that or events happened to them made them do what they did. There's a Korean drama titled "Strangers From Hell" or "Hell Is Other People" i do recommend giving that a study and you may sees the answer to that.
Would be kind of nice for it to be mentioned that technically minors can’t be diagnosed with psychopathy and will instead be diagnosed with conduct disorders, in order to put them on the path towards positive coping and adjustment. It’s true that there are lots of early signs a child may grow up to be a psychopath but it can be prevented through treatment. This diagnostic criteria you’re using would be used for adults, and since light is a minor I feel like this should be kept in mind. Plus it’s important to reiterate that you can’t be 100% certain of a diagnosis unless you’re a qualified psychiatrist. I know this is just a theoretical analysis video of a fictional character but people tend to take things like this as fact and then go around claiming they know what makes a psychopath when it’s actually a very complicated thing to diagnose Aside from that though I do think this is a really interesting topic to discuss, especially when considering whether or not light’s idea at it’s core had any merit. There are some truly evil people on this planet, people who have real influence and could make real positive change but instead choose not to and hoard resources for themselves because they have the power to do so. And in the hands of someone with enough intellect and ability, the death note has the potential to be used to make positive change. But the thing is it would take years to accomplish, years of tiny movements towards the goal. Not just going after every serial killer you can think of the way light did. Because in the end most of them are already incarcerated anyway, at least if you know enough about them to kill them, and even if they’re not, although getting rid of mass killers would stop them from killing, in the grand scheme of things the difference would be kind of negligible. It wouldn’t change the corrupt system at it’s source. So rewatching death note all I keep thinking is whether or not, if light had maybe been older and less naive, less mentally undeveloped and emotional the way teenagers tend to be, would he have been able to accomplish the task he claimed he wanted to? Or was he just a serial killer wearing the mask of a top grade well behaved student, who deep down was always prone to murder and just needed the justification to get himself to do it?
Personally, I would say L by a significant amount. I’d say Light obviously had the superior social skills but L seemed to be superior in every other aspect.
I really enjoyed this analysis. I believe that Death Note was so psychological and at some points pretty religious to the point that it was haunting. I just realized, if Light’s Dad killed Mello when he should have, Light would have won.
Fucking duh
Wasn't his memory wiped when his dad died.
@@Frazier16 no lol
@@Frazier16 I think it was but he was holding on to a piece so his memory was intact
I'd have to disagree. The fact that he was so pushy over trying to get his dad to kill Mello even in his final moments is evidence that he just wants to squeeze the last of the juice from the fruit. As in use his dad until his death.

The third part was a mix of both, first and second.
i agree
A lot of people make this mistake, when you watch the dad in the hospital scene, Light seems to be crying over his dad. How could he not? He is crying real tears.
They are wrong. He isn't crying over his father passing, tears of FRUSTRATION are slipping out because he didn't get the name he wanted that his dad could see with his shinigami eyes.
He is crying because he didn't get what he wanted, the name.
Light saw his dad as a pawn. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is further proven in the ending episode.
Light distance's himself from his father by calling his dad by his real name instead of saying "my father"
"You mean N. Yagami? (I forgot his dad's real name so I just put N.)
That fool!"
He calls his father a fool and stupid for being a kind and caring person.
Matsuda then gets angered by this, like "He was your father?!"

holy shoot dude why isnt this more popular! i love analysis and especially psychology. love this video
aha hopefully one day bro! Thanks for watching :)
psychopathysociety.org/page/RonsonCommentary
The page also has several other criticisms of not only Jon himself, but the practices he uses, and the practice that the person in this video is using.
@@darkestlight660 hey dude! Thank you for watching my video!
I'd like to point out that this is for fun and by no means am I qualified psychiatrist (who knows maybe one day haha).
Everything I have used is from the book I have read and my judgements were based on my experience watching the show.
That being said, I appreciate your criticism and i will take it on board :)
The way you present the video says to me at least you intended for your information to be taken seriously.

24:37 actually Light did say that even if he didn’t get the chance to obtain the death note he’d still behave the same way
During Yotsuba arc when he lost his memories he said that he and Kira had the same ideals and then said that he wouldn't kill someone to change the world. Also he said that he wouldn't manipulate someones feelings for personal gain and that it was unforgivable even though when he was kira he is shown doing that multiple times to Misa and others.
When did he say that?

Your video is really good, and the more I think about it, the more I agree, but 3 ideas to consider:
1. Light can be a narcissist. "God of the new world" that's also a dark triad diagnostic, in which callousness and a grandiose view of himself are also part of the diagnose.
or maybe
2. Light is not a psychopath, Light is dehumanizing the criminals, dehumanizing allows neurotypical humans to kill, and even enjoy doing horrors to other people.
I would recommend Nick Haslam's theory of dehumanization as a starting point to read about that if you are interested.

Worth noting that psychopaths are commonly drawn to leadership and law enforcement roles.
Say, for instance, chief of Japan's police force.
Also Light had an outburst as soon as he got home after L first revealed himself. Even Ryuk exasperated that this wasn’t like him

Power doesn't corrupt, power reveals. The truest test of your character is what you do when given power.
I was never very disciplined in following many series back then, including anime series, because I never really cared much for them and the pandemic offered me an opportunity for a personal Renaissance with various shows and games that didn't immediately interest me at the time. i first saw death note around when it first came out and i still think about it quite often to this day & rewatch it from time to time, and i love seeing analysis on the characters, especially light, as there’s so many ways to truly look at his character development & try to deduce whether or not he could have real emotions outside of his ambitions, if he just had a warped sense of justice & was genuinely thinking of himself as some martyr, like he was somehow the one making sacrifices for the better of the world, or if he truly went mad with power, if the death note brought out what was already inside, or maybe a bit of all. wonderful work, love this video!!
Thank you very much for watching!!!
I might have to check my self at the doctor 😳😳😳
Hahahaha
the book cant prolongue life but a feature of using it to save a human as shinigami does.
15:44 false, one of the death note rules state that the death note can shorten or extend someone’s life, but I understand your point.
Not for humans
Twisted world needs someone as twisted to make it livable! Loved your analysis. Keep em coming bro❤
Thank you!!! I'm still in the game:)
I'm new here and your intro song fucking rules
Welcome to the channel!!! Thank you very much! I made it myself :)
That's an awesome video. When talking about death note you feel like there is always something hidden and thats very interesting. Subscribed btw.
Thanks for the sub!! That's what we do here on the channel, look for deeper meanings and see how we can learn lesson from them!
@@SirLantzXD no need to Thank me you put alot of work and you deserve better. And i love this channel.
In the last episode Kira said he knows the actual place of the death note is it true and then what they will do with the actual death note that they have with neer
Ironic that Light sees killing as such an easy solution to his problems. Yet every single kill, even his first few, make L suspect him more and more.
What makes someone a killer? were they born as that or events happened to them made them do what they did.
There's a Korean drama titled "Strangers From Hell" or "Hell Is Other People"
i do recommend giving that a study and you may sees the answer to that.
will do!
both
Sometimes I question if I'm a psychopath and the thought frightens me.
I know this is just a theoretical analysis video of a fictional character but people tend to take things like this as fact and then go around claiming they know what makes a psychopath when it’s actually a very complicated thing to diagnose
Aside from that though I do think this is a really interesting topic to discuss, especially when considering whether or not light’s idea at it’s core had any merit.
Psychopathy is actually from birth
Solid video and channel. I enjoy the how you use anime and mental health breakdowns in a respectful way. Good job. Subscribed!
thank you very much! Trying to put my psych degree to use haha
I want your opinion on this, who is smarter L or Light?
Give me your definition of smart
Personally, I would say L by a significant amount. I’d say Light obviously had the superior social skills but L seemed to be superior in every other aspect.
But in the end those social skills is what got him misa and also Rem which were the biggest players in causing Ls death
I really enjoyed this analysis. I believe that Death Note was so psychological and at some points pretty religious to the point that it was haunting. I liked how you broke down and explain your points too with different scenes and used specific words to get your point across. Nice job. I'm going to watch Death Note again. Also on my channel I analyze anime and shows too so watching this was really awesome.
Thank you for your kind comment, yes! I'll have a look at your videos :) Let me know if you want any advice etc
@@SirLantzXD advice would be much helpful! Any advice when it comes to analyzing anime?
@@SpillTheTee93 Have the idea in your mind for the point you want to make, then make connections with the show :)
pretty basic advice but v important
@@SirLantzXD Thank you so much. It's great advice. I'm a very small youtuber just starting out but my first video is an analysis on the show The Proud Family because it is on Disney+ and there is going to be a reboot coming soon. I also love anime too. My next video which I'm putting out between Sunday/Monday is going to be on the anime Michiko to Hatchin (or it's other name Finding Paradiso). I'm so excited and happy to generally start my channel and you have a new subscriber. I would love to see more of your content. In my opinion, you set a good example of many ways to analyze a show.
Can light beat goku doe 😂
Depends if Light can distract him long enough by writing his name. My man died from a heart virus so I reckon the death note would wipe him out
"fuck" -Adam
Listening to the dub version of the anime is makinge a psychopath
Shut up and deal with it.
I really enjoyed this video! Good job!
Thank you for watching :) Appriciate it
