@@keiich07 cs3 doesn't have enough orchestra, i think it is a tradition that most trails final boss theme to be orchestra, but this wasn't the case for CS2 and CS3
@@shun2240 I mean it kinda depends on who/what you are fighting to be honest, in this case Orchestra definitly fits better than any other options lol
@@Sunnyboy-ob4xz well final boss fights should be really really epic so I think it should be orchestra
@@shun2240 Ehh, what. CS3 didn't even have a particular "final boss theme" because of how it ended, but CS2 had EOV, so no clue what games you've been playing. And yes, EOV still counts as a final boss.
I expect this to have 1mil views after trails into reverie comes out global
Nah i dont think so but azure arbitrator is almost there
@yousif467 Yeah, I didn't expect it to play, but it did so definitely deserves it
Chills
I literally have never played any of this games before, i never searched any of the soundtrack of the series either.
But this is making me considering selling my soul to the franchise, is it worth it?
Are you into story driven, turn based JRPG? If so then hell yes. Be warned, the entire franchise will consume over 1000 hours of your life.
@@ryuseki2136 Welp, then is there a good place to start or whatever works?
@@Yroxcruk666 Trails in the sky is were everything starts, so that's usually the recommended starting point. However, it has a relatively slow start and can feel "outdated".
Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 also work as a starting point as it's more "modern", you might get spoiled on certain things in Sky starting with CS though.
@@Jardrin Alright thats good enough, thanks a lot!
It's well worth it.
SPOILERS: JESUS CHRIST! JUST FINISHED THEM GAME and when this ost played while im fighting the final boss--

Ishmelga Rean and Great One Valimar, i felt like i could facetank an orbital nuke by how great the ost is.. They did a great job showcasing how powerful valimar is when he is completed and absorbed all other divine knights, where he casually 1 shot all my mechs for 99999999 dmg until only rean left.. Not to mention when valimar, ordine and el prado comes back to possess the new mechs just to have fighting chance against Great One is the best.
I've played all Sky trilogy , zero and ao , and cold steel 1 to 4 but this easily tops my list for fave boss fight for the trails series.. or just because i've played all the trails series, makes the last boss just that impactful since estelle and lloyd joins the fight too...
Spreadsheet?
I liked when the heimdallr/erebonia motif came in a lot. made me stop playing for a bit just to listen
Yeah, Jindo put his absolute best into his Hajimari tracks. This even tops his E.O.V (CS2) final boss theme composition.
"Koi zero no kishi, Zoa Gillstein!"
KOOOII VALIMAAA.... wait wrong game
*Loki flashbacks as I look at grandmaster's "lasso of truth"* wait... Is the grandmaster a inverse Kang, where Instead of keeping a sacred timeline, she splits them when things don't go ideal(so like the twist of azure somehow and cs4's true ending)
I always theorized that, after loosely hearing about azure's apparent time twist, there's gonna be a trails game involving a time heist(would explain visiting some places or people like Kevin that weren't introduced in 3d graphics yet lol)
Reminds me of Vermillion Apocalypse
I wonder kind of SRW theme would this be. Boss? Final Boss? Protagonist final upgrade?
Probably the theme for both the reveal of the final boss' last form and the fight itself, in my opinion.

this song is used during Great One (Valimar Final Form) Final Boss Mech Battle vs. All Class7 Soldats (they will all get one shotted) + Pseudo Valimar, Ordine, El Prado... The great one valimar is the enemy.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" this is what i can describe this soundtrack, the harmony, the suspense, the vocal just there to make the fight itself which is already quite hard, when up a notch with S-craft and cheat like ability spam from the boss itself for jump scare ... It just MAKE PEOPLE WENT NUT!!!!!!! I hope i could support the Dev via PC version one day when it is release to the West, ported and translated, and yes i seen the ending, to be honest, i think i need to buy a new PC for the new Kiseki game, since it look so high end (JK i know it is in development and need lotta tweaks and improvements on making it smooth)
Don't really like this boss since you can't equip and quartz on the Deilfrigar which makes this boss a pain.
The grandmaster of ouroboros sure is a hottie
This 2D design looks way better than her 3D ingame model.
For me at least.
@@MandalorOrdo Personally I still perfer the old Sky/Zero/Azur way of using Chibi/pixial models with splash art representing characters but its understandable that they need to keep up with the times. Although Seeing the huge difference in their 3D models between Sen 1 and now does give me hope lol.
@@Sunnyboy-ob4xz thats not my point.
I still wonder the Grandmaster's identity, I mean she resembles Aidios so much but then again not since she is not exactly immortal.
@@GI876758 And i still wonder which NPC in the series begining with Sky is the one that interacted with the player party is the grandmaster.
Kondo confirmed (i cant remember the source) that we already met her (before CS3).
Rean: what is that and why do I hear boss music
On par with Azure Arbitrator in my opinion
I swear I've heard the first five seconds from somewhere else.
EDIT:
I GOT IT!! It kinda sounds like "The Mystic" from Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition!
"Heed my call, ZOA GILSTEIN!"
Good.
I wonder how much time did Jindo put to make this because this doesn't sound like 2 days made track
Jindo took around 1 month to complete Cloaca Maxima. This track here probably took a similar amount of work
@@AokiKatsumata thanks for the info.
Jindo saved the soundtrack
More than made up for Celestial 💤sence
Jindo is a king
More like GOD lol. This track is divine.
JINDO SAMA
there's the name now!
The Perfect Steel of ZERO. What a fitting title.
@@MaskedKingDavid I knew the name would be related to the previous games but I didn't expect it to be so fitting.
What this is the last boss theme? It already revealed itself in ch.3
if you want to go by that logic it was REVEALED IN THE TRAILER for the game
@@Schinak LOL
👀👀
Song's title sounds like combination of zero no kiseki and cold steel lol
Which makes sense since this game is basically a sequel to both Trails to Azure and Trails of Cold Steel IV
Good job Sherlock
It's the finale of the Erebonia/Crossbell saga so it's fitting.
It also fits the final boss that this track plays for, the Divine Knight of Zero and the reforged Sept-Terrion of Steel.
2:29~3:19
oh?
Oh. It's you again. Oh
The way lyrics are said sound similar to Berserk My Brother. Just speed difference.
I wonder how strong alter-rean compared with mcburn is?
By himself probably stronger than Mcburns demon form but below his true form, with Zoa Gilstein Alter Rean is likely beyond literally everything shown in the franchise so far. Only being defeated because of a rather severe but logical weakness and being weakened further.
@@joshzwei4870 I mean...it's literally 2 friggin SEPT TERRIONS at once, not restrained like in CS4. Remember how OP the Azure Arbitrator and Angel Weissman were in the context of their games? Yeah, this is like fusing those two into one. The boss can literally one shot anything as soon as it gets serious. So yeah...unless we somehow get 3 Sept Terrions fusing into one in Calvard or some other ludicrous thing that hasnt been shown yet, we're unlikely to see anything remotely this canonically powerful until the very end game of the series.
@@joshzwei4870
So basically, with Zoa Gilstein, Alter Rean is a god? He was only defeated by weakening him and using that logical weakness against him via kicking him out of the Elysium System.
Likely stronger than McBurn since Ishmelga is massively stronger than McBurn

I don't know if I should say this but I feel like most of the song for densetsu series from sora to sen 2 that was done by 小寺可南子 Kanako san was much better than 佐坂めぐみ Sasaka san the only song that I could genuinely like was aoki negai other than that everything else feels kinda hit and miss.
Most excellent track to an otherwise lackluster ending section. Really hope the next entry gets my hype back up.
