The jump of Heike Drechsler shows that the long jump World Record isn't unbreakable as she still would've jumped 7.62m with a 2.0m/s tailwind.
The reason the current record has lasted so long is that doping control was made more stringent in the early 1990s. There are a lot of women's world records left over from the 1980s: 100, 200, 400, 800, SP, DT, LJ, and maybe one or two others. They're closing in on the 100 and 200 marks, but the others look pretty tough.
