Dude, thank you for making this. I've seen so many tech review channels comparing its camera to other brands by using it like a point and shoot cam. Who buys a dslr so they can use its auto setting? It's good to see someone taking advantage of its features and treating it with more respect.
People keep in mind this phone is made for people who know their way around a camera, not just an average phone user
Yeah, it's what's keeping me from getting one, despite really wanting the headphone jack and SD card slot. That and I would miss my S Pen.

@@WaffleusRex personally I prefer this but I wish there was probably an area where you can have preset camera adjustments so you don't spend too much time adjusting the camera.
Also not just that but Sony makes it clear the back camera should be used for everything, including selfies since the front is so bad...but they need to make it easier for their users. Smartphone companies like Samsung are adding little screens next to the back camera so you can see yourself, I think Sony should try it too in my opinion

with these killer specs on a phone, I am now seriously considering Xperia phones again after so many years.
Far out these phones are getting to the stage that in the right hands they look as good as an actual video camera. I was blown away by the depth and dynamic range of those interior garden shots

the pro-i and the 1iv has some unique features that makes it really hard to choose between the two now that the price is the same. they've really made it hard to choose now between the two.

Nice review! Maybe you should try interior photography with hdr and without? 16 and 24 are perfect combo espeically if HDR will be suitable. In that case would be nice tool for real estate agents as for photo so for video))

hi is there a any custom keys for camera settings like in the alpha camera? so the settings can be saved rather than having to manually control them each time you open the app?

I just sent mine back not sure if it was a issues with mine did you find the telephoto photos soft.
Shooting with the telephoto the photos looked extremely soft and looked like they was blurry like I shot them out of focus.

Did Sony ever update being able to shoot in RAW while in BURST mode? I have Xperia 5ii it only lets you shoot jpeg while in BURST mode....

According to the website you have here, if I order for this device I have to wait for three and half months before it is shipped, September 1, seriously? Everyone else deliver their devices two weeks after launch and even three weeks is acceptable but three months and half for a pre order?
Would you recommend this over the Pro I ? Im doing my month long research on the perfect mobile device thats not iPhone and im leaning towards Sony because all of the other products i have from them. I am a photographer as well so this is an upgrade for me as well.
I'm contemplating the pro because of its sensor size
i own the Xperia Pro i and I never want to miss the quality of the 24mm lens . it's simply perfect. I would only upgrade the Pro series. never go back to the " normal " series

@@flightpathproductions5579 the Xperia Pro i is getting cheaper here in Europe ....i bought mine for 1150 Euro which was nearly the price for a Xperia 1 iii. So I had luck. I don't think I would have bought it for the retail price which was nearly 1800 Euro. But the price for used ones is getting cheaper , because the people don't know how to use it , so they sell it after a while. Let's see if they upgrade the Pro series. I hope so :-)
