I came here looking for where to join the Chorus. Instead I found one of Jindo's best work (and probably one of the best themes in the series up there with Azure Arbitrator and Atrocious Raid - SAV). Still looking for where to join the chorus though. preferably locally.
Similar to most of Jindo's grandiose orchestra pieces like this, I appreciate the sense of scale he creates and I'm sure it'll set the tone perfectly when I play the game. But definitely not one I'll keep coming back to on it's own
Uh oh... we might have a new contender for best track in the game...! In seriousness though, this is peak Jindo, and feels almost like a culmination of all of his final boss themes up until now. You can hear a bit of A Great Power, E.O.V, Celestial Coalescence, and Perfect Steel of ZERO here. Really great track overall.
@@Ghalion666 It's a slow piece that does take a while to get started, but it's also very dynamic and elaborate, alongside having a lot of interesting harmonies and doing a great job at creating a sense of scale. That being said I can see why you might not like it, as I wouldn't exactly call it a great piece for casual listening (moreso the kind of piece that best shines within context). Personally I'd put it above the aforementioned Sky FC, Sky the 3rd, and Zero final boss themes (though those are still pretty good), but otherwise I agree that The Merciless Savior, The Azure Arbitrator, and a Great Power are all probably overall better than this one.
This track grows on me the more I listen to it. It's got a feel to it that most other final boss tracks in the series don't have, It may not be as bombastic as some others but it's got a sense of grandeur while still being serene.
Going from this to the other final boss theme and then into the op (if this is anything like kuro 1) seems like a gigantic whiplash moment anyway, nice track. Doesn't hit nearly as hard as great power or perfect steel but it's a bit better than eov, at least out of context
I'd say it's all quite good even though it's just like Kuro 1. I was blown away and was just jamming and having a blast by the time the OP played. Sorry if you wouldn't feel the same when you play
I recently watched a video of the final boss and it's even more of a whiplash moment than I expected because final boss 2 comes right after solid state shard blow lol
3:45 UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HOW CAN YOU EVEN COMPOSE THIS, SO FUICKING RAWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
honestly I don't find this final boss as good even when great power eov and perfect steel of zero sounds like this. It seems even jindo cant really keep it up when there was 3 games in a row.
I mean it's not 3 games in a row though. Great Power and EOV were definitely in a row, butPerfect Steel of Zero was after 2 more games, and this is after another game. The problem I think is, for this ase is there's no motifs anymore. Great Power used Cold Steel 1's opening, EOV used Class VII's theeme. pefect Steel of Zero included part of "The Final Choice" but that IMO is the only thing that made them great, this is lacking any famliarity so...it doesn't work.
@@FretsonFireTracks my bad but you are right. I don't know about music comp, but this time the music doesn't have a nice harmony like the others songs mentioned.
I love Jindo orchestra stuff, i really do. Great Power is one of my favorite themes in the franchise, yet this track just sounds...lame, dunno why, it lacks "power" it lacks "sauce". Final Boss 2 even in all of it's faults, sounds better
It must just be your tastes dude. Especially in context, this shit got me more hype and had my soul ASCENDING compared to stuff like Great Power, even though I love that too. This shit was amazing.
I mean... it's okay, it's good even, but I really feel this is the weakest final boss theme from Jindo in a very long time, if not ever. It just doesn't grab me at all. Even something like Celestial Coalescence gets me more excited. In general Jindo's work on this soundtrack has been rather disappointing, even if that speaks more to the usual quality of his work than to these pieces being bad or anything.
E.O.V and this along with perfect steel of zero are some of my fav from Jindo
E. O. V. 2, especially the melody at 1:40

This is truly E.O.V 2
Used to not care that much about it but it grew a lot on me, Jindo is just too goated
3:45 is fucking incredible holy shit
I owe you an apology for this Final Boss jindo, I wasn't familiar with your game

Shuffle them all up and I guarantee 9/10 players couldn't tell which of them are which.
@@skroozscrungus6738 Probably, but I personally appreciate all of them.
how you dare to talk about those ost when you heard this ? This is not an opinion, this is a blasphemy.
Sounds pretty generic final boss music to me. Everything up to and including cold steel 1 was better IMO. Except maybe FC's.

if song has to grow then its terrible good songs are good first seconds
I won't comment on the song but...
What kind of Final Boss theme's name is "Where to Join the Chorus"?
It's not the actual name
@@seymourflux747 Think it is, actually. Taken from the credits of the game.
That theme reminds me of Somnus Lucis Caelum boss fight

HERE IS THE PLACE
WHERE WE JUST JOIN THE CHORUS IN VAIN
Is that the official name of the song? "Where to Join the Chorus" sounds like a name of a Touhou song.

3:45 🔥🔥🔥🔥
👍
Is this the final game in this arc or is there going to be another one? No spoilers please.
There’s going to be another one the title for it is supposed to be revealed at the December shareholders meeting
No, there will be more games, but it will come out in 2024, since this year ys X will come out.
the best of jindos generic orchestra themes, i quite like the live vocals
Jindo I fucking kneel jesus christ
i feel like ive just been hit by a car
in the best way possible
i lack the audio capabilities to do this justice
Chorus no kiseki

So this is where the soundtrack budget went

@@zerosolis6664 It is so fitting in context, the entire of the final boss was extremely well done and the music choices for each phase were spot on.
Great Power still the king
Also this song reminds me of Bayonetta 1's final boss theme but not quite as memorable

Sounds like a Bleach fight
i understand now, since cold steel 3, except hajimeri, falcom have to choice between story or music, impossible to have both.
