What a journey we went through together. The bracers, the SSS, and Class VII. Started playing the series early last year's December, and its basically kept me company during the pandemic. Gave me something to stay happy and hopeful for, even through what was a very dark and depressing year. I think Trails has touched me to my very soul, to be quite honest.
Phantasmal Blaze is my favorite final dungeon theme in the series, but this one really capture the feeling of "this is it, last line before the long deserve happy ending."
Anybody noticed they used the phrase from "I'll remember you" Crow song around 0:50 and again and again. At the time this is playing you didn't know if he'll or Rean survive. And it hit me hard. I'm going to miss all those chars so bad. What a series. I love every game. From Sky to Ao/Zero and of course Steel. Hajimari will be next on my list when it comes to us. Falcom...thank you. Op...thanks for the extended version of this superb track!

Finished Cold Steel 4 today and this is easily my favorite Trails game and my favorite game in general (although Hajimari no Kiseki might replace it). Absolutely loved this ost and this spectacular finale.
This was a joyride with a great ending. For the final battle my Team was: Team A: Rean, Sara, Emma, Laura, Jusis, Crow, Fie, and Alisa Team B: The Heroes of Liberl, and the SSS, Team C: Zephyr, Stahlritter, Erebonia’s greatest Swordsmen, and The Best Witches ( Xeno, Leo, Duvalie, Ines, Aurelia, Viscount Arseid, Roselia, and Vita)
I had Team 1: New Class 7 led by Rean + Toval and Duvalie. Team 2: Old Class 7 led by me, couldn’t fit Laura or Sara though. And SSS/Liberl for Team 3, no Agate since he’s always been replacement Joshua since SC. It was such a great battle.
@@gaiusworzel3829 Would've felt wrong to me if my teams hadn't been A: Rean + New Class 7, B: Bracer Crew (Estelle/Joshua/Agate/Renne) and C: The SSS (Lloyd, Elie, Tio, Randy). A team for every leg of the journey, including almost all the characters that really meant the most to me.
Well we're going to get Hajimari in a year or two for one final Journey with our current casts. And even after that, Trails is far from over. Calvard is waiting.^^
God, the wait for this game is PAINFUL. As soon as I finished Cold Steel 3, I felt resolved but also empty and hyped. It wasn't long after I picked up Trails in the Sky... Continuing my journey with The Legend of Heroes. Making preparations and doing all side-stuff before the final dungeon in Trails in The Sky the 3rd, for I will then be playing the Crossbell games after! Imagine my hype.
I will definitely miss this series to the very end but at least heres hoping Hajimari localizes next year since ps5 games are developed more than ever now
So I almost finished my journey with Trails starting with Cold Steel 1 back in September and then playing Cold Steel 2 right after 1 Then I went back to Sky and played all 3 of them then I played Zero However I skipped Azure because I wanted to play the geofount version but now today I finished Cold Steel 4 and it's my fav Cold Steel game and my 2nd Trails game behind Sky SC What a journey but I can't wait to play Azure and Hajimare and to see the future of this journey
After finishing all of the trails series up until CS IV.. Well.. I feel somewhat glad but also feels empty. All these past 10 years I've been waiting and playing the series.. I still remember when Osborne show up inside Grancel Castle in Sky 2nd's epilogue. While there is still Reverie, but i feel that CS IV already conclude all the games from Sky to Cold Steel. Need to be patient for Reverie to be translated, which will be the after story of Sky-CS and will set the stage for Kuro (Yay, Zin and Kilika will appear again in Kuro).
Oh man this is actually tearing me up because this is going to be the last we see of these memorable characters and the next games might start in a new content but as a end series game even though i hated the op not the song but the op video i just can't hate the ending theme it actually beautiful im definitely going to buy sen no kesiki 4 sond track
Pretty sure Rean will make a cameo and even playable in next trails. Judging by the end of cold steel 4, next arc probably starts year 1207~1208, even I do prefer a 1206 Calvard side story but kondo did say cold steel 4 will wrap everything from sky to cold steel, so it's more obvious Calvard arc or Leman arc gonna have a fresh start. I mean they have way too much foreshadowing in CS3~4, like a Calvard version of orbment system called "Lambda". Well, I do understands if next arc starts at 1206 gonna be a problem because there is no way Calvard Protagonist not showing up at all in cold steel 4 since there is a world crisis on the edge, unless himself also caught up in some unknown shit which causing him unable to react by free will (maybe like Rean at the beginning of CS4 but who knows). Also, I have to admit I am curious about Calvard 1204 because at the Zemuria Trade conference, THERE IS another terrorist group(root from Calvard) shown up with ILF, but I rather not to have another 1204 story....it's getting way too long... Anyway, I talk a lot while listen to this song, simply because this bgm is so god-like, especially that heavenly piano intro....I can loop this theme all day non-stop.
Also, I don’t want people to bash NISA about “censorship” until CS4 hits our shores, those tweets about it are toxic. Also, why doesn’t that leave too much of an impact unlike Blizzard’s censorship of Hong Kong? What’s the difference?
I wasn't too hot on the first final dungeon theme, so the final dungeon felt a little anticlimactic for me, but this one rectified all of my problems with it and some.
Then it's probably going to be like Cold Steel 2. You'll start from level 50+ or something and eventually get the improved versions of the crafts like True Crescent Slash, True Helix or something.

@Alien Star didn't they do an OVA for Trails In The Sky SC? so they have tried it. but all 3 arcs into an anime? that would be.. a lot of work.
It will not work, Sky SC was a COMPLETE miss! Because Sky SC was a great game and it missed some of the most important parts of the game
They’re making an anime based on the Erebonia arc now, but with a different story. I’m pretty interested to see how it turns out.

Even with Spirit Unification off, Rean still has Arcane Gale.
Actually I think he got a evolve version of arcane gale, probably around the lines like "orge arcane gale", the normal gale is gone by the way.
