Its SUCH a breath of fresh air to a see a rich guy who is grounded and humble and deserves and appreciates everything he has. Its sad for me to say this but I haven't seen a guy like that in literally years now....... Seriously
What only an F40 gives to people like me was born in the same year of this jewel is to have every time you see the feeling that it is a giant model to move and not a "simple" self-driving. In the early 90s in Italy, but I believe all over the world, the model of the sports car or the sports car poster was always a very red F40. Thanks Enzo for making the car with the little horse famous in the world :)
This guy deserves to own this car. Every single fibre of it. He uses the car, as it was inteded to. And he worked hard to get that car. This guy makes me proud to be a car guy.
Great story. Loved the part about how his mother was so supportive. My mother was like that and even today, long after she’s past away, her support for my ideas and passions keeps me inspired. My love for cars started with my mum buying a Mercedes 190 Cosworth back in the 80s. What a car, what a woman.
Thanks Jas, she was a great lady. First week she had it we went for a 1000km drive (just her and me) to the South of France (I live in the UK). We got so much love in that car. Still wish I had it. She was also a great driver, dare I say it but put my dad to shame behind the wheel.
I just want to take a min to say how much I appreciate this man and his love for his F40. I had the opportunity to photo this car at Concourse last year and while being my favorite Ferrari, I had to step back from the camera to watch my son (9) who was experiencing his first F40 encounter and the joy I got watching him look over every inch of that car in true petrol head fashion brought on that Dad and son moment where just the looks and smiles given and not a word spoken while looking it over. That was me and my Dad when I was my sons age and that bond still is tighter than ever and that’s exactly what I share with my son now. So I just want to say thank you for bringing that F40 to Florida because you made my sons day and I definitely appreciated looking at a childhood hero car as well but the bonding with my son over a shared passion is why I wanted to say thank you to the gentleman who brought this car out to enjoy and let others enjoy it too and not just collect dust in a garage. 🍻 I hope this finds its way back to the owner of the F40. Be safe everyone and God bless!
I love it! No dramatic camera work. No pointlessly typical and utterly lame music tracks. Just a dude like you or me who enjoys sharing his passion and respect (and luck) for a very special piece of automotive art.
Look at the smiling faces of your beautiful children. Look at the respect you showed and still show your parents. You are worthy of this special car and worthy of all your success and happiness in life.
My pleasure. Since you read and responded, I'll risk saying more. In fact, your story about your mother hit me very personally. I just lost my own mother to cancer on November 25th, not yet 1 month ago. The respectful and heartfelt way you spoke about your mother, and shared the circumstances of her passing those many years ago, was very meaningful. Very kind of you to share such a personal story with us all on UA-cam. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family. @@jasdhillon6761

Something tells me this man would rather earn them than have anything "given" to him. But I do agree that there needs to be more videos of the good Dr. and his cars.
He has a decent collection of supercars from the 90s and early 00s. Look the garage scene near the end you can see his Carrera GT and Jaguar XJR-15 beside the F40.
That car on those roads... Heaven. And what a wonderful man. I’d love to enjoy a coffee with him and talk cars. Such passion and his outlook on cars is what it’s all about
Easily one of the best videos from Petrolicious and all of automotive UA-cam. Captures the passion of a true enthusiast and not a single narration but from the owner. Phenomenal.
Stellar video for a stellar car. The way Jas tells his story is absolutely enthralling. He is so emotionally descriptive and passionate, he makes you feel like you are truly experiencing the car with him and he touches your heart along the way. I'm sure this guy could tell a personal story or two about the American dream, a Tennesseean sikh with an f-40......and he is using it properly. awesome ! blasting through the scenic Tennessee fall landscapes on pristine roads, poetic .
What a great video. MR. Dhillon taught me more about the F40 than I knew before this video. Knowledge, enthusiasm and love not just for the car but the family. I can watch this video over and over again. He should make more videos. I really enjoyed this
I am so glad I took a look at this F40! Well done to your mum and you too! It is nice to see family enjoying your car, it is lovely to watch your kids enjoying that car too! Thank you for making my evening!!
Great video Jas, beautiful F40, you're a true enthusiast that deserves to own one of these legends. I too lost my mother in October, she was a huge autosports fan and lover of sports cars, my first car was a 93 RX7 thanks to her when I graduated high school. She drove it around Calgary when she was 60 years old, got lots of funny looks, lots of waves and smiles, seeing an "old lady" driving what was back then a very fast car.
One the best produced car videos ive ever seen, this felt like a tv documentary, the guy was so well spoken and passionate, the car absolutely stunning, this is ever f40 lovers dream. This is the car that gets you into cars forever, the starting point point for alot of car enthusiasts
This was your best production yet, the story of a wonderful family, the video shot in the beautiful scenery of the American south, and of course the sounds and sights of a beautiful, iconic car.
Now that I’m nearly fifty years old, I still have yet to see an authentic F40. It’s on my bucket list. I had tears in my eyes the entire video. Thank you for sharing your treasure with us. Stay strong, Boston
This gentlemen brought this car to cars and coffee in Nashville a few times. The video doesn’t do him justice. Such a kind, humble man. Thoroughly admired my M3 I had at the time, which obviously pales in comparison to his F40. But still, such a gentleman and a true enthusiast.
I got something in my eye watching this, great video, great scenery to drive a car in, great guy. Saw this guy on Jay Lenos garage with a jaguar, seems all the cars he owns are analog drivers cars.
The best thing about this video is not this car. To me it is the amount of knowledge this man has about this car. It seemed like he was taking the audience through the entire design process of this vehicle. True Petrol head without any of the loudness that we see now a days. Refined and knowledgeable.
Great film. This guy oozes passion for the car. The spirit of the sports car experience is alive in his soul... and I think that's why many of us are connecting with him... because it's alive in ours too.
I keep on coming back to this video again and again - I'd highly recommend wearing a good pair of headphones to appreciate the story telling AND production quality of this video I mean the clanking sound of the gated shifter @1:28 followed by the muted sound of the car revving from the inside and then finally culminating into the roar of the F40 whilst it charges at you in the video *chefs kiss*
JasDhillon67 Mr. Dhillon, in case you haven’t seen it yet here is a subtitled(must be activated)interview of Materazzi in which he goes into detail on the birth of the F40 in which he also explains how the body too was essentially created by him and his staff and not by Pininfarina(whose proposal for the GTO Evoluzione had an awful CX...Materazzi’s words):they(Pinifarina) then changed minor things from the GTO Evoluzione for the F40.Cheers m.ua-cam.com/video/AlX-kgJuzxU/v-deo.html

Brilliant. I honesty wish more people like this man and his family owned these types of cars. They are not for profit and to be hid in garages. They should be used to bring happiness, and be driven!
I cannot find a better way to use a F40 that with your family, and see that this guy is sharing his passion with his kids, not only warms my heart, but also passes his legacy. I'm sure his kids will remember this car and their trips with the F40 way after his death, I cannot think a better way to be remembered by your loved ones than this.

Such technical knowledge is rarely matched with such poetry: the sound of that engine "like a cobra hissing behind you." That is a wonderfully spine-tingling way to describe it (and a phrase I am going to have to steal...).
Probably the best video of a Ferrari I have ever seen. Of course to have an F40 you have to be very wealthy and in his garage he has a Carrera GT.... Not many people in the world have one. The F40 is considered the best car of all times.

The best ever imo. Next episode, that Carrera GT peeking in the garage.
This guy deserves to own this car. Every single fibre of it. He uses the car, as it was inteded to. And he worked hard to get that car. This guy makes me proud to be a car guy.
The best petrolicious video to date. Now can you guys film Jasbir's Carrera GT?
Gajen Nad and the Aston Martin Lagonda, just for the sheer madness of the design!
This gentleman should have his own automotive TV show. He's a gifted storyteller and narrator.
Im bias to analog gauges
Agreed
I hate those displays in modern cars. Giant tablets on the dashboard. Give me some nice gauges.
Same
Great story. Loved the part about how his mother was so supportive. My mother was like that and even today, long after she’s past away, her support for my ideas and passions keeps me inspired. My love for cars started with my mum buying a Mercedes 190 Cosworth back in the 80s. What a car, what a woman.
Johnny Winstone Great parents stay with you forever 👍 Must have been a lady of great taste to drive a Cossie 190 👌
Thanks Jas, she was a great lady. First week she had it we went for a 1000km drive (just her and me) to the South of France (I live in the UK). We got so much love in that car. Still wish I had it. She was also a great driver, dare I say it but put my dad to shame behind the wheel.
Me: I learned to drive manual in a VW Bug
Owner's child: I learned to drive manual in an F40
:D
I learned to drive manual in a FIAT 500L 1971 ;)
One of the best Ferraris ever
Best!
You're wrong... this IS the best Ferrari.
I love it! No dramatic camera work. No pointlessly typical and utterly lame music tracks. Just a dude like you or me who enjoys sharing his passion and respect (and luck) for a very special piece of automotive art.
Cheers to you M. Dhillon. You explain the joy of car craftsmanship very well.
desert_jin Thank you ! Cheers to you and yours as well 👍
Look at the smiling faces of your beautiful children. Look at the respect you showed and still show your parents. You are worthy of this special car and worthy of all your success and happiness in life.
Brian Messemer Really kind of you Brian, wish you and yours all the very best in 2019 ! thank you
My pleasure.
Brian Messemer Very sorry to hear that Brian, may she rest in peace 🙏🏾 . Nothing I can say could possibly assuage your grief. I will say that good parents live with you forever, in their teachings and wisdom. I find that my mum and dad “talk” to me in many ways still, at times of decision and especially when kids throw your a curveball !! I hope over time you find this to be true. Have a wonderful Christmas with family and all the very best to you in 2019
Someone give this guy more cars so he can share them with us.
He already has quite an enviable collection, Cheers !!
Such passion and his outlook on cars is what it’s all about
Sir, you have a beautiful attitude toward life. Many blessings to you.
Easily one of the best videos from Petrolicious and all of automotive UA-cam. Captures the passion of a true enthusiast and not a single narration but from the owner.
Phenomenal.
And the coolest dad award goes to....JAS!
Stellar video for a stellar car. The way Jas tells his story is absolutely enthralling. He is so emotionally descriptive and passionate, he makes you feel like you are truly experiencing the car with him and he touches your heart along the way. Definitely a quality human being and a REAL car guy. Thanks for continuing to stoke my love for the special F40!
His talking is perfect for meditation.
This is the car that gets you into cars forever, the starting point point for alot of car enthusiasts
true automotive enthusiast...speaks with so much passion and love !
I'm not crying. You're crying.
Thanks, now I remember where I saw this guy...the Jag!
This is fabulous. Someone who clearly loves the car and every intricate detail of it.
"What's your daily drive?"
How to go from zero to hero in one sentence:
"A 1989..." (wait for recipient sigh) "Ferrari F40."
Bam!
The best thing about this video is not this car. To me it is the amount of knowledge this man has about this car. It seemed like he was taking the audience through the entire design process of this vehicle. True Petrol head without any of the loudness that we see now a days. Refined and knowledgeable.
How to drive a F40 properly and also the engine is such an eargasm
Beautifully done. What a wonderfully humble, family focussed, passionate gentleman. A proper human being.
Daily driving a Ferrari F40 and sharing the experience with your loved ones and petrolheads alike. Life doesn't get much better than that.
Great film. This guy oozes passion for the car. The spirit of the sports car experience is alive in his soul... and I think that's why many of us are connecting with him... because it's alive in ours too.
Good narration, beautiful footage and a truly great story. 🙇🏻
I keep on coming back to this video again and again - I'd highly recommend wearing a good pair of headphones to appreciate the story telling AND production quality of this video
I mean the clanking sound of the gated shifter @1:28 followed by the muted sound of the car revving from the inside and then finally culminating into the roar of the F40 whilst it charges at you in the video *chefs kiss*
Mr Dhillion Sir thanks for sharing your passion and the interesting back story. Also to Petrolicious ...looking forward to more great content in 2019
kim jerreat Thanks Kim, glad you enjoyed it !
Watched and enjoyed a lot of the Petrolicious owner vlogs over the past couple of years, but this one is one of the best. The Owner is a true enthusiast and gentleman in equal measure......so refreshing in the upper level of exotic ownership. Thank you for sharing.
The sounds, the wonderful owner, really up there as one of my favourites
This guy knows and capture the essence of this car in a very personal, passionate way. Hats off for actually enjoying a masterpiece of a car.
Lucky man, luckier car. If anyone ever deserved owning an F40 it is absolutely this gentleman here
CIKEDEES I deserve it too because I am 7 year old fanboy so that means I deserve it because I have a picture of a Ferrari on my closet so yeah I deserve it
Brilliant. I honesty wish more people like this man and his family owned these types of cars. They are not for profit and to be hid in garages. They should be used to bring happiness, and be driven!
Those pictures of mom and dad were awesome. Dad was a great lookin guy.
Thanks for sharing this story Jasbir Veerae. Thanks also for representing our Sikh community and the car enthusiast community so well. You connect the two worlds beautifully in the notion of using cars as a platform for connecting with the Life Force in all people. Nanak Nam Chardi Kala!
Such technical knowledge is rarely matched with such poetry: the sound of that engine "like a cobra hissing behind you." That is a wonderfully spine-tingling way to describe it (and a phrase I am going to have to steal...).
Were is the "f*cking loved this video" button ?
A better question: Where is the "May this video BURN IN HELL!" button????
Probably the best video of a Ferrari I have ever seen.
Of course to have an F40 you have to be very wealthy and in his garage he has a Carrera GT.... Not many people in the world have one.
The F40 is considered the best car of all times.
Now THIS is a twin turbo Ferrari done right
I luv the sound of the exhaust note when he pushes on the throttle!
