Hi Kelly, as always, it really varies for each student. If a student already has a good musical ear (ie they can differentiate between the pitches well), it is certainly simpler for them to adjust their fingers to the correct pitch. But the physical component is also very impactful. Some adults, for example, may be stiffer than others and find it physically more challenging to place the fingers in the various patterns. i like your instructions but as a beginner, im dont understand what you are doing with the third finger on harmonic. Im also trying to find an app that can help me hit all notes in tune and just the open strings. do you know any apps to help me. thanks

@@fiakyono yes that harmonic may be tricky if you’ve just started out. Keep studying and practicing, though! I like an app called insTuner. 🙂
